AISI 1045, AISI 1053 and AISI 4140 are the mostly used material for axle shaft of a vehicle. The comparative study of these materials definitely will help in selection of appropriate material for required condition. AISI 4140 has shown greater Young’s modulus, yield strength and tensile strength, but moderate ductility is observed. The lesser ductility of AISI 1053 limits its usage in rear axle shaft. The ductility and Young’s modulus of AISI 1045 is satisfactory, but lower strength is prime concern with it.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan unsur struktural dan etnopedagogik novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner sebagai alternatif bahan pengajaran apresiasi sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif analisis, sedangkan teknik yang digunakan adalah teknik telaah pustaka, analisis data, dan teknik interpretasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan tema novel tentang usaha sekelompok anak memecahkan rahasia surat yang menggunakan bilangan biner. Alur yang digunakan alur campuran. Jumlah tokoh 43 orang. Latar yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya latar tempat, waktu, dan sosial. Judul telah mewakili isi cerita. Pengarang menggunakan sudut pandang orang ketiga. Bahasa yang digunakan bahasa sehari-hari. Novel Rasiah Kodeu Biner memiliki banyak nilai etnopedagogik moral kemanusiaan. Novel ini bisa dijadikan alternatif bahan pembelajaran apresiasi sastra karena memenuhi kriteria pemilihan bahan ajar serta mengandung nilai moral kemanusian sesuai kepribadian siswa. ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe the structural and ethnopedagogic elements of Rasiah Kodeu Biner novel as an alternative of literature appreciation teaching-learning material. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, while the techniques used are literature review techniques, data analysis, and interpretation techniques. The results of the study revealed that the novel theme is about the effort of group of children to solve the secret letter using binary numbers. The sequel used is mixed sequel. Numbers of characters are 43 people. The backgrounds found in this study include setting place, time, and social. The title has represented the story content. The author uses a third-person point of view. Language used is common language. Rasiah Kodeu Biner novel has many ethnopedagogic moral values of humanity. This novel can be used as an alternative material in teaching-learning literature appreciation, as it meets the criteria of the selection of teaching-learning materials and contains the moral values of humanity suitable with the students’ personality.

Drug delivery system describe the journey of a drug to get the target of action. The material used in drug delivery is very diverse and according to the therapymethod. So far, the use of gelatin in the pharmaceutical is very extensive, such as material in the drug delivery system. Gelatin can be produced from the extraction of animal collagen like from skin, bone and connective tissue. They are usually taken from the products of animal slaughterhouse products such as pigs and cattles. To produce a halal material, starting from the selection of basic materials until production of a material must be appropiate with Islamic rules. Like the selection of basic materials that getting from halal animals, the slaughter process is according to Islamic law and does not contain alcohol or other non-halal ingredients. However, today the use of pig skin as a gelatin base material is preferred because of its abundant availability and ease of processing. But actually pigs are animals that should not be consumed in Islam. The large number of pharmaceutical products derivating from pigs is a problem for a Muslim because it can be non-halal product. Therefore it is necessary to look for alternative gelatin as drug delivery system. One of the alternative material that can be used is a polysaccharide which is a natural polymer with very abundant availability in nature. For example carrageenan which is a polysaccharide extracted from the red seaweed, alginate extracted from brown seaweed, and xanthan gum which is the excretion of Xanthomonas campestris bacteria. The polysaccharide can be used as a halal drug delivery system and has the potential to be developed further so that it has better quality than gelatin.

Objectives of computerized selection procedure are reduced to personal bias and gives the more accurate optimized result. The concept of entropy; to evaluate the weight factor for each alternative material property or performance index, and the other is TOPSIS and SAW; to rank the candidate materials, for which several requirements are considered simultaneously. Sensitivity analysis is introduced here for better performance of selection.

Based on the multi-body dynamics theory, a rigid-flexible coupling dual-link suspension model is established. Belgium road motivate inputs gathered from a proving ground are imposed on both wheels through a suspension-test rig and then a simulation is carried out. Next, the model is verified and refined by the available field test results of rear axle vertical acceleration. At last, based on the validated suspension dynamic model, a comprehensive dynamic load simulation is performed and different kinds of load form of suspension components are analyzed. This research could provide reference for measure point selection of load spectrum acquisition.

The first question to be answered, in seeking coordinate systems for geodynamics, is: what is geodynamics? The answer is, of course, that geodynamics is that part of geophysics which is concerned with movements of the Earth, as opposed to geostatics which is the physics of the stationary Earth. But as far as we know, there is no stationary Earth – epur sic monere. So geodynamics is actually coextensive with geophysics, and coordinate systems suitable for the one should be suitable for the other. At the present time, there are not many coordinate systems, if any, that can be identified with a static Earth. Certainly the only coordinate of aeronomic (atmospheric) interest is the height, and this is usually either as geodynamic height or as pressure. In oceanology, the most important coordinate is depth, and this, like heights in the atmosphere, is expressed as metric depth from mean sea level, as geodynamic depth, or as pressure. Only for the earth do we find “static” systems in use, ana even here there is real question as to whether the systems are dynamic or static. So it would seem that our answer to the question, of what kind, of coordinate systems are we seeking, must be that we are looking for the same systems as are used in geophysics, and these systems are dynamic in nature already – that is, their definition involvestime.
