Improve Teacher Community Knowledge on Creating Instructional Video as Media Center based on Social-Network in SMPN 20 Jakarta

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, learning activities turn into online. Online learning requires a media that can maximize the delivery of material and thus students can understand independently. Teachers should improve their ability to use information technology and creativ to create a good learning video which is worth to upload and deserves copyright recognition. The method is to provide the mentorship. Mentorship purpose is to assist teachers to produce learning videos that are suitable being uploaded on YouTube and receive recognition of the copyrighted videos. As a result of these mentorships, the participants succeed in creating a learning video with a variety of material topics which can be uploaded in Youtube and receive recognition of copyright ownership. Thereafter, the school can manage independently and continue to enrich content of school's YouTube channel and increase the number of copyright for teacher's video works.

Peran Solo Bersimfoni dalam Mengimplentasikan Pendidikan Karakter Generasi Z di Kota Surakarta

Abstrak: Fenomena digitalisasi di era revolusi industri 4.0 menjadikan generasi muda terperosok ke dalam nilai-nilai budaya yang tidak sesuai dengan identitas lokal. Berita-berita hoax yang mengandung unsur radikal, ekstrem, dan intoleran semakin marak dikemas dalam platform digital. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Solo Bersimfoni dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter berbasis local culture kepada generasi Z. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus intrinsik kualitatif. Subjek penelitian yaitu pengurus dan relawan Solo Bersimfoni, serta guru pendamping dan pelajar tim media center dari Sekolah Adipangastuti di Kota Surakarta yang menjadi percontohan dalam penerapan nilai Hasthalaku. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh bahwa Solo Bersimfoni berperan sebagai agent of change dalam menghidupkan kembali nilai-nilai budaya kearifan lokal yang dinamakan sebagai Hasthalaku. Upaya Solo Bersimfoni dalam menanamkan nilai Hasthalaku pada generasi Z antara lain: (1) turut mendorong regulasi kepemudaan, (2) turut mendorong Gerakan Revolusi Mental, (3) Capacity Building generasi muda, dan (4) meningkatkan literasi digital.

Manajemen Krisis Satgas Penanggulangan Bencana PT. Banten Wet Java Tourism Development

The purpose of this study was to determine the crisis management of PT. Banten West Java Tourism Development's post-tsunami disaster management task force. The theory used was situational of the public, using a qualitative approach with the case study method. The data collection techniques used were non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews and post-disaster documentation. tsunamis. The results of the study explained that the public focused on disasters, so the disaster management task force planned by forming a special communication team and Media Center, then working with Perum Damri Serang and the Central BMKG, as well as installing the Earthquake Early System (EEWS). Planning and communication actions taken, to attract the public as tourists visiting for vacation in Tanjung Lesung without any sense of trauma followed by interesting events. UPAYA PERBAIKAN DALAM MENENTUKAN AKAR MASALAH PADA GURU DENGAN MENGUNAKAN TOOLS DALAM MANAJEMEN MUTU TERPADU DI SMK NATIONAL MEDIA CENTER KOTA MALANG

Abstrak: Dalam meningkatkan manajemen mutu terpadu erat kaitannya dengan problematika sumber daya manusia yang terjadi di SMK National Media Center Malang. Analisis ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang terdapat di sekolah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara dan analisis menggunakan diagram pohon dan 5 why’s. Hasil dari penelitian ini dihasilkan berdasarkan temuan masalah di sekolah mengenai motivasi kerja guru yang masih rendah. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut sekolah diharapkan dapat menyikapi permasalahan dengan penyelesaian yang tepat. Kata kunci: Manajemen, Mutu, Pendidikan.

Implementation of Sharia Economy as a Model of Community Empowerment Mosque-Based

The mosque has a very strategic function in the Islamic community both as a place of worship and a media center for holistic development of people. This study describes the function of the mosque as the center of community empowerment activities and the factors that influence it in it. The research method uses qualitative descriptive methods through interviews, field notes, and documentation. The research site is Masjid at-Taqwa Harapan Permai Telagawaru Housing West Lombok. The results showed that Masjid Raya At- Taqwa Housing Harapan Permai Telagawaru West Lombok, represents a mosque that is able to revive the spirit of community empowerment movement in the field of religious spiritual, economic, educational, social, and cultural arts development. The success of mosque-based community empowerment activities in at-Taqwa Mosque is supported by adequate human resources depicted in the organizational structure of the ideal mosque management council and supported by effective communication capabilities of the da'i. This study recommends the importance of professionalism in the management of mosques and the importance of managing effective communication with both congregations and other stakeholders. This research enriches the study of the development of Islamic society, especially in the empowerment of mosque-based communities.

Perancangan Sistem Keamanan File Transfer Protocol Dengan Secure Socket Layer Pada Server Centos 7

An advancement in communication technology currently has an influence on developments in data management in the joints of life, making the need for a media center something a must in digital archive storage. Data will not always be stored in personal computers, but it would be better if there was a centralized data container to be a solution in storage media, in order to prevent data loss or data backup. The term network (network) is used when there are at least two or more devices that are connected to one another. To carry out data exchange in this network, a protocol is used that specifies how data is exchanged, and one of the most widely used protocols is the File Transfer Protocol (FTP). FTP is generally useful as a means of exchanging files or data in a network. The FTP protocol is not secure enough, because when data transfer there is no security to protect it. Therefore the FTP protocol is necessary for additional security, by implementing the SSL security protocol or Secure Socket Layer Security protecting the FTP protocol during data transfer. SSL certificates are used for the purpose of handling the security of data packets transmitted over the network system. When SSL is activated, the server and client when the connection occurs will be encrypted so that the data cannot be seen by others. Keywords: FTP; Network; Server; SSL Abstrak: Suatu Kemajuan teknologi komunikasi saat ini memiliki pengaruh terhadap perkembangan didalam pengelolaan data didalam sendi kehidupan, membuat kebutuhan akan media center menjadi sesuatu yang harus dalam penyimpanan arsip digital. Data tidak selamanya akan tersimpan di dalam personal computer saja tetapi akan lebih baik jika ada wadah data terpusat menjadi solusi dalam media penyimpanan, agar menjaga dari kehilangan data atau cadangan data. Istilah jaringan (network) dipakai apabila terdapat minimal dua atau lebih perangkat yang terhubungkan satu dengan yang lainnya. Untuk melaksanakn pertukaran data didalam jaringan ini, digunakan protocol yang menspesifikasikan bagaimana data dipertukarkan, dan salah satu protocol yang banyak digunakan adalah File Transfer Protocol (FTP). FTP umumnya bermanfaat sebagai sarana pertukaran file atau data dalam suatu network. Protokol FTP tidaklah cukup aman, dikarenakan ketika transfer data tidak ada keamanan untuk melindunginya. Maka dari itu protokol FTP perlu untuk penambahan keamanan, dengan menerapkan protokol keamanan SSL atau Secure Socket Layer Security melindungi protokol FTP pada saat transfer data. Sertifikat SSL dimanfaatkan untuk keperluan menangani keamanan paket data yang ditransmisikan melalui sistem jaringan. Ketika SSL diakatifkan, maka server dan client ketika terjadi koneksi akan ter enkripsi sehingga data yang ada tidak dapat untuk dilihat oleh orang lain. Kata kunci: FTP;Network; Server; SSL

Co-Designing Meaningful Dialogues on Sexual Harassment

We live in a dysfunctional world led by white-male dominated, patriarchal and capitalist societies that perpetuate continuous oppression. The public space is culturally perceived as a man’s world while women have been traditionally confined to the private one. Because claiming a safe public space for all is a political act, I want to actively cultivate a creative experience that facilitates dialogue, ideation and agency for self-identified women to reclaim their right to exist safely in it. My paper will focus on this creative experience, as a collective resistance, that started in Gainesville, FL at the Civic Media Center and has now become an ongoing, online and worldwide endeavour.

Not Extinct! School Libraries for Learning and Leadership

Library Media Center 2000 focuses on school library services, technology, training and advocacy—restructuring information and meeting learning needs: linguistic, cultural, multimedia. Over the last three years, San Francisco library media teachers have engaged in a process of professional development opportunities, networking and communication. In a district that has experienced massive cutbacks in library media services, library media teachers have encouraged and supported each other while learning to use new technologies, and sharing areas of expertise and resources.

The School Library Web Site: On the Information Highway or Stalled in the Carpark

Based on research conducted by the author in 1996 and 1999, this paper discusses theoretical issues and provides an overview of the purposes for which school libraries are creating and maintaining home pages or Web sites. The research has implications for those who are planning a Web page or site for their school library/media center; among other things, it provides information about what other school libraries/media centers have done and suggests some pitfalls that might be avoided It also suggests areas for further study, notably the possible development of a model that might be used for the evaluation of school library Web sites.
