In 2020, China proposed the goal of achieving carbon emission peaks by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060. For China, whose energy consumption structure has long been dominated by fossil energy, carbon trading and new energy are crucial for the realization of the emission target. By establishing a connectedness network model, this paper studies the static and dynamic spillovers between the Hubei carbon trading market, new energy stock market, crude oil market, coal market, and natural gas market in China, and draws the following conclusions: (1) the static spillover index of the carbon–energy–stock system is 3.57% and the dynamic spillover index fluctuates between 7.67% and 22.62%, indicating that the spillover effect of the system is low; (2) for the whole system, whether from a static or dynamic perspective, the carbon market always plays the role of net information receiver, while new energy is the net information transmitter; (3) the new energy stock market and the coal market always act as net information transmitters to the carbon market; and (4) the spillover effect of the system is asymmetric, wherein the system is more sensitive to negative information about price returns, and this asymmetry is much greater when the system is active.

After the first oil-price shock of 1973, a search for new energy policies was started all over the world. Changing one fundamental concept - that relating to the general development of energy supply and consumption - was, however, out of the question. The pre-1973 trend of development was maintained. The energy elasticities did not change. The old forecasts were still held to be valid and were considered now, as earlier, to be the objectives which a successful energy policy had to achieve. This was considered a prerequisite for high growth rates of GNP and improvements in living conditions, and energy consumption was regarded as an indicator of the level of economic development. Therefore, the focus was shifted to an enlargement of the supply of indigenous energy resources as a substitute for imported energy, so that dependence on foreign countries could be minimized.

Low-carbon governance at the county level has been an important issue for sustainable development due to the large contributions to carbon emission. However, the experiences of carbon emission governance at the county level are lacking. This paper discusses 5 carbon emission governance zones for 1753 counties. The zoning is formed according to a differentiated zoning method based on a multi-indicator evaluation to judge if the governance had better focus and had formulated a differentiated carbon emission governance system. According to zoning results, there is 1 high-carbon governance zone, 2 medium-carbon governance zones, and 2 low-carbon zones. The extensive high-carbon governance zone and medium-carbon zones are key governance areas, in which the counties are mainly located in the northern plain areas and southeast coastal areas and have contributed 51.88% of total carbon emissions. This paper proposes differentiated governance standards for each indicator of the 5 zones. The differentiated zoning method mentioned in this paper can be applied to other governance issues of small-scale regions.

The power quality of new energy resources has received tremendous attention recently. The control approach for the inverter, an interface between the new energy resources, and the infinite bus system is of vital importance. For the virtual synchronous generator (VSG), one of the research hotspots in the inverter control field, there are some challenges remaining to be dealt with. First is the contradiction between the rapid response and overshoot of active power output if VSG is connected to the grid. Secondly, the active power is deeply influenced by the fluctuation of gird frequency and this may bring power oscillation to VSG in weak grids. In this article, an active power controller for power tracking of grid-connected VSG is designed based on linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) by compensating for the lumped disturbance in a feedforward fashion. The parameters of the controller are analyzed and tuned in the frequency domain to acquire a desirable control performance. Moreover, the robustness of the control system is also considered. Simulation results show that the designed control system can transmit active power to the grid in a timely manner with no overshoot, as demanded. Additionally, it can output active power steadily according to the power reference without using a phase-locked loop (PLL) when the grid frequency has different features of fluctuation. In addition, the simulation results demonstrate that the improved VSG has strong robustness to the model parameter perturbation and mismatch.

<p>As new energy resources like solar, wind and hydropower are being used more and more over the world, the demand for transport of energy and with that the demand for powerlines is big. Also, in The Netherlands this is the case. TenneT (company responsible for the transport of energy in The Netherlands) had to realise a total of 75 km’s of power lines in one project called Wintrack II. This includes 41 different kind of pole types that carry the conductors. The conductors are carried by so called bipoles, these are conical steel tubes.‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌</p><p>To help TenneT a semi-automatic tooling was made to calculate and to model the different pole types. The poles are modelled with inventor and calculated with different software programs.</p><p>To validate the different calculations and used model’s 3D FEM-calculations are performed as well as full scale tests. Several kinds of calculations and designs are made, especially in steel and concrete. For example, calculations are made on vortex, prestressing of anchors, flange connections and next to that measurements are being performed on full scale poles.</p>

This study aims to discuss new and renewable energy policies as an effort to build national energy security. Research methods use legal research that searches from various perspectives. The implementation of analysis, using the method of regulatory and focus on energy, generally has many impacts. First, the policy on the use of new and renewable energy aims to prepare the carrying capacity of national energy security. Implementation this policy has not been fully implemented because there are still many obstacles faced. Second, the use of new energy and renewable energy as an effort to build national energy security in Indonesia is still not optimal. Even though Indonesia is blessed with abundant natural and energy resources in all its regions and the need for new and renewable energy as the future fate of energy security in the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia for people's welfare as a step to reduce the increase in consumption of fossil-based energy.
