En todas las grandes urbes a nivel mundial el control del flujo vehicular se ha convertido en un problema, dado que la misma labor de control contribuye a la congestión reinante. Esto nos llevó a buscar un sistema control vehicular que fuera ágil, etéreo y efectivo. La propuesta se basa en el diseño e implementación de un prototipo de aplicación, construido sobre el sistema operativo Android utilizando tecnología NFC. Para el logro de este prototipo fue necesario implementar una arquitectura de software tipo cliente servidor, teniendo en cuenta que el sistema contó con elementos de servicios web, una página web y un aplicativo móvil, los cuales internamente se basan en diversos aspectos tecnológicos; de igual forma, la tecnología NFC hace que se pueda obtener información de manera simple. A partir de estos factores fue posible obtener una versión funcional de este aplicativo.Design and implementation of a prototype RFID system to verify vehicle informationABSTRACTIn all the greatest cities worldwide, the control of the traffic flow has become in a huge problem because the control task contributes to the prevailing congestion. This took us to look for a vehicular control system that would be agile, ethereal and effective. The proposal is based in the design and implementation of an application builded in the operative system Android using the NFC technology. For the success of this project was necessary to implement an client – server architecture, considering that the system uses web services, web pages and a mobile application, each one is based on technological aspects and NFC technology, that makes possible getting information in a simple way. This paper mainly studies the design and implement of mobile meter reading system based on SOA. The mobile terminal can save offline power reading data in its local database and communicate online recorded data with the server through Web service interface based on the internet. The Web service components perform interaction with the database server. This system is developed by using programming language Java and embedded database SQLite on Android platform. This mobile application can be available to download customers' data from the server or update new meter reading data to the server and then the operators can accomplish their works conveniently during the interviewing with the customers without going back to the office.

This paper presents design and implementation of a personal intelligent home media center. The primary goal was to increase the quality of life with the use of ambient intelligence in smart homes. The solution presented here uses client-server architecture with network-attached storage for storing all multimedia contents. Sensors are used to identify person?s presence and ambient intelligence techniques to recommend the most suitable multimedia content to end-users. The major advantages of this personal intelligent home media center are speed, intelligence, inexpensive components and scalability. The implementation was done in within one home media center, for the evaluation purposes.

In this paper, we put forward a technique for keeping web pages up-to-date, later used by search engine to serve the end user queries. A major part of the Web is dynamic and hence, a need arises to constantly update the changed web documents in search engine’s repository. In this paper we used the client-server architecture for crawling the web and propose a technique for detecting changes in web page based on the content of the images present if any in web documents. Once it is being identified that the image embedded in the web document is changed then the previous copy of the web document present in the search engine’s database/repository is replaced with the changed one.

This article is devoted to the issue of designing an augmented reality information system with a «client-server» architecture. The advantage of creating augmented reality information systems with type of architecture is the ability to quickly place content on a remote server and then display it through a client mobile application. Thus, a simplified user’s interaction with augmented reality content is provided. The work reflects the main stages of designing an information system with the specified type of architecture.

Broadband trunking communication system has been widely used with a variety of industries, such as public transportation security and navigation, etc. Trunking communication is a branch of mobile communication. Because the client of traditional dispatch services based on C/S (client/server) architecture need to install the client software, this paper studies and designs one dispatch client, which is based on B/S (browser/server) architecture.
