. Environmental pollution affects population health depending on the extension and the degree of exposure to environmental factors. In most cases it is difficult to obtain an accurate situation of exposure of population to harmful factors. Health status is determined by: human biology, ecological factors, the socio-economic situation of each person, and the quality of medical services. In according to regional peculiarities the interdependence of those factors could vary, but not significantly. The environmental risks are everywhere but diminishing them may improve the health status of the population.

Article is based on the research activities in the Lower Raut region in the period 2014-2018. Main goal of studies performed was preparing of nutrient balances and development of management papers for nutrient reduction. A number of samples were collected to analyze nutrient content in the components of environment for calculations of nutrient loads in the region. Nutrient balances included data on its content in superficial runoff from different parts of the Orhei municipality such as: transport, industrial and living areas. Vulnerable sites of the town were identified and relevant measures proposed to reduce impact of pollution.

The early manifestation of the seasons and seasonal temperature's increasing trend for all seasons require adequate solutions of adaptation to climate change. Knowledge of the spatio-temporal variability of climatic parameters that characterize the seasons, focusing on the last decades - a period of time when climatic variability is even more pronounced compared to previous periods, is of particular interest. Analysis of the density of the seasonal average temperature distribution function indicates a shift to the right for the values, which demonstrates warming trend for all the seasons. The highest accelerated rhythm belongs to winters and summers, and in this context the duration of the seasons and the accumulation of daily temperatures with a certain thermal threshold is also changing.

The influence of urban constructions of Orhei city on illumination level of adjacent phytocenoses was studied. It was established that increased shade of territory leads to shift of distribution maximum of concrete flora to arctic direction, distortion of seasonal aspects and changing demographic structure of dominant species populations.

Anthropogenic activities cause damage to the natural ecosystems in the city in various ways, which contributes to the reduction of biodiversity. Considering that biodiversity is becoming more vulnerable to the impact action triggered by urban activities is necessary to monitor it in order to take urgent measures to protect and preserve it. The plant biodiversity study methodology includes methods that help determine phytocenosis parameters and assess biomass in order to estimate the productive potential of phytocenosis. Carrying out the research according to the proposed methodology will make it possible to assess the anthropogenic impact on the terrestrial and riparian vegetation.

Regardless of the fact that both urban ecosystems studied – Orhei and Telenești – have purification stations, they are still an essential source of surface water pollution. The aqueous soil extract (Telenești) has a pH value of 8 up to 9.8 due to the high content of calcium and potassium in the soil, due to the fact that the area under investigation has a specific character caused by the spread of solonetz-type soils, solonized chernozems, and salinated soils. The anthropogenic impact in urban ecosystems produces an imbalance in the ratio of spontaneous species and ruderal and ruderal-segetal species. The number of spontaneous species is the indicator of the degree of anthropization in urban ecosystems. Urban ecosystems have a major impact on the environment.

The forests on the natural distribution area from the silvosteppe zone, under the influence of climate change will experience major changes in their structure and functioning. The analysis of growth parameters for Fraxinus excelsior, Quercus petraea, Q. robur in three experimental areas from center of the Republic of Moldova indicates that the radial growth processes are influenced by the same complex of climatic factors, which differ being dendroclimatic response intensity. It has been shown that between the annual tree growth and forest aridity index - FAI, there are close correlations: the higher FAI values indicate the lower annual growth of the trees, and vice versa, low FAI values identify good development conditions of the stands (higher increases in the annual ring width).

There are over 300 high schools in the Republic of Moldova, most of which do not have 10-12th parallel classes, many of which also lead to the lack of qualified teachers in some subjects, which has a negative impact on the quality of students education. The optimization of the high school network can be achieved by keeping only about 100 of their existing number, planning them in new type institutions: district high-schools, boarding schools and mixed high schools of both these categories.

The article displays the values of the nitrate pollution index of the Natural Hydrological Monuments water. Considered contaminated due human activities (20 mg/L NO3 - ) with the very significant pollution rating is MNH water from Copceac village; significantly polluted - from Hagimus village; 5 monuments have moderately polluted water; 18 - poorly polluted water and in 6 of them water is not polluted. Using the 25 mg/L NO3 - concentration as a reference, with significant pollution is water from MNH Copceac; in 2 - moderately polluted water; in 18 - poorly polluted water and in 10 MNH water is not polluted.

Following from long investigations of more than 50 populations of amphibians from the Republic of Moldova and Italy were elucidated ecological particularities and evolutionary reproductive behavior of some species of Caudata and Anura Orders. For the first time, on Autecological & Sinecological level, has been made assessment of nuptial systems of amphibians – of parental contribution, reproductive success, „r” & „K” reproductive strategies and their role in sexual selection and evolution the attainment of reproductive potential as a fundamental mechanism of survival of amphibian populations in various ambient conditions.
