The development of the intelligent green building project (IGBP) is the pursuit of a business strategy of an enterprise in principle and the launch of the project in practice. The IGBP is integrated with the application of the Project Definition Rating Index (PDRI) in order to combine the needs of pre-project planning. These are the steps to enhance the performance of project execution. The IGBP-PDRI model proposed to construct in this study is based on the life cycle of the engineering to set up different phases of work for process evaluation. The model of evaluation is divided into 4 sections, 11 categories, and 60 elements. Pre-project planning helps to forecast possible risks in the development of the project. In the course of project execution, quality requirement is satisfied through monitoring and control. These help to ensure the operation efficiency of the project, to the extent that the automated system of the building supported by green construction can meet the goal of sustainable development.

Continuous manufacturing (CM) has the potential to provide pharmaceutical products with better quality, improved yield and with reduced cost and time. Moreover, ease of scale-up, small manufacturing footprint and on-line/in-line monitoring and control of the process are other merits for CM. Regulating authorities are supporting the adoption of CM by pharmaceutical manufacturers through issuing proper guidelines. However, implementation of this technology in pharmaceutical industry is encountered by a number of challenges regarding the process development and quality assurance. This article provides a background on the implementation of CM in pharmaceutical industry, literature survey of the most recent state-of-the-art technologies and critically discussing the encountered challenges and its future prospective in pharmaceutical industry.

This case is about a major expansion and upgradation project undertaken at a refinery in Northern Pakistan in the 1990s. The project was the biggest expansion project since the company's inception in the 1920s. The project was carried out by a Japanese contractor, and was marked by changes in CEO's and Project Managers. Despite the vicissitudes in relationships between the construction team and company management, the project was completed in time and within budget. The case looks at project management from the client's perspective. It can be used in a module on Project Termination, or Project Monitoring and Control in a course on Project Management). The case highlights the importance of project planning, and monitoring; the management of inter-personal relationships; and 'post-mortem' analysis and learning from projects.

The importance of inter-organizational trust to project success has been increasingly highlighted in the construction industry. This study aims to explore the role of trust between project parties. It adopts a combination of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. Based on the analysis of the responses of a questionnaire survey, trust is demonstrated to have a significant contribution to the development of cooperative or collaborative relationships; fostering trust proves to have a major influence on the improvement of project performance; and some relationship and performance indicators are found to have closer associations with trust than others so that trust is more important to the development of relationship and the improvement of performance in these aspects. The analysis of questionnaire responses also provides significant evidence for the reduction in monitoring and control following the increase of mutual trust. The questionnaire survey is followed by a series of expert interviews, both of which contribute to the establishment of a model that links trust with relationship and performance and distinguishes the new approach that is based on trust from the traditional mechanism that relies on monitoring and control.

The essence of benchmarking is investigated and questions of its organization in the course of mortgage lending operations in the bank are considered as one of the most effective modern tools for improvement of work and achievement of competitive advantages in the field of mortgage lending. Taking into account the specifics of banking operations in the banking sector, benchmarking can be considered as a process for comparing the Bank’s services and business processes with the products of services and business processes of leading banks, best lenders, partners in order to borrow better practices in mortgage operations and their adaptation for obtaining competitive advantages in the market of mortgage banking services. The classification signs of benchmarking of mortgage lending are singled out and systematized, which will enable the management of banks to purposefully apply the methodology of studying and introducing the positive experience of competitors, partners and other organizations, as well as promoting the innovative development of credit organizations, and in the future, specialized mortgage banks in Ukraine. It is determined that the choice of the type of benchmarking depends on: the goals, goals and objectives set by the banks; ability to obtain the information and analysis necessary for comparison; the necessary financial, human resources, information, technological and other resources, as well as the experience of the workers and the time required for its implementation. In order to improve the process of mortgage lending, the Bank proposes the following procedure for the introduction of a benchmarking procedure: the identification of areas to be improved, that is, objects of benchmarking, based on the results of the analysis of the state of mortgage lending in a bank; definition of the basic criteria of comparative analysis; search for benchmarking benchmarks; collection and processing of information; development of recommendations and their introduction into the policy of mortgage lending in the bank; monitoring and control over the implementation of decisions on problem solving. This creates the preconditions for using the positive experience of leading banks in the field of mortgage lending and forms the appropriate principles for developing a strategy for further development of the bank. It is substantiated that the use of benchmarking in the activities of banks in relation to mortgage lending is a powerful tool in the context of global competition, and its implementation in the organization of economic analysis of mortgage lending operations of banks will allow for a higher level of application of mortgage opportunities.

Background: Hospitals are the most important element of the health system. Hospitals play a key role in providing health services and have a major impact on the health system's performance. The success of organizations depends on their managers’ performance. Organizations with qualified and experienced managers will be more successful in achieving their goals and can reach optimal efficiency. Methods: This is a phenomenological qualitative study in which content analysis was used to achieve study objectives. The study population included the hospitals managers and senior experts of the vice chancellor for treatment of a provincial department of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Iran. Participants were selected by purposive and heterogeneous methods and data collection continued until data saturation was achieved. Data were collected by semi-structured face-to-face interviews. Results: From our data, seven main themes were drawn, consisting of monitoring and control, planning, organizing, leadership and motivational factors, management of resources and information, communication and interdepartmental coordination and patient orientation Conclusion: Hospital managers play a key role in improving hospital function. Assessing hospital managers' performance, determining their strengths and weaknesses and taking corrective actions are beneficial to the improvement of hospitals’ performance.
