Improvement of technical means for processing waste from logging operations for fuel chips in felling conditions

Currently, wood waste in the form of a dissected crown on the ground and the root fraction of the tree's biomass in the ground remain in felling areas, becoming potentially dangerous combustible materials in the event of forest fires, as well as obstacles to reforestation activities, and possible foci of infections. Shredding wood waste into wood chips will solve the problem of their disposal by using fuel chips as an additional source of heat energy. In the present work, the influence of design and operational parameters of milling machines with a modernized hydraulic system and equipped with active working bodies on the process of shredding wood waste is established. The annual economic effect from the introduction of the developed complex of wood waste shredding machines and economic indicators from the use of fuel chips are given. This publication is intended for undergraduates and postgraduates engaged in scientific research in the field of forestry mechanization.

For more than half a century bicycle transport demonstrates its effectiveness as one of the elements of the transport network of the city. Currently, vehicles with low-power motors such as electric bicycle, electric scooter, gyrometer, segway, wheelbarrow, scooter motor and others are gaining people's attention. These vehicles can be combined into a group of low-speed individual vehicles (hereinafter - NITS) with similar re-quirements for the operational parameters of urban infrastructure. From the urban point of view, the interest in NITC is that the number of its users has increased significantly in recent years. The article presents the results of a sociological survey of residents of Serpukhov, allowing to assess the current and potential readi-ness of the population to use NITC. The growing popularity of NITC has led to an increase in the environmen-tal and economic effect, which is manifested at a particular level of development of the movement on NITC. The ecological and economic effect of the use of NITC has an extremely positive impact on the improvement of the urban environment. This article provides a list of indicators that reflect the growth in the standards of living of society from movement by the NITC, and the calculation of one of them - the increase in entrepre-neurial activity on the streets with increased traffic to the NITC. Indicators are necessary for calculation of complex criterion of efficiency and safety of street network due to development of the movement by NITC. The result will allow public authorities authorized to make decisions on the strategy of transport policy of cities to quantify the ratio of economic benefits from the development of infrastructure of the NITC with the cost of its construction and operation.

А method based on comparing oscilloscope patterns of operational parameters with reference curves is one of the most promising methods of diagnosing hydraulic systems among the existing ones. Its implementation does not allow accurate localization of the faulty unit in the system and quantitative estimation of the magnitude of the fault. To eliminate these shortcomings, it is advisable to use simulation models of hydraulic units, taking into account typical faults of a hydraulic system. Their use makes it possible to evaluate the effect of a particular malfunction on the change of dynamic parameters at the stage of mathematical modeling. As a result of the analysis of statistical information and literary sources, characteristic faults of hydraulic systems are identified. Their causes and the impact on the operation of hydraulic units are examined. Simulation models of units taking into account typical faults are described in the Matlab / Simscape software package. They are implemented using a typical hydraulic system as an example. Dynamic characteristics of a hydraulic system in a healthy condition and those of a system with one of the characteristic faults are compared.

Machines used in gardens do not fully comply with the quality indicators of tillage, especially in the near-trunk zones of fruit trees. Theoretical analysis made it possible to establish that the preferred protective distance in the aisle of the garden should be at least 0.20 m in each direction, and in the inter-barrel space of the boles along a row of 0.38 m and to establish the optimal width of the extension section of 0.55 m. As a result of the research, an original design of the deflectable milling section of the garden milling cutter with an autonomous hydraulic system was proposed and developed, as working bodies knives with special sharpening are used. The tracking system of the remote section is equipped with a double remote probe, when exposed to which the section is retracted to the required distance to protect the trunk of a tree. The use of a deflectable milling section of a garden milling cutter allows to increase the accuracy and quality indicators of processing in the near-trunk zones of garden plantings, while the density of the soil decreases on average by 24%.

The paper provides an overview of research on the working processes of screw working bodies of technological machines. It is noted that at present such important issues in the theory of auger working bodies as the required number of auger turns, the required position of the auger spiral in relation to the center, etc. have not been fully resolved, since the solution of these issues can provide an increased productivity of the tool. A structural and technological scheme of a forest fire machine with multifunctional modules is proposed, which consists of auger working bodies, which can be changed modularly with a screw metal thread for a brush, depending on the area and type of soil, the rotor of the thrower, with the ability to drive the cutters-throwers and auger working bodies both from the power take-off shaft of the tractor, and using a hydraulic motor, a guide casing. A mathematical model of an auger working body with a hydraulic drive has been compiled for removing the ground cover with forest litter when extinguishing forest fires with a ground gun, so that combustible materials do not fall into the fire zone together with the soil flow from the rotor-thrower. The working process of the hydraulic drive of the auger working bodies of a forest fire ground-sweeping machine is described by a system of differential equations, including the equations of translational and rotational movements of the auger working body and the equation of the flow rate of the working fluid. Utilization of various stalks of grain crops (wheat, soy and rapeseed) is made by their grinding, usually in the field. The crushed straw is scattered across the field, and the spreading width is adjusted depending on the width of the reaper cutting devices. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the existing market of knives for agricultural machines; goods of enterprises producing the knives, harvesters, using knives, types of knives, part numbers, specifications of knives in size and durability and to produce a feasibility study of using hardening knives. (Materials and methods) Authors used a digital method of searching through the Internet for enterprises that produce knives; combines that use knives; types of knives and their characteristics. (Results and discussion) It was found that due to intensive wear, the geometry of the cutting part and the overall dimensions of the working bodies of harvesting machines change, which causes violations of agricultural requirements, increased losses during crop harvesting, and increased energy costs. It was found that the efficiency of an agricultural machine directly depends on the state of its working parts, since they are limiting in terms of durability. The article notes that replacement of worn elements is accompanied by more labor, which reduces labor productivity, unnecessary equipment downtime and ultimately reduce profits of the enterprise. These factors indicate the need for technological measures to increase the resource of working parts of cutting devices of agricultural machines. (Conclusions) The article presents the results of the analysis of the market of existing enterprises for the production of knives. It gaves a feasibility to study of the effectiveness of strengthening knives using the technology of the Federal scientific Agroengineering center VIM. Production of hardened knives gives a good economic effect on import substitution.

The four-point leveling hydraulic system (FLHS) is a key component of high-precision hydraulic press. To meet the development trend of leveling system of hydraulic press, such as large stroke, anti-bias load ability, big leveling torque, principle of passive FLHS with four axis synchronous controlling has been proposed, using four high-precision displacement sensors and four high-response servo-proportional valves (HSPV). Because the HSPV has a certain predictive opening, during the process of passive leveling operating, linearization of the mathematic model at operating point is necessary. In this paper, a simulation model of the system, which uses the average type synchronous control strategy, is built with ADAMS and MATLAB / Simulink, as well as the operational parameters of the model. The result of the simulation shows that the system using the average type synchronous control strategy is able to ensure the synchronization error among the four axis of the leveling system. It also suggests that the proposed leveling and the control strategy are reasonable, effective and feasible.

 Basic kinematic parameters and operational parameters of the wide arable units in trailers and outboard connection to the tractor are calculated. At the  classical “plow” arrangement of sixteen working bodies on the frame of the plow with a width of 0.38 m, the working width of the plough is 6.0 m, but the kinematic length of the unit is equal to 18.6 m. In a frontal arrangement in four rows of sixteen   working bodies on the frame of the plow width of plow is also 6.0 m, but the kinematic length of the unit is equal to 5.6 m. In the result of theoretical researches they are established graphic dependences of productivity of the arable unit with various kinematic length of the speed on the  movement of the arable unit and the length of the field.

Disk separators operate on the basis of selective removal of a short fraction grain from a mixture with longer ones, for example, darnel grains and similar impurities from a mixture of wheat grains; or wheat grains from a mixture of wild oat seeds and other longer waste particles. For this purpose, the working bodies of separators— cylinders or disks — are equipped with special cavities, so called “cells”, which location, shape and size correspond to the technological operation. In the flow lines of the grain cleaning workshops of high performance flour mills, predominantly, disk separators, which construction and productivity are well-known from the scientific and technical literature, are used. In recent decades, the improved, so-called small-scale disk separators for wild oat, for example, A9-УТО-6 and some others, have been created and become widely used. Their specialties include, in particular, the lack of interdisciplinary trays in the pre-configured prefabricated input device (i.e., they are characterized by the use of unblocked WUAs). Further improvement of an unblocked WUA is possible on the basis of “The grain mixture cleaning method", which involves the location of cells on the surface of the discs, which ensures that the short particles fall out of them with a compact beam at the same angle, regardless of the distance of the cell relative to the axis of rotation. Therefore, the casting model of the disc should receive a more complex construction, which, unlike the present, mainly manual technology, is expedient to use with modern CNC milling machines.
