In the coming years, the mine of LLC "Rudnik Valunisty" developing the gold and silver Valunistoe and Gornoye deposits will exhaust economically justified reserves. One of the ways to extend the life of the mine and increase the profitability of production should be the extraction of man-made secondary mineral resources. The purpose of the study is to identify the main types of solid and hydromineral form of technogenic-mineral formations at the Valunistoe Deposit, as well as to estimate the possibility of their industrial development. The useful components content was determined and calculated. The results of theoretical modeling of physical and chemical parameters of hypergenic mineral formation of the solid part of technogenic-mineral formations are shown. Objects of formation of technological waters are given. The conditions of concentration of gold and other metals are considered.

The results of detailed mineralogical studies of the Malyutka massif altered rocks of the Khudolazovskiy differentiated complex are presented. The morphology and chemical composition of many rock-forming and accessory minerals are described. According to the study, the magmatic and post-magmatic (hydrothermal-metasomatic) stages of rock formation are distinguished. The problems associated with the genetic interpretation of a number of rock-forming and ore minerals are discussed. The conclusion about the polygenic nature of the formation of spinelids is made. The equilibrium temperature in the «Ti-magnetite–ilmenite» system (633–650 °C), as well as the crystallization temperature of chlorite, replacing phlogopite and hornblende (145–185 °C), were estimated.

The article presents an engineering-geomorphological assessment of the geodynamic regimes of the Neman River valley within Belarus and adjacent territories. Exodynamic processes within the floodplain, above-floodplain terraces, on the sides and adjacent flat interfluves, as well as technogenic processes were studied. Zoning of the valley and adjacent areas was carried out according to the characteristics of engineering development.

A sample of a gold-bearing quartz vein from the Upper-Ichuveem ore occurrence, discovered in the Triassic terrigenous complex in the north of the Chukotka Upland, the Oleg Kuvaev's “Territory”, had been comprehensively studied. The gross gold grade was estimated at 3–4 g / t. The vein includes quartz, native gold, sulfide-goldsilver solid solutions, alumoseladonite, aluminium-sulfate-phosphates Fe-Pb-Mg-Ca compound, apatite, pyrite, iron-titanium oxides, litharge, native phases composed of Fe (Ni), Ag-Pb-Bi, Fe-Al-PS-As, multicomponent ocher of hypergene origin. Native gold ranges from medium to fine. The vein contains particles of non-crystalline organic matter, which is close in composition of organic groups to polysaccharides. It is possible that the carbon particles found in the gold-quartz vein are of an abiogenic nature and can be compared with abiogenic condensed organelles in the products of modern volcanism. The data obtained make it possible to attribute the Upper- Ichuveem gold ore occurrence to a low-sulfide gold-quartz formation, but with additional signs of gold-silver and polymetallic formations, which can be regarded as a favorable prerequisite for prospecting and exploration in Oleg Kuvaev's «Territory» not only of gold-placer deposits, but also of lode gold deposits.

The article considers the issues of changing the energy activity of the surface of clay particles modified by pressure up to 800 MPa. The energy properties of the surface were evaluated by measuring the adhesion force between the surface of clay samples and the silicon cantilever of an atomic force microscope. It has been proved that when clay soils are modified by stress pressure, the adhesion force changes in different directions in clays with different mineral composition. So, in kaolin clay, with an increase in pressure from 25 to 800 MPa, the adhesion force increases, respectively, from 0.25 to 0.78 nN. In clays of montmorillonite composition, an increase in pressure to 150 MPa leads to an increase in the adhesive interaction, and a further increase in the load to 800 MPa leads to its decrease.

The article is devoted to the assessment of the oil and gas potential of the deep Ordovician-Lower Devonian oil and gas complex in the south-east of the Timan-Pechora oil and gas province. Within the Upper Pechora Basin of the Pre-Ural trough and in the south of the Pechora-Kolva aulacogen, several wells were drilled with a depth of more than 5 km, some of which entered the Lower Paleozoic deposits. These strata are difficult to access and poorly studied, and the prospects for their oil and gas potential are unclear. The article describes the composition of the complex, gives geochemical characteristics, describes reservoir properties, and presents the results of 1D and 2D basin modeling. Models of the zoning of catagenesis are presented. The oil and gas complex includes a variety of oil and gas source rocks. It is possible to allocate collectors, as well as the seals. In the Lower Paleozoic sediments, the processes of oil, gas and gas condensate generation took place, which could ensure the formation of deposits both in the deep strata of the Lower and Middle Paleozoic, and in the overlying horizons. The generation and accumulation of hydrocarbons in deep-buried sediments occurred at a favorable time for the formation of deposits. However, it is considered that the scale of hydrocarbon generation for the Lower Paleozoic deposits is not high.

This paper explores the geomorphological features of the Ninety East Ridge (NER), Indian Ocean. NER presents especially long and linear topographic structure formed as a result of complex regional geophysical and geologic development. The research is based on high precision bathymetric, geological and gravity data. The submarine geomorphology of NER was digitized as three cross-sectional profiles. The profiles were selected in northern, central and southern segments. The depths were visualized in graphs, compared and statistically analyzed by histograms. The study contributes to the geophysical studies of the Indian Ocean.

Analysis of the parameters of the vibration field of the city was carried out on the example of the area of Syktyvkar. The vibroseismic monitoring data were used as a source material. We obtained the estimates of the mathematical expectation, variances and standard deviations, checked the normal distribution of random variables. The values of the correlation coefficient and correlation ratio were determined applying the method of correlation-regression analysis and carrying out the necessary calculations. Distribution diagrams were also constructed and approximating functions and estimated equations were obtained. This approach can be used to predict the parameters of the vibration field on the city territory and made it possible to give recommendations on its application as selection rationale of construction sites and environmental survey in the field of man-induced impact.

The cyclic relief, neotectonic structures, geodynamically active zones (GdAZ) and exogenous geological processes have been investigated in the Vladimir-Nizhny Novgorod region. For the first time, six leveling surfaces were identified in the relief and the structure of four river terraces was considered. The analysis of obtained data made it possible to identify neotectonic structures of different types and classify them into three neotectonic regions. The boundaries of these areas are GdAZ, which are considered as crossing, superimposed and shear structures. Based on the cycling of relief formation, the total for the latest stage and stepwise amplitudes and rates of deformations are calculated. An increase in the rates of uplifts from the Miocene to the present is characteristic. Intensive development of suffusion-karst processes tends to specific types of relief and zones of disturbances, which are considered dangerous and environmentally significant for the territories of important engineering facilities
