 With the current social and economic development, people have a new understanding of the development of the construction industry, from the quality of building to the cost of building work to management, it can be said to be a series of updates. Traditional cost control has been unable to meet the needs of the current society, for consumers, the quality is the most important, including the control and management of project cost. However, for the investors, it is necessary to control the cost and help the control of a large number of funds. This paper carries out work on the cost control and management of the whole process of the construction industry, from the relationship between the two to the suggestions between the two, to improve the economic benefits for the development of the construction industry, and to bring great benefits for the social development.

The enthusiasm of immigrant sending countries around migration and development hinges on the fact that the flow of money, knowledge and universal ideas can have a positive effect on development in these countries. The Canadian Seasonal Agriculture Workers Program (CSAWP) was established in 1966, most of the Social Science literature on this program has emphasized its exploitative and problematic aspects. Without dismissing the significance of the focus and results of other research, this paper examines the social and economic development impact of this program on households and communities in Jamaica. Research done by academics and an analysis of Jamaica‟s newsprint media done for this research reveal that the CSAWP has had positive development impacts. Findings suggest that the program is delivering social and economic benefits to migrant workers and their families. It has increased income, consumption, child schooling and improved health care. In addition to improving the standard of living for migrant workers and their families, the CSAWP has additional benefits at the community and national levels.

<p>With the development of economic globalization, the scale of international trade continues to expand. Ports are very important for cross regional transactions. However, the construction cost is also very high in the actual construction process because port engineering is a relatively large project. Cost management can effectively control the cost and improve the economic benefits of port engineering project construction. The traditional cost management model has been unable to meet the needs because the construction cost control is a dynamic process and runs through the whole process of the project. BIM information technology is a technology with engineering digital model as the core. Based on BIM, this article studies the refined cost management of port engineering project, and aims to provide some help for relevant practitioners.</p>

The quality of human capital plays decisive role in the social and economic development of the country. Education and its quality are essential issue to government. In the learning process the students’ comprehension is important in achieving the determined goal. However there are various factors that affect the students’ performance as socio-demographic, economic and psychologic factors. This paper is aimed to investigate the effect of psychologic factors on academic achievements of students in higher education in the case of the Kyrgyz Turkish ‘Manas’ University. Psychological factors were analyzed using ordered probit model and data that was obtained in 2014 by conducting a questionnaire to 3133 students. According to the results psychological factors significantly affect academic performance of students.

With the increment of public awareness towards ecological environment protection, green building has gradually become an integral part of construction development. Green building refers to a form of architecture that conforms to the current social development form and meets the requisites of energy conservation and environmental protection. The budget and cost control of green building construction project play very important roles in improving the quality of the construction and reducing the cost of the project. This paper mainly analyzes the problems and control measures in the new green building engineering budget and cost control.
