Digital start-up is one part of the creative economy that is currently growing rapidly in Malang town. Looking at this rapidly changing environment in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, it is important for digital start-ups to improve dynamic capabilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of design thinking and entrepreneurial orientation on dynamic digital start-up capabilities. A total of 100 start-up actors have been selected as research samples. Quantitative data collected through questionnaires were analyzed using PLS analysis. The results showed that both design thinking and market orientation had a great influence on dynamic digital start-up capabilities. The strongest factor in the design thinking is the emphatize process so that the ability of start-ups to feel the environment and understand customer needs and market dynamics better than competitors. While the strongest factor in entrepreneurship is the courage to act to achieve goals so that start-ups are able to face market competition. Suggestions for further research is need to focus on two weaknesses factors, there are, the process of ideas in conducting design thinking and the lack of initiative in initiating innovative actions, because the innovation today is urgently needed to win the market competition.

This study aims to examining the effect of financial literacy on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Malang. This explanatory study was conducted in Sukun District, Malang City. The population was SMEs that located in Sukun District, Malang City which were selected using proportionate stratified random sampling with the total number of 220 samples. The study used descriptive quantitative design with primary data as the data source. The data was analyzed using Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.3 Version with hypothesis tested using Bootstrap. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the financial literacy of the SMEs in Sukun District, Malang City was at a good literacy level which is Sufficient Literate; 2) the Small and Medium Enterprises in Sukun District has a good level of business performance; and Analysis of Smart PLS shows that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Sukun District, Malang. Therefore, financial literacy of the business owner has an important role in business performance. financial literacy can help business actors to gain adequate financial knowledge and capabilities in preparing their business financial strategies and improving their business performance

This study aims to construct a correlational model for the determinant of consumer purchase intention on environmentally friendly packaging beverage products by examining the product image and company reputation as mediators in the association of green perceived value on consumer purchase intention with the ex-post facto quantitative approach. The target population is the community in Malang City, EastJava who is aware of the existence of cardboard packaging beverage products and intends to purchase the products. Data were collected by employing a questionnaire distributed online. 300 respondents were selected by convenience sampling. The collected data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) by utilizing AMOS software. The final model was obtained with an adequate Goodness of Fit value.The structural model that has been successfully constructed shows that green perceived value has no significant effect on purchase intention. Besides, the product image and company reputation play a role in mediating the impact of Green Perceived Value on Purchase Intention.

This  study  is  to  test  the  effect  of hedonic shopping, shopping lifestyle to impulse buying online. This  research  sample  of  100 respondents,  taken  based  on  Purposive  Sampling .The  data analysis  uses PLSsoftware3.  This  path  analysis  technique  will  be  used  in  testing  the  amount  of contribution  shown  by  the  path  coefficient  on  each  path  diagram  of  the  causal  relationship between variables  Hedonic shopping (HS), Shopping Lifestyle (SL), on Impulse Buying (IB). Hedonic shopping support  have  a  positive  and  significant  effect  on impulse buying. Shopping lifestyle positif effect on impulse buying and shopping lifestyle able to mediate the effect between hedonic shopping on impulse buying. Hedonic shopping and shopping lifestyle had positively and significantly influenced the consumer’ responses to impulse buying.The findings of this study contribute to the theory of impulse buying online, namely hedonic shopping and shopping lifestyle important factors in realizing impulse buying online.

In modern days recruitment and selection practices has become a challenge within the developing countries. Various companies struggling with personnel challenges due to increasing competent applicants. The labor market focuses on factors affecting recruitment and selection practices on organizational performance and it becomes a challenge for corporate owners. Because of the fact, attracting qualified, skilled and experienced candidates is important and urgent. In this note, relative HR strategy practices bring changes to organizational growth and impact organizational and corporate performance. The purpose of research was to explore factors affecting the recruitment and practice of selection on the company's performance. However, this research provides useful insight into critical literature, evidence and contributes to finding gaps in recruitment and practice selection at the company's performance in particular state-owned enterprises. Therefore, these studies review past literature and secondary data gathered from different sources such as official publications from each authority, website, journal, and books. This critical review emphasized that the recruitment and selection practices were manipulated in the recruitment sector of state-owned enterprise. Therefore, the company faced great difficulties to provide a professional public service.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work discipline, leadership style, and training on device performance partially and simultaneously, and to analyze which variables had the most dominant influence on the performance of the employees of RSUD Haji Makassar. The sample of this study was 120 people, using saturated samples, with the method of multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The result showed that employee performance is influenced by work discipline, leadership style and training. The variable that has the most dominant influence on the performance of employees at RSUD Haji Makassar is training. Therefore, it is recommended to allocate funds for training activities and develop an incentive policy for fostering responsibility and employee integrity.

The development of the stock market has been dominated by individual. The decision-making process in investment actions is influenced by various individual characteristics and systematic factors are important elements that have an important influence on investors' financial decision making. Stock purchases can be influenced by attitudes, subjective norms and biases from past experiences. Stock investment is starting to be of interest to scholars. This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control on investment intentions in the capital market. The population that will be used as the research object is scholars in Malang, who have already been familiar with finance courses. The sampling method used was purposive sampling, namely determining the sample according to the research objectives. Data analysis is used to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable, which is analyzed using path analysis with PLS. The result show that attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control have an influence on the intention to invest in shares investment.

The goals of this study are want to explore the effect of the e-servicescape on private university’s website towards student’s intention to use the service. This study also wants to know about how does the effect of the e-servicescape towards perceived private university’s service quality, and how does the perceived private university’s service quality effect towards student’s intention to use that service. This study is explanatory research which is using a quantitative approach. A survey using a questionnaire was conducted to collect the data. Moreover, the data of this study was measure in 5 rates Likert’s scale and then analyzed using Partial Least Square Method with SmartPLS3 software. The population of this study are the students of a private university in Indonesia. The sample of this study is 165 students of a private university in Indonesia. Purposive sampling technique is used by criteria as follow, the respondent must be private university students and have been seen and looking about their university’s website when still school leavers back then. The result of this study is that there is a significant influence of the e-servicescape to the perceived service quality. Furthermore, perceived service quality also found to have a significant influence on the student’s intention to use the private university service. This study also found that e-servicescape only is not enough to influence the student’s intention to use the private university service, and must be mediated by perceived service quality.

This study aims to analyze the direct influence of leadership on learning organization, the influence of learning organization on employee performance, the influence of leadership on innovation, and the influence of innovation on employee performance. The population in this study was all employees of handicraft Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) in Malang City. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with a sample size of 50 respondents. The analysis used is path analysis using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results showed that leadership has an influence on the application of learning organization, learning organization has an effect on employee performance, leadership encourages employees to innovate, and the innovations can improve employee performance. The role of a leader to encourage employees to continue learning and innovating in SMEs will create a good impact on the performance of employees and SMEs.

This study aims to test the pecking order theory by looking at the level of cash flow sensitivity as a source of internal financing for all types of external financing (debt and equity). This testing also considering the financial constraint variable as moderation. The data used are the financial statements of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 - 2018. The dependent variable is all types of external financing (debt and equity). Debt financing is divided into two forms, short-term debt financing and long-term debt financing. While the independent variable is cash flow. The results obtained is that cash flow does not substitute all types of external financing, and the highest cash flow sensitivity occurs in short-term debt financing. The next result is that financial constraint strengthen the sensitivity of cash flow to debt and equity financing
