The Young Male Prostitute
After reading Deisher's article, "The Young Male Prostitute" (Pediatrics,43:936, 1969) and the companion editorial by Solnit, "Bisexuality Gone Astray," many a subscriber must have mused over the prospect of a sequel editorial taking "Pediatrics Gone Astray" for its title. The only distinction Deisher claims for his study is that it is the first sociologic investigation of the professional male deviant. No other distinction is in sight, yet Solnit strains with sometimes meaningless grandiloquence to reach for a profound implication arising from the study.
