The aim of this study was to determine the effect of liquidity, profitability, leverage, operating capacity, and managerial agency costs on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research period used was 2015-2017. The type of this research was associative causal with quantitative approach. The population of this study includes all manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, and obtained as many as 84 companies, consists of 42 companies that experienced financial distress, and 42 companies that didn’t experience financial distress as comparison company. Data analysis conducted through logistic regression. Based on this research, it was concluded that liquidity proxied by current ratio had no effect to financial distress. Profitability proxied by return on asset had no effect on financial distress. Leverage proxied by debt to asset ratio had a significant and possitiveeffect on financial distress. Operating capacity proxied with total asset turnover had no effect on financial distress. Managerial Agency costs had no effect on financial distress. The Nagelkerke R Square’s score in this study was 0.491 which means that the ability of liquidity, profitability, leverage, operating capacity, and managerial agency were able to explain the variable of financial distress condition by 49.1%. The remaining of 50.9% dependent variables were explained by other factors outside the model.

Abstract Purpose: This study aimed to ascertain the impact of debt-to-equity ratio, current ratio, quick ratio, total asset turnover, and return on assets on profit growth in basic industrial and chemical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2013 to 2017. Research Methodology: The population of this study consists of 69 firms, 52 of which passed the sample selection criterion using a purposive sampling technique. The data sources for this study are the financial statements of the companies sampled via www.idx.co.id. This study employs multiple linear regression analysis and is conducted using the SPSS software version 20. (Statistical Product and Service Solutions). Results: The results of this study indicate that ROA has an impact on profit growth, while the current ratio, quick ratio, total asset turnover, and debt to equity ratios do not.

This study aims to determine how the influence of operating capacity, sales growth and operating cash flows on financial distress. The population in this study israll agricultural sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2013-2017. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling which produced 8 samples in a period of 5 years, namely as many as 40 units of data samples. The analytical method used is logistic �regression analysis which is processed. using SPSS Version 25. Based on the results of this study, it was found that simultaneous operating capacity, sales growth and operating cash flows influence the occurrence of financial distress. Then partially, operating capacity and sales growth have no effect on the occurrence of financial distress, while operating cash flows have a positive and significant effect on the occurrence of financial distress.�Keyword : Financial Distress, Operating capacity, Sales growth, Operation cash flow.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of partial financial distress on the going concern audit opinion, to determine the effect of partial profitability on the going concern audit opinion and to know the moderating ability of profitability on financial distress that affects the going concern audit opinion. This research conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2015-2017. The research sample was obtained using purposive sampling technique. Data collection is done by non-participant observation methods. Data analysis techniques are carried out using the method of binary logistic regression analysis. The test results show that financial distress has an effect on the going concern audit opinion, profitability has no effect on the audit opinion, and profitability weakens the effect of financial distress on the going concern audit opinion. Public Accounting Firm (PAF) switching in companies follows the regulation number 17/PMK.01/2008 article 3 of the Minister of Finance Republik Indonesia, which is in a period of 6 years or voluntarily. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the size of PAF, financial distress (FD), firm size of client (FSC), client management switching (CMS), audit comitee switching (ACS) to PAF switching voluntarily on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2010-2014. The population in this research are manufacturing companies listed in IDX in 2010-2014. The sample in this study were taken by purposive sampling method and 21 companies are selected as the sample by criteria. These variables are then tested using logistic regression at a significance level of 5 percent. The result showed that the size of PAF, FD, FSC, CMS does not affect PAF Switching and ACS has affect PAF Switching. The limitations of this research, the variables used only five independent variables, the research period only five years, and sample selection is only based on a purposive sampling.

This study aims to determine and test the factors that influence financial distress. The factors in this study are liquidity, profitability, activity, and sales growth. Financial distress is measured using the Springate method. Liquidity is measured using the formula Current Ratio (CR), Return On Assets (ROA) is used to measure profitability, Total Asset Turnover (TAT) is used to measure activity and Sales Growth is measured by sales per year. The population in this study was 73 property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period. Based on purposive sampling technique, 18 company samples were obtained that met the criteria for five years of observation with a total of 90 observational data. Data analysis techniques in this study used logistic regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity, profitability, and activities had a significant effect on financial distress, while sales growth had no effect on financial distress in property, real estate, and building construction companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period.

Being aware the signal of financial distress conditions is important because in the worst case scenario the company can be forced in to liquidation. This condition can be predicted using model that have been developed by many researchers. The purpose of this research is analyze and describe the effects of current asset to current liability, debt to total asset, total asset turnover, and  net income to equity in predicting the condition of financial distress in manufacturing companies listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange  in year 2012-2017. The data analiysis method is logit regression. The resecarch sample used purposive sampling tecnique. The result of wald test (partial) showed that current asset to current liability, debt to total asset and  total asset turnover that have significant effects to predict the condition of  financial distress in company, whilst net income to equity not significant to predict the condition of financial distress in the company. The result of G2/likehood showed that current asset liability, debt to total asset, total asset turnover and  net income to equity  simultaneously have significant influence to predict the condition of financial distress in company. Value of Mc fadden R-squared (R2) showed the relation among the variabels is in a very strong category.

This study aims at analyzing the influence of the Public Accountant Firms Size, Size of Company, Financial Distress, Audit Opinion and Management Turnover toward Auditor Switching. The population of this study is a manufacturing company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2011-2015 consisting of 134 companies. The sample was obtained by purposive sampling technique which resulted in the sample of 26 companies. Methods of data analysis using logistic regression and SPSS 21 using data and other information obtained from Annual Report. Results of this study shows that the Public Accountant Firms Size and Management Turnover have significant impact toward auditor switching, size of company have influence auditor switching. Financial distress and audit opinion did not effect auditor switching significantly. The value of Nagelkerke R Square is 0.283. conclusions of this study is the Public Accountant Firms Size and Management Turnover have significant impact toward auditor switching, size of company have influence auditor switching. Financial distress and audit opinion did not effect auditor switching significantly.

This study aims to determine whether the financial ratios that proxied by Current Ratio, Debt to Equity Ratio, Total Asset Turnover, and Earning Before Interest, tax, Depreciation, and Amortization  affect to Financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the IDX from  2013  to  2017. The  samples  consist  of  46  manufacturing  companies. The data  analysis  method used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that Total Asset Turnover and Earning  Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization influence partially to Financial Distress. Whereas, Current Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio has not influence partially to Financial distress. The results showed that Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Earning Before Interest, Tax, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA) influence simultaneously to Financial Distress on manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2013-2017.

This study conducted to understand and get empirical evidence from the effect of factors which represented by Liquidity, Leverage, Operating Capacity, Profitability and Firm Growth on Financial Distress at manufacture companies which listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015-2017. This study is an associative research category. This study uses quantitative methods to determine the effect of a variable on other variables. All of manufacturing companies which listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2015 to 2017 are the population of this study. Then, the number of samples used are 101 companies which purposive sampling as the sample technique. Samples are selected using the specified criteria.The factors that become the variables in this research are liquidity, leverage, operating capacity, profitability and firm growth as independent variables, and financial distress as dependent variable. This research used secondary data. The data analysis technique used binary logistic regression supported by SPSS version 23. The result of this research showed that liquidity, leverage, operating capacity, and profitability have significant influence on the condition of financial distress of manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, firm growth do not have significant influence on the condition of financial distress of manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange.
