This study aims to describe the development of the teaching profession, to describe the level of teacher performance, and to determine the influence of teachers' professional development on teacher performance. Core studies focused on the factors that affect the performance of teachers, while the factors examined in this study is the development profaesi teacher. The method used is a survey method. Data collection techniques in this study using a questionnaire. Respondents in this research is the foundation of permanent teachers Vocational High School (SMK) in Bandung, which has 21 teachers. Data were analyzed using simple regression. The results showed: (1)) professional development of teachers are in a category quite effective, and the performance of teachers at a fairly high category; (2) professional development positively affects performance.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai pengembangan profesi guru, untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat kinerja guru, dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan profesi guru terhadap kinerja guru. Inti kajiannya difokuskan pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, adapun faktor yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan profaesi guru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan  data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah guru tetap yayasan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) di Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 21 orang guru. Teknik analisis data  menggunakan  regresi  sederhana. Hasil  penelitian ini menunjukkan:  (1) )  pengembangan profesi guru berada dalam kategori cukup efektif,dan  kinerja  guru  berada  pada  kategori cukup tinggi; (2)  pengembangan profesi guru  berpengaruh  positif terhadap kinerja.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 5 model rating scale. Responden adalah guru Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa budaya organisasi di sekolah dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan budaya organisasi dan motivasi. Implikasinya adalah adanya kebutuhan untuk Kepala Sekolah atau pemimpin lainnya dalam mengambil tindakan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja guru.Kata Kunci: kinerja guru, budaya organisasi, motivasi ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND MOTIVATION AS PREDICTORS OF TEACHER PERFORMANCE AT VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOLThe purpose of this study was to analyze influence organizational culture and motivation to teacher performance. Oleh karena itu, kinerja guru dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan peran  kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja.

The purpose of this study was to analyze influence teache’s creativity on teaching towards the student learning interest in entrepreneurship with used explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used question model on scale of 1-5 form with likert scale. The respondents of this research consist of 90 students in grade XI of Office Administration in Vocational High School in Cimahi. The technique of data collection with the use of simple regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, there are some information which are the teacher’s creativity on teaching significantly influences the learning interest for the students in grade XI of Office Administration in Cimahi. This study suggests the teachers to concern creative teaching method in order to increase the students’ learning interest on learning activities.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas mengajar guru terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 5 model likert scale. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas mengajar guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK di Cimahi. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar pihak guru lebih memperhatikan cara mengajar yang kreatif, agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

This study aims to determine the effect of school climate on student's interest in vocational high school. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method methode method. Data collection techniques used questionnaires with a scale of 1 to 5 Likert scale models. Respondents were 66 students of class X of Office Administration in one of Vocational High School in Bandung. The technique of analysis using regression. The results showed that there is a positive influence between school climate on student learning interest. Thus the more conducive the school climate, the higher the student's interest in learning.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian explanatory survey methode. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala 1 sampai dengan 5 model skala likert. Responden sebanyak 66 siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Bandung. Teknik analisis menggunakan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif antara iklim sekolah terhadap minat belajar siswa. Dengan demikian semakin kondusif iklim sekolah, maka semakin tinggi minat belajar siswa.

This paper examines specifically about interpersonal communication teacher’s as factors that influence the effectiveness of the powerful alleged learning students. Based on the results of data analysis by using simple regression where data collected through survey method using question form answers to the 51 students in vocational high school in Bandung as the respondent. The results of the analysis of data indicates that interpersonal communications teacher had an impact on the effectiveness of learning of students. The results of this research can provide implications towards the learning process. the results showed teacher’s interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect against the effectiveness of learning of students. Thus the effectiveness of student learning can be enchanced through improved interpersonal communication teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang komunikasi interpersonal guru sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhanadimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 51 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal guru.

This article aimed to determine the implementation of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. The research method used Expalanatory Survey method with data collection technique used questionnaire. Respondents are 80 students grade eleventh from Office Administration major of a vocational high school in Lembang, selected by used sampling technique. Data were analyzed using regression. The result of the research revealed that: (1) the classroom management is in the quite effective category, (2) the students' learning discipline is in the moderate category, and (3) there is a significant influence of classroom management on students’ learning discipline. Therefore, students’ learning discipline can be improved through increased classroom management by teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini membahas hasil penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pelaksanaan manajemen kelas dan disiplin belajar siswa serta ada tidaknya pengaruh manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa pada sebuah SMK di Lembang. Metode yang digunakan adalah Ekspalanatory Survey dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Respondennya berjumlah 80 orang siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik sampling. Analisis data menggunakan regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) manajemen kelas berada pada kategori cukup efektif, (2) disiplin belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan manajemen kelas terhadap disiplin belajar siswa, artinya disiplin belajar siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui manajemen kelas yang dilakukan oleh guru.

The purpose of this study was  to analyze the influence of principal’s managerial skills and quality culture on teacher performance. The research method used survey method. Data collection techniques used a rating scale scale questionnaire with scores ranging from 1 to 5. Respondents are 90 teachers of State Vocational High School in Bandung. Data analysis technique using regression. The results showed that job satisfaction and organizational commitment have a positive and significant influence on teacher performance, either partially or simultaneously. This study aims to get information and the problem which is face by teacher about applied of authentic assessment base on curriculum 2013 in The Drawing of Buildings Engineering Program Expertise at 1 Vocational High School of Jakarta, 26 Vocational High School of Jakarta, and 35 Vocational High School of Jakarta.This study used survey method with data collection using structures interview techniques to get the information and the problem which is face by teacher about applied of authentic assessment base on curriculum 2013.The results of this study shown that the applied of authentic assessment base on curriculum 2013 in The Drawing of Buildings Engineering Program Expertise at Vocational High School Area of DKI Jakarta not going well. Because, just 29% respondents who have understanding the true of authentic assessment. RPP preparation only performed by 71% respondents and 100% respondents not preparation instruments realm of attitudes and skill but only preparation instrument of knowledge. However, almost all the teacher 95% respondents not conduction an analysis of the quality assessment instrument realm of knowledge that has been made. The follow up program given by 86% respondents for the students in the form of remedial activities. For the results of this study shown too that 86% respondents states find the problem in the applied of authentic assessment

This paper examines specifically about the principal's leadership style as a factor that allegedly affect the performance of teachers. Based on the analysis of data using simple regression analysis and using explanatory survey method as a means of collecting data and using the questionnaire answers to the 66 respondents who are permanent teachers at State Vocational High School 11 Bandung. Results of the analysis showed that the principal's leadership style had an influence on the performance of teachers. These results indicate leadership style has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan menggunakan metode explanatory survey sebagai alat pengumpulan data serta menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 66 orang responden yang merupakan guru tetap di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 11 Bandung. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
