This research studies the effect of energy at work, internal-external informal communication and perceived organisational support on extra role behaviour. The population of survey included teachers (479 teachers at 25 elementary and middle schools) at The Ministry of National Education located in the Burdur in Turkey. Research method is a survey with a questionnaire and participants has been reached with the convenience sampling method. Two model (purposed and revised) was examined by structural equation model approach. According to the findings, internal informal communication increases energy at work, and therefore, energy at work has a considerably positive effect on extra role behaviour. Besides that, perceived organisational support has seriously positive effect on internal informal communication. As inferred from these findings, the increase of perceived organisational support will also increase internal informal communication, and the increase of communication will enable lecturers to be more energetic, and hence, such energy will trigger lecturers to make extra efforts for their organizations.

Perceived organisational support (POS) refers to an employee's perception concerning the degree to which organisational management values their contributions and cares about their wellbeing. Despite the influence of culture on organisational behaviour, there is still a paucity of culture-comparative studies. The study investigated POS from a cross-national perspective with Ghanaian and Finnish industrial workers. We hypothesised and tested a model predicting differences on POS using a cross-sectional data of Ghanaian (N = 320) and Finnish (N = 520) industrial workers. The data were collected with Eisenberger, Fasolo, and LaMastro's (1990) Survey of Perceived Organizational Support. Correlational analyses, t-test and hierarchical regression analyses were used to test four hypotheses. The relationships between employee demographic factors and POS were also analysed. The hierarchical regression analysis revealed worker demographic variables as impacting more significantly on POS among Ghanaian workers. Contrary to our expectations, Ghanaian workers perceived more managerial support than their Finnish counterparts. Structural equation modelling revealed job satisfaction as a mediator in these relationships. Path analysis performed to identify specific variables that were moderated by culture revealed organisational position and job satisfaction as potential variables. The theoretical and practical implications of the study are discussed.

Fraud is a unique crime committed by many people in various activities including in the tax sector that resulted in losses to the state. A research conducted in 2015 aimed at examining the factors that influence the taxpayer compliance in paying taxes with knowledge of fraud as a moderating variable. This research used Banguntapan city taxpayers as respondents. Sample collection method in this research used the convenience sampling method. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of this research prove that tax sanctions, service quality, and tax penalties have a positive effect on taxpayer compliance. The results of this research also prove that taxpayer knowledge does not positively affect the taxpayer compliance and also prove that the taxpayer interaction and knowledge of fraud have a positive effect on their tax paying compliance. So the implications of this research expect that tax authorities can apply tax laws in which including sanctions and taxes penalties evenly in each level of the taxpayers and improvement of services in the field of taxation in the form of provision of information to the taxpayers.Fraud is a unique crime committed by many people in various activities including in the tax sector that resulted in losses to the state. Purpose – The objective of this study is to identify the factors that affect CoP activation and performance variables obtainable through CoP activities, and to gain greater insight into their relationships and the mechanisms. In particular, this paper intends to illustrate the role of perceived risk factor for the loss of uniqueness of one's own knowledge in terms of their influence on CoP activities. Design/methodology/approach – In this study, the human behaviours were divided into online and offline CoP activities and adopted affirmative affect and social norm from the Triandis model. In addition, the paper considered perceived expectation, perceived risk, and organization support as independent variables. These would accelerate online and offline activities in the community of practice. The paper considered relationship commitment and individual performance in the context of performance evaluations via CoP activities. A structural equation model was developed with research variables and hypotheses. Findings – As the consequence of the empirical assessment of the variables influencing the on/offline activities of a CoP, social norm, perceived expectation, perceived risk, and organizational support showed significantly influential relationships with online activities, and affirmative affect, perceived expectation, and organizational support evidenced significantly influential relationships with offline activities. However, with regard to online CoP activities, affirmative affect was not shown to be significant. As to offline activities, perceived risk was not shown to be significantly influential, while it was determined to significantly influence online activities in a negative direction. Originality/value – The results of this study demonstrated that on/offline CoP activities were significantly influential in terms both of relationship commitment and individual performance.

Objective - This paper examines the influence of Good University Governance ('GUG') on Human Capital ('HC') and Quality, as well as the influence of CUG on HC through the use of Quality . Methodology/Technique - This research uses an explanatory survey design. The data was collected by visiting state and private universities in Indonesia that offer an S1 Accounting Study Program. Twenty cities were covered and responses to 70 questionnaires were processed. The influence of GUG on HC was analysed using a Structural Equation Model (SEM). Findings - The study found that GUG has a significant positive effect on Quality and GUG has a significant positive effect on HC. However, the influence of Quality on HC and the indirect influence of GUG on HC through Quality were negatively significant. Overall, the total influence of GUG on HC was positively significant. Novelty - This study suggests that GUG improves HC and the Quality of services in Indonesian universities. However, improved quality of HC seems to lead to a deterioration in the quality of university services. Further, quality of services fails to mediate the influence of GUG on HC. Type of Paper: Empirical Keywords: Good University Governance; Human Capital; Quality; S1 Accounting Study Program; Universities; Indonesia. JEL Classification: O15, I23, J24.
