In order to reduce the missed detection error and the systematic error caused by acoustic resonance fluid level detection, liquid level estimation method based on evidence fusion mechanism is designed. It establishes a two dimensional dynamic system model of the standingwavelength. The state evidence of wavelength is obtained through the random set description of evidence, and the extension principle of random set is used to get the observation evidence ofwavelength. The evidential reasoning (ER) rule and dependent evidence fusion are used to fuse those evidence, and the estimation value of fluid level can be calculated from fused result based on pignistic expectation. The corresponding liquid level estimation experiment illustrates the validity and feasibilityof the proposed method.

The estimation speed of positioning parameters determines the effectiveness of the positioning system. The time of arrival (TOA) and direction of arrival (DOA) parameters can be estimated by the space-time two-dimensional multiple signal classification (2D-MUSIC) algorithm for array antenna. However, this algorithm needs much time to complete the two-dimensional pseudo spectral peak search, which makes it difficult to apply in practice. Aiming at solving this problem, a fast estimation method of space-time two-dimensional positioning parameters based on Hadamard product is proposed in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system, and the Cramer-Rao bound (CRB) is also presented. Firstly, according to the channel frequency domain response vector of each array, the channel frequency domain estimation vector is constructed using the Hadamard product form containing location information. Then, the autocorrelation matrix of the channel response vector for the extended array element in frequency domain and the noise subspace are calculated successively. Finally, by combining the closed-form solution and parameter pairing, the fast joint estimation for time delay and arrival direction is accomplished. The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly reduce the computational complexity and guarantee that the estimation accuracy is not only better than estimating signal parameters via rotational invariance techniques (ESPRIT) algorithm and 2D matrix pencil (MP) algorithm but also close to 2D-MUSIC algorithm. Moreover, the proposed algorithm also has certain adaptability to multipath environment and effectively improves the ability of fast acquisition of location parameters.

Two-dimensional (2-D) Silicon phononic crystal (PnC) slab of a square array of cylindrical air holes in a 10μm thick free-standing silicon plate with line defects is characterized as a cavity-mode PnC resonator. Piezoelectric aluminum nitride (AlN) film is deployed as the inter-digital transducers (IDT) to transmit and detect acoustic waves, thus making the whole microfabrication process CMOS-compatible. Both the band structure of the PnC and the transmission spectrum of the proposed PnC resonator are analyzed and optimized using finite element method (FEM). The measured quality factor (Q factor) of the microfabricated PnC resonator is over 1,000 at its resonant frequency of 152.46MHz. The proposed PnC resonator shows promising acoustic resonance characteristics for RF communications and sensing applications.

The performance of a direction-finding system is significantly degraded by the imperfection of an array. In this paper, the direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation problem is investigated in the uniform linear array (ULA) system with the unknown mutual coupling (MC) effect. The system model with MC effect is formulated. Then, by exploiting the signal sparsity in the spatial domain, a compressed-sensing (CS)-based system model is proposed with the MC coefficients, and the problem of DOA estimation is converted into that of a sparse reconstruction. To solve the reconstruction problem efficiently, a novel DOA estimation method, named sparse-based DOA estimation with unknown MC effect (SDMC), is proposed, where both the sparse signal and the MC coefficients are estimated iteratively. Simulation results show that the proposed method can achieve better performance of DOA estimation in the scenario with MC effect than the state-of-the-art methods, and improve the DOA estimation performance about 31.64 % by reducing the MC effect by about 4 dB.

Aiming at two-dimensional (2D) coherent distributed (CD) sources, this paper has proposed a direction of arrival (DOA) tracking algorithm based on signal subspace updating under the uniform rectangular array (URA). First, based on the hypothesis of small angular spreads of distributed sources, the rotating invariant relations of the signal subspace of the receive vector of URA are derived. An ESPRIT-like method is constructed for DOA estimation using two adjacent parallel linear arrays of URA. Through the synthesis of estimation by multiple groups of parallel linear arrays within URA arrays, the DOA estimation method for 2D CD sources based on URA is obtained. Then, fast approximated power iteration (FAPI) subspace tracking algorithm is used to update the signal subspace. In this way, DOA tracking of 2D CD sources can be realized by DOA estimation through signal subspace updating. This algorithm has a low computational complexity and good real-time tracking performance. In addition, the algorithm can track multiple CD sources without knowing the angular signal distribution functions, which is robust to model errors.

In order to improve the contour error accuracy of two-dimensional linear motor, an improved cross-coupled control (CCC) scheme combining real-time contour error estimation and model-free adaptive control (MFAC) is proposed. The real-time contour error estimation method is based on CCC theory and coordinate transformation idea. It can accurately determine the contour error point of regular contour and avoid the influence of tracking error on the contour error. At the same time, for the design of two-axis error controller, only the input and output data generated by two-dimensional linear motor in reciprocating motion are used to design a multiple input multiple output-model-free adaptive control (MIMO-MFAC) algorithm, this algorithm avoids the dependence on accurate mathematical model and reduces the control difficulty. The experimental comparison showed that the proposed method improves the system tracking accuracy and contour accuracy, and verifies the proposed method correctness and effectiveness.
