Mobile Multimedia-based Batakologi Learning Model Development

The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile multimedia-based Batakologi learning model as the tradition of the Batak culture and lead computer based innovative module products for Junior High School students. The application development method consists of seven phases, namely (1) Research and Preliminary Information Collecting; (2) Planning; (3) Developing Preliminary Product; (4) Preliminary Field Testing; (5) Preliminary Product Revision; (6) Main Field Testing; (7) Operational Product Revision. Data were collected in the research and development using qualitative descriptive analysis of the implementation and results of the design development of the model. Product of this research was the computer based Batakologi learning modules that could be accessed using mobile devices. The findings of the research shows improving student learning atmosphere and it was more fun and independent in learning about Batak culture.

The purpose of this study was to determine the design of LKPD based on the TPS learning model for junior high school students. This research model is the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, but in this study the researchers limited it only to the development stage. (Development). The subjects of this study were six experts consisting of two mathematics education lecturers and one mathematics teacher as a material expert as well as two mathematics education lecturers and one mathematics teacher as a media expert. While the object is LKPD based on TPS learning model. The research instrument used was a learning media questionnaire. Consists of a questionnaire of material experts and media experts. Based on data analysis, the average value obtained by material experts is 4.3 and media experts is 4.4. From these results, it can be stated that the mathematics learning media meets the validity requirements of the learning media with an overall average value of 4.3 including in the Very Good category. Thus, from the validation results it can be stated that the LKPD based on the TPS learning model meets the validity requirements and is declared eligible.

The main objective of this research is to produce junior high school Physics teaching materials oriented to a simple practical tool that can be used to foster junior high school students 'creative thinking skills, with the specific aim of knowing the indicators of junior high school students' creative thinking skills that can be grown through the use of a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with the design of Equivalent Pretest-Posttest Design (Design of Prates-Pascates Equivalent). This research was conducted at the Labschool Junior High School of Tadulako University where  the class VIII students being the research subjects. The research instrument used was an essay test and observation sheet. The data analysis technique used was quantitative data analyzed by inferential statistics, calculating the significance of the differences in the average of both groups of samples and qualitative data analyzed by using the stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that a guided inquiry learning model assisted by a simple practicum tool could foster the creative thinking skills of the students of Labschool UNTAD Junior High School in the indicators of flexible thinking, fluent thinking and originality.

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Jigsaw learning model on mutual respect in grade VIII junior high school students. The study population consisted of 3 classes totaling 72 students. The sample of this research is class VIII students, amounting to 23 students. The determination of the sample class of this study was carried out using random sampling techniques. The research data were obtained through the distribution of pre-test and post-test in which validity were tested using the product moment formula. Research data were analyzed using quantitative techniques through independent sample t-test. The results showed that the use of the Jigsaw learning model had a significant effect on the mutual respect of students in the eighth grade. The results of this study can be a reference for education practitioners and related parties in an effort to instill mutual respect for students in schools, especially in the learning process.These findings can be further research material to find models, methods, or media that can be used by education practitioners and related parties for character education in schools.

This article describes the development of handep cooperative learning model consist of 3-4 members become pair handep cooperative learning model in the form of module and validated by experts and students who used it. The model of development used R2D2, that focused on the design and development stage. The draft of the model at the single-path prototype level validated by the learning expert and small group validation in context the of mathematics learning in secondary school, to get the model at alpha version level. The instrument is rubric and questionnaire for small group testing. The result of the research (1) the model has fulflled the principle of quantum teaching that is context orchestrations include an exciting learning atmosphere and solid foundation; (2) junior high school students rated the model interesting and fun; (3) learning steps that to be challenging on individual work steps and mutually assisting in solved the difcult problems for students individually; (4) the model has reached the alpha version level. Abstrak Artikel ini menjelaskan pengembangan model pembelajaran kooperatif handep beranggotakan 3-4 orang menjadi model kooperatif handep berpasangan dalam bentuk modul dan dinilai oleh pakar dan siswa yang menggunakannya. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah R2D2 (Recursive, Reflective, Design and Development), difokuskan pada tahap design and development. Draf model pada level single path prototype divalidasi oleh pakar pembelajaran dan uji kelompok kecil dalam pembelajaran matematika di SMP, untuk mendapatkan model pada level alpha version. Instrumen berupa koesioner dengan pertanyaan terbuka untuk validasi ahli, dan angket respon siswa untuk uji kelompok kecil. Hasil penelitian (1) model telah memenuhi kaidah Quantum teaching yaitu orkestrasi konteks meliputi suasana belajar yang menggairahkan dan landasan yang kokoh, (2) siswa SMP menilai model tersebut menarik dan menyenangkan, (3) langkah-langkah pembelajaran yang dirasakan menantang pada langkah bekerja secara individual dan saling membantu secara bergiliran dalam memecahkan masalah sulit bagi siswa secara individual, dan (4) model telah mencapai level alpha version. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem-Based Learning (PBL) pada topik sudut yang layak. Penelitian pengembangan ini mengadopsi model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan meliputi Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Kualitas LKPD ditinjau dari penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan respon peserta didik. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket ahli materi, angket ahli media, dan angket respon peserta didik. LKPD diujicobakan di kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta dengan subjek sebanyak 32 peserta didik. LKPD yang dikembangkan memuat aktivitas pembelajaran sesuai langkah PBL, menyajikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari di awal pembelajaran, dan dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran online. Ditinjau dari aspek materi, LKPD dinilai baik dengan rerata skor penilaian oleh ahli materi yaitu 4,00. Ditinjau dari aspek media, LKPD dinilai baik dengan skor penilaian oleh ahli media sebesar 3,6. Respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD termasuk pada kategori baik dengan rerata skor penilaian sebesar 4,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa LKPD berbasis PBL untuk SMP kelas VII pada topik sudut layak digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika. Development of a students' worksheet based on problem-based learning (PBL) on the topic of anglesAbstractThis study aimed to produce a students’ worksheet or Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of angles, which were feasible. This development research adopts the ADDIE development model with stages including Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The quality of LKPD was viewed from the assessment of material experts, media experts, and students’ responses. The instrument used was a material expert questionnaire, a media expert questionnaire, and a students’ response questionnaire. LKPD was piloted on 32 seventh grade students of private junior high schools, namely SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The developed LKPD contained learning activities according to PBL steps, presented problems related to everyday life at the beginning of learning, and could be used in online learning. In terms of the material aspect, LKPD was considered good with an average score of assessment by material experts, namely 4.00. In terms of the media aspect, LKPD was considered good with a score of 3.6 by media experts. Students’ responses to the use of LKPD were included in the good category with an average score of assessment of 4.05. It could be concluded that the PBL-based LKPD for seventh-grade junior high school students on the topic of angles was feasible for use in the implementation of mathematics learning.

DEVELOPMENT OF THE ADEL LEARNING MODEL ON CELL ORGANELLE TOPIC FOR GRADE 7 JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AbstractThis study aims to create the ADEL learning model on the subject of cell organelles for grade 7 students of junior high school. This ADEL learning model is a combination of two learning approaches, the SAVI approach and accelerated learning. This research was conducted in four stages: define, design, develop, disseminate. Data collected were using instruments, including product assessment sheets in the form (aspects of content validity, construction, and practicality) and student questionnaire responses. Product trials are conducted with limited trials and large group trials. The test subjects were 35 students of grade 7 SMPN 15 Yogyakarta. The results of the analysis of the aspects of the validity of the ADEL learning model reach valid criteria, the practical aspects of the ADEL learning model have very good criteria and show that the ADEL learning model is quite practical. Moreover, students' responses to the ADEL learning model received good responses. The ADEL learning model on cell organelle material for 7th-grade junior high school students has valid and practical criteria so that it can be implemented in the learning process. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran ADEL pada materi organel sel kelas VII SMP. Model pembelajaran ADEL ini merupakan kombinasi dari 2 pendekatan pembelajaran yaitu pendekatan SAVI dan Accelerated Learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dengan model 4-D yang terdiri atas Tahap define, design, develop, disseminate. Pengambilan data menggunakan lembar angket penilaian produk yang berupa (aspek validitas isi & konstruk serta kepraktisan) dan angket respon peserta didik. Uji coba produk dilakukan dengan uji coba terbatas dan uji coba kelompok besar. Subjek uji coba yaitu 34 peserta didik kelas VII SMP N 15 Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: model pembelajaran ADEL pada materi organel sel kelas VII SMP layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil analisis aspek validitas model pembelajaran ADEL mencapai kriteria valid, aspek praktis model pembelajaran ADEL memiliki kriteria sangat baik dan menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran ADEL cukup praktis. dan tanggapan peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran ADEL mendapatkan tanggapan yang baik. Model pembelajaran ADEL pada materi organel sel untuk peserta didik kelas 7 SMP memiliki kriteria yang valid dan praktis. sehingga dapat diimplementasikan dalam proses pembelajaran.

AbstrakKemampuan literasi statistis siswa sekolah menengah pertama masih rendah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kemampuan tersebut dengan melakukan inovasi terhadap model pembelajaran yang diterapkan. Berkaitan dengan peningkatan kemampuan literasi statistis tersebut diterapkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi. Metode dalam penelitian ini metode kuasi-eksperimen dengan instrumen penelitian soal tes berupa indikator kemampuan literasi statistis. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas VIII pada Madrasah Tsanawiyah berjumlah 36 orang siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan literasi statistis yang signifikan antara siswa yang mendapat model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi dengan model pembelajaran ekspositori. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dimodifikasi dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif model pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi statistis. Enhancing Statistical Literacy Abilities through Modified Project-Based LearningAbstractThe statistical literacy ability of junior high school students is still low. One way to improve this ability is by innovating the applied learning model. Regarding the increase in statistical literacy skills, a modified project-based learning model is applied. The method in this study is a quasi-experimental method with a research instrument about test questions in the form of indicators of statistical literacy. The research subjects of class VIII students at the Tsanawiyah Madrasah were 36 students. The results of the study are that there are significant differences in statistical literacy skills between students who receive a project-based learning model modified by the expository learning model. The modified project-based learning model can be used as an alternative learning model for improving statistical literacy skills.

This study aims to analyze whether the application of Group Investigation (GI) learning model Based on Mind Mapping media can improve   creativities of the student of SMP Wisata Sanur.  The research type is Pre-Exprimental Design with One-group Pretest-Postest Designs research design conducted at SMP Wisata Sanur from April to May. Data collection using creativity assessment rubrics with 7 aspects. The result showed that there was an increase of creativity score from 75,3 to 169,2 with significance level of each aspect of creativity, ie Design aspect (p = 0,017), Color (p = 0,017), Idea and Context (p = 0,017), Kata Key (p = 0.018), Combining ideas (p = 0.018), Hierarchy Level (p = 0.017), Presentation Concept (p = 0.017). Based on the data obtained after being tested with Wilcoxon Match Pairs there was a significant difference (p = 0,018> 0,05) on student creativity in making Mind Mapping before and after apply the learning model. The conclusion of this research is the application of cooperative learning model of Group Investigation based on Mind Mapping has an effect on to the creativity of junior high school students of Sanur Tourism. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis apakah penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) Berbasis media Mind Mapping dapat meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMP Kerta Wisata Sanur. Jenis penelitian adalah Pre-Exprimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian One-group Pretest-Postest Designs yang dilaksanakan di SMP Wisata Sanur . Data didapatkan menggunakan rubrik penilaian kreativitas dengan 7 aspek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan jumlah skor kreativitas dari 75,3 menjadi 169,2 dengan taraf signifikansi masing-masing aspek kreativitas yaitu aspek Rancangan (p=0,017), Warna (p=0,017), Ide dan Konteks (p=0,017), Kata Kunci (p=0,018), Menggabungkan ide-ide (p=0,018), Tingkat Hirarki (p=0,017), Konsep Presentasi (p=0,017).  Hasil uji dengan Wilcoxon Match Pairs terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan (p= 0,018 > 0,05) pada kreativitas siswa dalam membuat Mind Mapping sebelum dan sesudah menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe Group Investigation. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif  tipe Group Investigation berbasis Mind Mapping  mampu meningkatkan kreativitas siswa SMP Wisata Sanur.    Kata kunci : Group Investigation, Kreativitas, Mind Mapping
