The dynamics of socio-economic, personal and career advancement aspects were analysed from 75 information and communication technology (ICT) women professionals, from 7 various ICT organisations from Bengaluru, India. ICT industry continues to be the largest private sector employer in India for women in that 800,000 women currently working in this sector account for over 30 per cent of the existing hires and this figure is all set to rise in the future. The characteristics of the ICT industry in India and the nature of the work pose some unique challenges for women professionals in the industry. This study focuses on how does work and family related factors influence the work life balance and work conflict of women professionals. It is very evident that career oriented women has to manage / balance work & life due to stereotypic roles played. ICT women professionals have agreed that their career advancement is influenced by work or personal life enhancement. ICT Women Professionals have said that they have been affected by gender through various reasons on work interferences with personal life & career advancement. It is evident that there is a concern among women professionals working in shifts and it does bring in work on family conflict & family on work conflict.There is a very high significant relationship between Work Life Balance (WLB) and Work Life Conflict (WLC). Even when there is a support from the family, the individual undergoes conflict on not managing both sides effectively.WLB & WLC is a significant factor leading to overall performance of the ICT Women Professionals.They should possess strong work role salience since work helps define the career-cantered professional’s self- concept, which should further intensify the potential incompatibility between the work and life domains.

Working from home was an increasing phenomenon to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Although WFH has been expendable well documented, there are still limited studies related to the subject of life balance, happiness and organizational support. This study aimed to figure out; 1) The influence of work from home on work-life balance, 2) The influence of work-life balance on happiness, 3) The moderating role of organizational supports towards work from home and work-life balances. The respondents used in this research were the 94 lecturers who worked in Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The study was done in a quantitative method through cross-sectional data and non-probability sampling method. The analysis model used was Path Analysis, Moderated Regression Analysis and Simple Regression test. The result of this research indicates that WFH has positive effects on WLB and WLB has positive effects on employee happiness. The testing done on moderating effect appeared that organizational support does not moderate the effects of WFH on WLB. Apart from that, theoretical and practical implications were also given in this research.

Discussion on workers’ work-life balance has been ongoing since the 1980s. However, less is known about work-life balance amongst university academics especially on the role of job autonomy and self-efficacy in influencing it. The current paper investigates the influence of job autonomy towards academics’ work-life balance. Also, it examines the role of self-efficacy as a moderator in between this relationship. This study employed a quantitative method using the cross-sectional design using data on 307 responses to test these propositions. Using AMOS 23 and SPSS23, we established evidences on the positive influence of job autonomy towards academics’ work-life balance. That is, high job autonomy linked to higher work-to-family enrichment and lesser work-to-family conflict occurrences. Besides, work-to-family enrichment was found higher when self-efficacy level was high, confirming the moderating role of self-efficacy. This study contributes to a greater understanding on the influence of both job autonomy and self-efficacy towards academics’ work-life balance in terms of enrichment and conflict occurrences. It also affirms the constructive effects of self-efficacy to enhance the relationship between job autonomy and work-to-family enrichment. Findings from this study may be used to assist various human resource practitioners, researchers, and higher education institutions to build relevant policies to further support sustainable work-life balance practices within educational institutions.

Purpose: Customer Satisfaction is the top priority in all business sectors, so the effect of different variables was evaluated on customer satisfaction which is taken as the dependent. Independent variable is e-Payment, Logistic Service Quality, and e-Traceability. Moderating Role was studied of the Use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology). Methodology: This research was carried out on the logistic companies of major cities of Pakistan, including Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, and Karachi. The data was cross-sectional in nature and with the involvement of different geographical locations, data collection took a longer time. 400 questionnaires were distributed among the workers of logistic firms in the above-mentioned big cities of Pakistan. Only 298 responses were acquired out of which 258 were workable. Data were analyzed using SPSS-23. Main Findings: Findings reveal that the moderating role of ICT is insignificant on the relationship between e-Payment and Customer Satisfaction and the use of ICT enhances the Service Quality of Logistics and Customer Satisfaction. The beneficiary of the current research would be the logistics firms of Pakistan as it encompasses different aspects influencing logistic customer satisfaction. Logistic service quality is directly linked to the customer, so the current study can benefit the logistic firm in how to retain customers and ultimately how to increase profitability. Implications/Applications: Current research also describes the utilization of Information and Communication Technology so organizations can design their system according to the modern framework of technology. Novelty/Originality of this study: This research study is based on different logistic services of major cities of Pakistan. The direct impact of independent variables on a dependent variable will be studied along with the moderating effect of Use of ICT on the direct relationships. The practice of logistic services has been changed due to the emergence of the concept of service quality and relationship marketing. Traditionally, logistics has been thought to be a bridge between production and consumption.
