Mobile learning has become a common experience in higher education and in the professional workforce. However, the readiness of accounting students to engage in such learning appears to be weaker than in other disciplines. Therefore, this study set out to identify the factors affecting accounting students’ behavioural intention (BI) to accept mobile learning. The participants of this study were 358 accounting students of public universities in Malaysia. The study  was anchored in the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2 (UTAUT2) (Venkatesh, Thong & Xu, 2012), which has been employed by researchers in various research areas such as mobile payments, e-learning, mobile banking, and online shopping. The study revealed that habits have the most influence on accounting students’ intention to adopt mobile learning through an investigation of technology acceptance in the domain of mobile learning. From the perspective of universities, the study posits that consistent usage of mobile learning could be encouraged through processes to nurture students’ habits when using mobile learning system as a tool to complete tasks. Findings provide a reference for the future UTAUT2 and mobile learning related studies.

Mobile learning is presently taking part in associate degree more and more important role within the instructional method, additionally as within the development of teaching and learning ways for higher education. The power to find out ‘on the go– anytime, anywhere, is changing into more and more fashionable. The advantages offered by mobile learning are important. On the opposite hand, the implementation of mobile learning in educational activity relies on users’ acceptance of technology. Acceptance and intention to use mobile learning may be a topic of growing interest within the field of education. The model of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) is planned and developed by researchers via a mixture of eight major theories in activity prediction. UTAUT is among the foremost fashionable and up to date model in information technology acceptance. This is review paper aiming to review UTAUT’s previous studies of intention to use mobile learning. In conclusion, this research provides insight regarding the necessary factors for planning and designing an intention to use mobile learning model in higher education institutions.

Over the recent years, emerging technological applications have been used for making student learning more effective and interactive. M-Learning has been one such technological initiative which has shown promising benefits in the higher education context. Even though the importance of mobile learning has been researched by many, the factors influencing mobile learning adoption intention has not been addressed sufficiently, particularly in the Sri Lankan context. Hence, the purpose of this paper was to present a conceptual model to examine the factors influencing the intention to adopt mobile learning by the students engaged in higher education. Based on a comprehensive literature review, this study extended the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) (Davis, 1989) with mobile self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation to use mobile devices and the system quality of the m-Learning system. The model describes how the aforementioned factors influence the higher education students’ intention to adopt m-Learning via survey data collected from 151 postgraduate students. The findings suggest that the model explained the factors influencing the intention to adopt m-Learning among students in higher education. In detail, the mobile self -efficacy, system quality and intrinsic motivation significantly influenced the intention to adopt m-Learning. The results could be utilized for increasing the adoption of m-Learning practices and developing mobile applications useful for teaching and learning purposes. This study has incorporated three independent constructs in extending the TAM model; namely, system quality, mobile self-efficacy and intrinsic motivation. These were derived from the IS Success theory, Self-efficacy theory and Self-determination theory respectively. Accordingly, this study intends to address the theoretical gap in the higher education context pertaining to the adoption of mobile learning. Since Mobile Self-Efficacy and System Quality were the most significant factors that affect the perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, these factors should be given prominence when developing mobile enabled Learning Management Systems within institutions.

Mobile learning applications enable people to spend fragmented time to improve their knowledge and competitiveness. Enterprises aim to design innovative applications and create a new learning mode for the public, and the open innovation strategies may help companies achieve their goals. In the current study, the English learning application “LAIX” was investigated, and an online survey was used to obtain data from 289 university students in Guangzhou. This study combines the technology acceptance model (TAM) with flow theory (FT), investigating the psychological experience factors and the system characteristics that influence users’ behavior intentions. The exploration of perceptual variables will promote the establishment of an open innovation model of mobile learning applications. The aim of the study was to establish a theoretical framework to more deeply explore users’ intentions in mobile learning applications. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to help measure the relationship between variables and determine the model fit. This research reveals that telepresence is the most important variable that impacts user intentions to use mobile learning applications. In addition, the mediating effect of the flow experience was tested. Telepresence and interactivity indirectly influence behavioral intention through the variable “flow”. Users appear to be more concerned with the flow experience, which shows the highest correlation with intention to use the application. This study may assist companies to innovate system characteristics and improve customers’ user experience, for instance, by integrating virtual reality (VR) technology into the mobile learning system to improve their open innovation level and market popularity.

Technological developments have a major impact on user behavior. The rapidly evolving communication system and technology have provided numerous choices for people. The ever-shifting changes in the generation of communication networks have posed challenges for mobile network service providers to attract and retain customers. This study aims to prioritize the determinants of the adoption of mobile network service providers using the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT-2). In this study, data were collected from 660 mobile phone users in Haryana, India. A fuzzy analytical hierarchy process (F-AHP) was applied to arrange the priority or rank the factors based on the significance of the factors in explaining the adoption of mobile network service providers. Results of the study reveal that efforts expectancy is the highest-ranked and prioritized factor for the adoption of mobile network service providers followed by performance expectancy and facilitating conditions. However, social influence emerged as the least important factor. The present study provides theoretical implications for future researchers by synthesizing and prioritizing the important factors affecting technology acceptance. The practical implications offer a clearer insight to marketers for developing focused pragmatic strategies to retain customer loyalty. The study has considered only UTAUT-2 model constructs and used the F-AHP technique. Other factors may be considered in future studies. Other priority analysis techniques can also be used such as ISM and MICMAC analysis for further study. The research has been conducted in Haryana, India, and therefore, it needs to be tested in other areas/countries for generalizability. JEL Classification: O1, O2, O4

Technology has an important role in improving the quality of education. Learning that is supported by technological devices today seems obligatory to be used in line with the times. Even more varied learning that leads to independent learning for students. Independent learning for students requires teaching materials that can facilitate students in learning, one of which is web-based teaching materials. Web-based learning has been widely implementing in education. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence student interest in web-based learning in higher education using case studies. So that the data and information obtained can later be used as a foundation in the application of web-based learning that is more interesting and better than. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study. Factors that influence students' asking for web-based learning are: Web-based teaching materials are more comfortable to learn without having to print. The use of technology enables students to access knowledge anytime and anywhere. Interactions that occur in Web-based learning are more attractive, which allows students to be able to consult with lecturers at any time. The interface of web-based learning is exciting and not dull. Other factors can be sourced from the teaching style of lecturers, and so on. From several factors that influence student interest, it is also found that web-based learning can change the character of student learning more independently and more timely in the following knowledge and doing assignments given by lecturers.

FinTech, a compound term for financial technology, signifies the usage of technology to provide financial assistance. Ever since its evolution FinTech has been growing tremendously, despite its positive and negative aspects. In the literature review, there are many factors affecting the adoption of FinTech. It was found that the ease of use of technology (Technology Acceptance Theory), investment decisions in crowdfunding (Decision Theory), and the risks involved in the adoption of FinTech (Prospect Theory) are the main factors that might affect the adoption of FinTech. However, there is a paucity of studies linking all these factors in the adoption of FinTech using these theories. This research project investigates the influence of these factors in the adoption of FinTech. In order to analyze these factors, a questionnaire was used. As a result, it was found that there is a positive relationship between the ease of use and FinTech's adoption; between FinTech's adoption and investment decisions in crowdfunding and between the level of risks when adapting to FinTech. <p class="Abstract">Nowadays, the advancement of technology makes the life easier and convenience. Smart home is one of the technology provide a better life environment for the residents. The purpose of this study is to make a systematic and empirical study on the factors and model that influencing the intention to adopt smart home in Malaysia. Clear interface, consistency, attractiveness, information accuracy, information completeness, perceived security and perceived privacy used as the variables to investigate the intention to adopt the smart home. The quantitative method was used in this research. The sample size of this research is 102 respondents. The questionnaire was used for data collection. From the statistical analysis, the result verify that clear interface, consistency, attractiveness, information accuracy, perceived security and perceived privacy have positive impact on the Malaysian householder’s intention to adopt smart home. Besides that, the result from clustering analysis shows that, the younger generation or higher education respondents have higher intention to adopt smart home system. By referring this, the practitioner can refer and focus on those variables to develop the smart home that suitable for Malaysian.</p>

Nowadays, due to easiness and expansion in property of smart mobile devices, it is becoming inevitable for mobile applications to have an important role in higher education systems. The Egyptian public universities are facing the problem of students’ large number enrolled in each year. Thus, we lack proper communication between educators and learners. Mobile learning can solve that problem, and it enables adjustment of the curriculum to meet students' learning time and life situations. It provides different solutions better than traditional educational methods. Students and professors could exchange educational material or information even if they are not in the same class. Furthermore, the cost of universities’ materials reduced, as all course materials can be found online through mobile applications. This paper proposes a mobile learning system named “Easy-Edu.” The proposed system intended to make the learning process easier, focus on students’ needs, and encourage communication and collaboration between students and professors and supports collaborative scenario-based learning for university students. Unlike other traditional systems, the proposed “Easy-Edu” was built using an Agile-based approach that delivers sustainable and high-quality mobile learning system. In addition, it eliminates the chances of absolute system failure and detects and fixes issues faster. Summarily, everything related to the design and implementation of “Easy-Edu” is discussed.
