This paper examines specifically about the principal's leadership style as a factor that allegedly affect the performance of teachers. Based on the analysis of data using simple regression analysis and using explanatory survey method as a means of collecting data and using the questionnaire answers to the 66 respondents who are permanent teachers at State Vocational High School 11 Bandung. Results of the analysis showed that the principal's leadership style had an influence on the performance of teachers. These results indicate leadership style has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance.ABSTRAKTulisan ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan menggunakan metode explanatory survey sebagai alat pengumpulan data serta menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 66 orang responden yang merupakan guru tetap di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 11 Bandung. Hasil analisis tersebut menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan gaya kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.

The purpose of this study was to analyze influence teache’s creativity on teaching towards the student learning interest in entrepreneurship with used explanatory survey method. Data collection techniques used question model on scale of 1-5 form with likert scale. The respondents of this research consist of 90 students in grade XI of Office Administration in Vocational High School in Cimahi. The technique of data collection with the use of simple regression analysis. Based on the results of this study, there are some information which are the teacher’s creativity on teaching significantly influences the learning interest for the students in grade XI of Office Administration in Cimahi. This study suggests the teachers to concern creative teaching method in order to increase the students’ learning interest on learning activities.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kreativitas mengajar guru terhadap minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kewirausahaan dengan menggunakan metode survey explanatory. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skor yang terentang antara 1 sampai 5 model likert scale. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 90 siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan di Cimahi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi yang menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas mengajar guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran di SMK di Cimahi. Penelitian ini menyarankan agar pihak guru lebih memperhatikan cara mengajar yang kreatif, agar dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.

ABSTRACTThe study investigates the effect of leadership style on employee’s work stress in ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. The data were collected from 92 employees and obtained using a questionnaire consisted of 29 items with 6 point Likert scale. Desciptive analysis used to illustratedthe leadership style and work stress level inside the organization. Simple regression analysis was used to analyze the data and to measure the relation between independent and dependent variables. Employee perceives that the leadership style implemented in the organization was already appropriate and in line with their expectation regarding how their leader should engage the work relation. Meanwihle, the work stress level among employees were low. The regression analysis revealed the negative relation between leadership style and work stress level. When employeesperceived that their leader was act accordance to what their expectaion then the stress level will lessen. The coefficient of determination was 0.321. This mean the leadership style can only explain 32.1% of work stress, then the organization need to identify other factors which also affect the work stress. The comparison with the previous literatures also discussed.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan terhadap tingkat stres kerja karyawan di Divisi ESS Transportation Management Service Telkom. Data penelitian diperoleh daripenyebaran kuesioner terhadap 92 orang responden. Kuesioner yang digunakan memiliki 29 pertanyaan dengan skala Likert 6 poin. Teknik analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menjelaskan tingkat gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres yang dipersepsikan oleh karyawan. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis pengaruh antara dua ariabel tersebut digunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa karyawan merasa gaya kepemimpinan yang diterapkan sudahsesuai dengan apa yang mereka harapkan. Mereka menilai bahwa pemimpin sudah menerapkan gaya yang tepat dalam setiap kondisi yang terkait pekerjaan. Tingkat stres karyawan di perusahaan ini relatif rendah. Selanjutnya, analisis regresi memperlihatkan hubungan signifikan negatif antara gaya kepemimpinan dan tingkat stres. Karyawan yang merasa sesuai dengan gaya kepemimpinan atasan akan memiliki tingkat stres yang lebih rendah. Koefisien determinasi dari hasil penelitian ini adalah 0.321. ini berarti bahwa gaya kepemimpinan hanya dapat menjelaskan tingkat stres sebesar 32.1% of work stress. Hasil ini menjadi masukan bagi perusahaan untuk mempelajari faktor-faktor lain penyebab stres. Pembahasan di dalam penelitian ini akan menyajikan pula hasil riset terdahulu dari berbagai latar belakang budaya

      The aim of this study is to analyzed the influence of leadership style on managerial performance and the reward system as the moderating variable that may affect the relationship of leadership style on managerial performance. The type of this research is associative. Respondents are managers and staff with the lowest level of supervisor in the entire supermarket in Mataram, as many as 66 respondents. Sampling technique is census. Using simple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) as analysis.      The results showed that leadership style negative significantly influence on managerial performance and the reward system influence negatively significant the relationship of leadership style on managerial performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of Online Media Utilization on Entrepreneurial Interest in Students at STMM Yogyakarta. The sample in this study were 94 students at STMM Yogyakarta. Data was collected by survey method by giving a list of questions or questionnaires directly to the respondents. Data analysis techniques in this study used Simple Regression analysis, and t test which was operated through the SPSS program. The results showed that the use of online media had a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial interest in students at STMM Yogyakarta.

Learning facilities and infrastructure as the factor strongly assumed to influence students learning motivation. Based on the results regression analysis of data collected through a survey method with a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents in one of private vocational high school student in Bandung. It is found that learning facilities and infrastructure have an effect on students learning motivation. The findings can have implications on the teaching and learning process. The implication are also for education researchers to consider learning facilities and infrastructure as predictors or variables of better students learning motivation.ABSTRAKSarana dan prasarana pembelajaran merupakan faktor yang tidak dapat di abaikan keberadaan dan peranannya sebagai factor pendukung terhadap keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Dukungan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran sangatlah nyata terutama terhadap tumbuhnya motivasi belajar para siswa dan pada gilirannya kelak akan memberikan efek yang berarti  terhadap hasil belajar mereka. Dengan kata lain bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar para siswa. Hal tersebut terbukti secara empirik berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada salah satu  Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan swasta di Bandung dengan melibatkan 50 siswanya sebagai responden. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran memiliki hubungan langsung dan kuat dengan motivasi belajar mereka. Hal tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa sarana dan prasarana belajar memberikan pengaruh kuat terhadap motivasi belajar mereka. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran merupakan factor determinan  terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

The competition in this industry has become extremely tight as the number of star and non-star hotels in Bali increased in 2019, reaching 4,323 hotels. The goal of this study was to examine the impact of the leadership style on the work motivation of employees in the Hotel A Ubud's Housekeeping Department. The participants in this study were all employees of the Hotel A Ubud's Housekeeping Department. In this study, a saturated sample or census technique was used for sampling. In this study, simple regression analysis was used for data analysis. The analysis results show that leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee work motivation. As a result, the better the application of a leadership style in a company, the higher the work motivation. The findings of this study have implications for the development of hotel policies aimed at increasing employee work motivation by paying attention to the leader's style and character while leading his subordinates. However, it is expected that future research will examine the effect of these two variables on a broader scope using a longitudinal approach, so that the research results can be generalized.

This study aims to analyze the effect of office spatial on work effectiveness of employees by using survey method. This study performed data collection by using a questionnaire with a range of scores 1 to 5. Respondents of the study consisted of the employees of the Office of Education of Bandung City. This study used simple regression analysis as the data analysis technique. The results reveal that the office spatial brings positive effects on the work effectiveness of employees. Therefore, the work effectiveness of employees can be improved through the improvement of office spatial conditions.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tata ruang kantor terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai dengan menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dengan rentang skor antara 1 sampai 5menggunakan model rating scale. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah para pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tata ruang kantor memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Oleh karena itu, efektivitas kerja pegawai dapat meningkat melalui adanya peningkatan kondisi tata ruang kantor.

This paper examines specifically about interpersonal communication teacher’s as factors that influence the effectiveness of the powerful alleged learning students. Based on the results of data analysis by using simple regression where data collected through survey method using question form answers to the 51 students in vocational high school in Bandung as the respondent. The results of the analysis of data indicates that interpersonal communications teacher had an impact on the effectiveness of learning of students. The results of this research can provide implications towards the learning process. the results showed teacher’s interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect against the effectiveness of learning of students. Thus the effectiveness of student learning can be enchanced through improved interpersonal communication teachers.ABSTRAKArtikel ini mengkaji secara khusus tentang komunikasi interpersonal guru sebagai faktor yang diduga kuat mempengaruhi efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dengan menggunakan regresi sederhanadimana data yang dikumpulkan melalui metode survey dengan menggunakan angket jawaban terhadap 51 siswa pada salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Bandung sebagai responden. Hasil analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru mempunyai pengaruh terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan implikasi terhadap proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan komunikasi interpersonal guru memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran siswa. Dengan demikian efektivitas pembelajaran siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui peningkatan komunikasi interpersonal guru.

Kinerja antara lain ditentukan oleh kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan dan disiplin kerja yang diterapkan. Maka dengan sendirinya pegawai akan senantiasa menunjukkan kinerja yang baik dan memberikan kontribusi yang baik bagi organisasi. Sehingga pegawai akan mencintai pekerjaannya. Dinas Pendidikan pada salah satu kabupaten  di Jawa Barat menjadi tempat penelitian. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial maupun simultan. Belum optimalnya kinerja pegawai menjadi kajian permasalahan dalam penelitian ini.  Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey eksplanasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 132 pegawai dengan sampel yang telah ditetapkan melalui sampel acak sebanyak 57 pegawai. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana dan regresi ganda. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap  kinerja pegawai secara parsial, diperoleh Fhitung> Ftabel yaitu 24,5584 >  4,0162, (2) disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai secara parsial. Diperoleh Fhitung> Ftabel yaitu 31,7205 >  4,0162. dan (3) secara simultan kepuasan kerja dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Diperoleh Fhitung  ≥ Ftabel yaitu (323,686 ≥ 3,1682). Oleh karena itu, untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, harus memperhatikan kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh pegawai serta meningkatkan disiplin kerja dengan memberikan stimuli kepada pegawai.Kata Kunci: kinerja pegawai, kepuasan kerja, disiplin kerjaREACH EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE BY JOB PERFORMANCE  AND WORK DISCIPLINEThe performance determined by the perceived job satisfaction and discipline in working that is applied. Therefore, the employees naturally will continue to perform well and give a good contribution to the organization. So, the employees will love to their jobs. Department of Education in West Java was the location of this research. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of job satisfaction and discipline in working toward employee performance partially or simultaneously. The employee performance which is not optimal became issues to be studied in this research. The method used was explanatory survey method. The populations in this research were 132 employees with predefined sample through random sample as much as 57 of employees. Data were collected by using a questionnaire and data were analyzed by using simple regression analysis and multiple regression. The result showed that: (1) job satisfaction has significant effect toward employee performance. By partially, it was obtained that Fcount> Ftable was 24.5584 > 4.0162, (2) the discipline in working has significant effect on employee performance partially. It was obtained that Fcount > Ftable was 31.7205 > 4.0162, and (3) simultaneously; job satisfaction and discipline in working have significant impact on employee performance. It was obtained that Fcount ≥ Ftable was (323.686 ≥ 3.1682). Therefore, to improve employee performance, job satisfaction should be considered which is felt by employees and improve discipline in working by providing stimuli to employees.Keywords: employee performance, job satisfaction, work discipline

<p>This study aims to determine the relationship between self-esteem and vandalism levels of on high school freshmen students. The data of this correlational study was obtained through the Vandalism Scale, Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale and Personal Information Form developed for his study. The sample of this research consists of 1225 students in public high schools freshmens in the Şanlıurfa province and district centers. Of the whole research group, 587 are female and 638 are male students. The relationship between the vandalism and self-esteem levels of student was investigated with the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation Coefficients. In addition, the calculations on the self-esteem of students predicting their vandalism levels were carried out with the simple regression analysis. Analyzing the binary correlation between vandalism and self-esteem, it was found that the relationship was negatively and significantly. In predicting vandalism scores from all the variables in the study, the self-esteem scores of students with the simple regression analysis, self-esteem scores explained the 3% of the total variance in vandalism scores. Negative correlation between these two variables indicates that individuals having high self-esteem have less vandalism tendencies.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Özet</strong></p><p>Bu araştırmanın amacı, lise birinci sınıf düzeyinde eğitim gören öğrencilerin tahripçilik ve özsaygıları arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesidir. Korelasyonel türden bir çalışma olan bu araştırma verileri Tahripçilik Ölçeği, Coopersmith Özsaygı Ölçeği ve geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu ile elde edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi, Şanlıurfa ili ve ilçe merkezlerinin devlet okullarının genel liselerinde okuyan 1225 lise birinci sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Bunların 587’si kız, 638’i ise erkek öğrencilerden oluşturmaktadır. Öğrencilerin özsaygı düzeylerinin tahripçi davranışlarını yordama gücü basit regresyon analizi ile incelenmiştir. Öğrencilerin özsaygı ölçeği puanlarının tahripçilik puanlarındaki varyansın %3'ünü açıkladığı bulunmuştur. Bu iki değişken arasındaki ilişkinin negatif olması özsaygısı yüksek bireylerin tahripçi davranışlarının daha az olduğunu göstermektedir.</p>
