The use of cannabis for medicinal purposes dates back well before the era of modern medicine, but in recent years research into the use of medical cannabis in the medical and pharmaceutical sciences has grown significantly. In European countries, most cannabis plants have been and still are grown for industrial purposes. For this reason, hemp cultivation technology is relatively well researched, while little is known about the key factors affecting cannabis cultivation for medical purposes. The active substances of cannabis plant targeted by this review are called phytocannabinoids. The biosynthesis of phytocannabinoids is relatively well understood, but the specific environmental factors that influence the type and number of phytocannabinoids have been much less studied. Indoor or greenhouse cultivation, which uses automated lighting, ventilation, irrigation systems and complex plant nutrition has become much more sophisticated and appears to be the most effective method for producing medical cannabis. There are many different cultivation systems for cannabis plants, but one of the essential elements of the process is an optimal plant nutrition and selection of fertilisers to achieve it. This review summarises the existing knowledge about phytocannabinoid biosynthesis and the conditions suitable for growing plants as sources of medical cannabis. This review also attempts to delineate how nutrient type and bioavailability influences the synthesis and accumulation of specific phytocannabinoids based on contemporary knowledge of the topic.

Enterprise alliance is a basic organization which achieves network-based manufacturing. One of the key factors which affect the enterprise alliance’s buildup is that the candidate enterprise can make a correct decision in the selection of a cooperative project. This paper proposes a fuzzy AHP model to select the bid projects made by the leaguers to be selected basing on the analysis of the inportance of these bid projects. This model provides a comprehensive consideration for the various evaluation factors affecting the selection of a bid project. According to this model, candidate enterprise can select a bid project correctly.

Light intensity, temperature, and humidity are key factors affecting photosynthesis, respiration, and transpiration. Among these factors, temperature is a crucial parameter to establish an optimal greenhouse climate. Temperature can be controlled by using an appropriate climate screen, which has a considerable impact on crop quantity and quality. The precise measurements of longwave radiative properties of screens are vital to the selection of the most suitable screen for greenhouses so that the desired temperature and a favorable environment can be provided to plants during nighttime. The energy-saving capability of screens can also be calculated by using these properties as inputs in a physical model. Two approaches have been reported so far in the literature for the measurement of these properties, i.e., spectrophotometry and wideband radiometry. In this study, we proposed some modified radiation balance methods for determining the total hemispherical longwave radiative properties of different screens by using wide-band radiometers. The proposed method is applicable to materials having zero porosity, partial opacity, and asymmetric screens with 100% solidity. These materials were not studied previously under natural conditions. The existing and proposed methods were applied and compared, and it was found that the radiometric values obtained from the developed methodology were similar to those previously reported in the literature, whereas the existing method gave unstable results with zero reflectance.

Readers theater productions are meaningful expressions of creative pedagogy in higher education. This article presents the script of a readers theater called Identify This… A Readers Theater of Women's Voices, which was researched, written, and produced by undergraduate and graduate students in a women's studies class called Intersections of Race, Class, and Gender. Section one of the article reproduces the script of Identify This that was based on life history interviews with a diverse selection of women to illustrate intersectional identities. Section two briefly describes the essential elements of the process we used to create and perform Identify This.

In modern conditions of development, financial security is an integral part of the overall security of the region and is formed on the basis of the functioning of the financial system. The complication of relationships between key segments of international financial markets, as well as the limited ability to accurately predict future trends in the development of the global financial system, lead to a gradual increase in the risks that accompany the activities of economic entities, and an increase in the number and scale of internal and external threats that have a negative impact on the financial security of the state. This formulation of the issue requires generalization of approaches to determining the financial security of the region in order to further formalize this issue and determine the key factors affecting it. The article considers the types of financial security, as well as certain areas of ensuring the financial security of the region and their priority. In work the assessment of the level of socio-economic development of the region with a view to ensuring financial security on the basis of which offers the main activities and priority areas of implementation of the investment policy that will ensure financial security of the Republic of Crimea.
