The state and prospects of development of phosphorite ore resources as agrochemical raw materials of the Russian Federation are analyzed. The geological structure, composition of ores and the prospects for forecasting, assessing and integrated development of phosphorite deposits of the South Ural phosphorite basin are characterized.

The article considers the geological structure of the Tash-Yarsky pyritepolymetallic deposit located in the northern part of the Magnitogorsky megazone near the large (about 300 km2) Akhunovsky granite massif. The petrographic study of the hornfelses made it possible to identify a number of mineral parageneses containing cordierite, garnet, and biotite, which are installed respectively from the massif contact at a distance no further than 0,6–0,8; 1,2–1,5 and 2,3–2,5 km. Based on the temperature dependence of the maximum iron content of sphalerite, high temperatures of metamorphism (500–610 °С) were obtained for ores. According to garnet-biotite and garnet-cordierite thermobarometers for rocks close to the massif, the transformation temperature is 720–750 °С, and the pressure is 8,9–9,1 kbar. With a distance of 700–850 m from the contact of granitoids, the temperature does not exceed 620–640 °C, and the pressure is 5,3–5,4 kbar; at a distance of 1,3 km, respectively — 550–560 °C and 4,6–4,7 kbar.

The chlorite rocks (chloritolites) exposed in a bedrock of the Mokhovoe boloto (Moss swamp) gold placer (East Uralian Megazone, South Urals), which occurs on ultramafc rocks, are studied. The trace element composition of chloritolites is characterized by elevated contents of Mn, Ti, V (hundreds of ppm), Cu, zn, Ni, Co, Cr, zr, Li, Sc (tens of ppm), w, zr, Y and REE. Chloritolites contain up to 3 vol. % of disseminated magnetite, ilmenite and accessory minerals (rutile, xenotime, monazite, zircon, apatite, scheelite, U-bearing thorite) from a mineral assemblage, which cocrystallize with the main volume of chlorite. The mineralogical and geochemical features of the Mokhovoe boloto chloritolites and gold-bearing chloritolites of the Karabash massif in the Main Uralian Fault zone are slightly similar. The elevated Ti and P contents of the studied chloritolites, the level of REE contents corresponding to mafc rocks, and the lack of relict chromite indicate their possible metasomatic formation after dolerite dikes known within Chebarkul-Kazbai ultramafc complex. The analysis of geological and geophysical materials in order to study the peculiarities of the geological structure of the Vikulov Formation within the Vodorazdel license area was carried out. The presented factual material makes it possible to characterize the geological structure of the investigated area more informatively and for interpreting of seismic materials. The analysis of geological information (GIS and test results) confirms the approved water–oil contact (WOC) level in the investigated section of the deposit, which makes it possible to recalculate its reserves.
