Practicum Teaching has never been easy for most students. They have to undergo many courses before having the real practicum teaching. Balancing between the performance and competence finally is not totally a piece of cake in terms of real teaching. Lacks of skill in designing lesson plans, creating teaching material and managing classroom are occasionally become e great obstacle for pre-service teachers. And what makes it worse is they do not know well about the implementation of K-13 in teaching English in high schools. As a new implemented curriculum, pre-service teachers should struggle to apply this curriculum well in their teaching. This study investigates teachers‟ voices over K-13 and what strategies or approaches that teachers of English do to develop the quality of instruction in the classroom. Findings showed that mostly teachers of English are very welcome in implementing K-13 but in some conditions (for government to notice) , such as providing more trainings and bridging courses for teachers especially in suburbs, adding more free text books for unprivileged students, and so on.

The focus of this research is to design geometry learning mediain junior high schools based on RME and integrated with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) using 3D Pageflip Proffesional,and to explain quality of the learning media. In the process of design and development of this media used is the ADDIE development model which begins with the stages analysis, design, development, and  carried out an evaluation in each stages. Implementation stages will be continued in the following years research. This research resulted in a product in the form of geometry learning media in junior high schools especially eight grade according to purpose. Based on the validity test and practicality test the results obtained from the validation by material experts and media design experts were 4.09 namely 81.8% and 4.21 or 84.2%.Based on the criteria for the validity of the instrument, the criteria for "very valid" were obtained. And the practicality results, namely the results of teacher response questionnaire obtained an average of 4.26 or 85.19%, and the results of student questionnaire responses were 4.07 or 81.4%. Then based on the percentage criteria of practicality of the instrument, it is found that the criteria are very practical and the media can be implemented with minor revisions.

It seems that educational system in Nigeria has undergone only quantitative improvement in terms of number of schools and students’ enrolment. However, there has been little effort in respect to the capacity to manage them through provisions of adequate financial, human, material and physical resources. Physical and material resources in secondary schools were discovered to be inadequate and poorly equipped. Some of the secondary school buildings were dilapidated, also the allocated financial resource, teaching and non-teaching staff are grossly inadequate compared with the students’ enrolment. The public, the Ministry of Education and other stakeholders in education are expressing serious concern about the consistency of the poor performance of secondary school students especially in mathematics. Increase in population and the government’s free education programs make people want to take advantage of the education provided. Provision of both professionally qualified and non-qualified teachers by government and non-state providers of education also appear not to ameliorate the problem of declining performances in mathematics. The effect of all these on the public secondary school student academic performance in mathematics concern the researchers of this study. It is against this background that the study sought to empirically investigates effect of resource factors and quality of instruction on performance in mathematics of Nigeria secondary school students.

There are over 300 high schools in the Republic of Moldova, most of which do not have 10-12th parallel classes, many of which also lead to the lack of qualified teachers in some subjects, which has a negative impact on the quality of students education. The optimization of the high school network can be achieved by keeping only about 100 of their existing number, planning them in new type institutions: district high-schools, boarding schools and mixed high schools of both these categories.
