The paper deals with the syntaxonomy of vegetation on the sandy outcrops in the Pechora (Malozemelskaya and Bolshezemelskaya) tundra. The vegetation was classified using the Brown-Blanke approach. Communities were referred to 3 associations: Arctostaphylo alpini—Empetretum hermaphroditi (Zinserling 1935) Koroleva 1994, Elymo—Festucetum arenariae (Regel 1923) Nordhagen 1955 and Rumici graminifoliae—Festucetum sabulosae ass. nov. Five new variants were suggested within the first association and 2 subassociations and 4 variants within the last one. Syntaxon description and phytocoenological tables are presented. The vegetation on each sandy outcrops represents a complex of communities fragmentary located on the scars area. Subass. inops of ass. Rumici graminifoliae—Festucetum sabulosae is more common in the Ortina river basin and occurs at the bottom of blowing hollows. Syntaxa of ass. Elymo—Festucetum arenariae and var. Festuca rubra of ass. Rumici graminifoliae—Festucetum sabulosae are situated at the mobile sands in the central part, while var. Arctous alpina of ass. Rumici graminifoliae—Festucetum sabulosae occurs on a periphery of outcrops where substratum is stable. The variants inops and typicum of ass. Arctostaphylo alpini—Empetretum hermaphroditi occuring in the Sedujyakha river basin occur mostly in the centre of sandy outcrops, and the other ones can be met on their periphery. Ecological conditions determine poor diversity of syntaxa of the association level. Geographical position (the Sedujyakha river basin belongs to the northern hypoarctic tundras, the Ortina river basin — to the southern hypoarctic ones), geomorphology (in the first site — tops of hills and ridges, in the second one — watershed areas) and area of sandy outcrops (200—3000 m2 for the first and 61000—418000 m2 for the second site respectively) are the reasons for the less diverse communities found in each study site. A great number of variants is conditioned by succession stages of vegetation and instability of the substrates.

The events that took place in the first half of 2020 once again demonstrated how countries in the modern globalizing world are interdependent and interconnected: what is happening in one part of the planet inevitably affects other states, regardless of their geographical position. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is no exception. The crisis that arose because of the outbreak of the coronavirus infection hit the country’s infant economic system, disrupting the government’s ambitious plans to modernize and transform the kingdom. In this connection, it is of great scientific interest to study changes in the internal political course of the monarchy of the Persian Gulf, consider and analyze feasible scenarios for the further development of the country.

In this study, navigational risk factors of the Arctic Ocean are defined and numerical weights of each risk are obtained by using Improved Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (IF-AHP) method after conducting expert consultations. The Northern Sea Route shortens the maritime distance approximately 7000 nautical miles comparing to the conventional Suez Canal route. Therefore, it takes a significant role of being economic and time advantage for global logistics. Its geographical position, presence of ice, heavy weather conditions, strong currents and winds are some risks for Arctic transportation. There always have the possibility of unpredictable catastrophes such as a collision, grounding, hull damage and etc. in this region. Reflections of such unwanted incidents might be very costly for economic, political, environmental and safety concerns. Due to there are limited academic studies regarding to analytical and systematical risk identification and determination of risk levels, this study contributes to complete this academic gap.

ABSTRACT If the averages of the reciprocal phase velocity c−1 of a given Rayleigh or Love mode over various great circular or great semicircular paths are known, information can be extracted about how c−1 varies with geographical position. Assuming that geometrical optics is applicable, it is shown that if c−1 is isotropic its great circular averages determine only the sum of the values of c−1 at antipodal points and not their difference. The great semicircular averages determine the difference as well. If c−1 is anisotropic through any cause other than the earth's rotation, even great semicircular averages do not determine c−1 completely. Rotation has negligible effect on Love waves, and if it is the only anisotropy present its effect on Rayleigh waves can be measured and removed by comparing the averages of c−1 for the two directions of travel around any great circle not intersecting the poles of rotation. Only great circular and great semicircular paths are considered because every earthquake produces two averages of c−1 over such paths for each seismic station. No other paths permit such rapid accumulation of data when the azimuthal variations of the earthquakes' radiation patterns are unknown. Expansion of the data in generalized spherical harmonics circumvents the fact that the explicit formulas for c−1 in terms of its great circular or great semicircular integrals require differentiation of the data. Formulas are given for calculating the generalized spherical harmonics numerically.

The genetic divergence among 36 genotypes of bitter gourd (Momordica charantia L.) was determined through PCA, PCO, CVA, Cluster analysis (CLSA) and Mohalanobis’s D2 analysis. Through multivariate analysis based on 22 characters 36 genotypes were grouped into six distant clusters. Cluster VI includes maximum genotypes (12) followed by cluster I (6) and cluster II (6). Cluster V, cluster III and cluster I comprised 5, 4 and 3 genotypes respectively. The inter-cluster distances were higher than the intra-cluster distances. The inter-cluster distance was maximum between cluster III and IV (28.71) followed by the distance between cluster I and cluster IV (23.61). The intra-cluster distances in all the 6 clusters were more or less low indicating the closeness of genotypes within the same cluster. The highest intra-cluster distance was observed for cluster III (1.84) followed by the cluster I (1.38). The genotypes within the same clusters were collected from different places and genotypes collected in the same place fall in different cluster, which indicated that genetic divergence are not dependent on its geographical position from where the genotypes were collected. The genetic diversity of 36 genotypes was also assessed through PCA. The first three components accounted for 60.04% of the total variation. Days to first male flower opening, number of primary branches per vine, fruit yield per vine, days to green fruit maturity, seed weight per fruit mature seed width had the highest contribution towards the divergence. Cluster diagram exhibited that the genotypes include in the cluster III were far diverse from the genotypes of cluster IV while the genotypes belonging to the cluster II and VI were least diversed. To elucidate the relationship between stable isotopes of precipitation (SIP) and the extreme drought in Kunming area, based on the stable isotopes data of the GNIP in Kunming site from 1986 to 2003, the precipitation line equation is brought forward and the seasonal change rule of stable isotopes are discussed. The stable isotopic compositions of precipitation exhibit great diversities in different seasons during to influences of multiple factors, such as monsoon, rainfall amount moisture source and others. The δ18O values in rainwater exhibit significant seasonal variations, the average of-10.12‰ in rainy season, the dry season is-4.5‰, having lower values in the rainy season and higher one in the dry season. The amount effect of precipitation is very distinct, that concealed the temperature effect. Got the special geographical position, dvalues present unique characteristics, the average ofdvalues is 10.78‰ in rainy season, and is 4.86‰ in dry season, the mean value is generally lower than most parts of the world.

The public in China have a vague notion of architecture energy conservation, additionally the various and complex geographical position and climate, so the problem of architectural energy dissipation has deteriorated. In terms of architectural energy conservation, this design wholly considered energy conservation and emission reduction in the whole life cycle. The theory of “nonexistence-existence-nonexistence” should be carried out practically and low-carbon, ecological kindergarten will be founded in Huainan by studying and taking advantage all kinds of reasonable energy conservation technology. We should exert a subtle influence on cultivating children’s sense of energy conservation and emission reduction in order to make it be popular in the society which treats children as center.
