In accordance with the commitment of the World Summit on the Information Society, it is stated that Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) are providers of employment for the community.  In Indonesia, SMMEs are known as UMKM (Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises Indonesia). The existence of ICT is considered capable of increasing economic growth as well as providing new employment field during the Covid-19 Pandemic. One way to encourage the rise of UMKM) is through the Indonesian R-TIK (Indonesia ICT Volunteers). The purpose of this research is to determine the involvement of R-TIK in the UMKM Go Online program.  Whereas the theories and concepts used are the Information Society, Digital Literacy and Empowerment of UMKM.  The research method used is a case study, R-TIK with UMKM in Polewali Mandar, West Sulawesi. The results indicate that digital literacy activities carried out by R-TIK together with the Department of Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, and UMKM encouraged the growth of UMKM in Polewali Mandar. The presence of QRen in the UMKM online program has push the pace of the Indonesian economy in the context of realizing Indonesia as a Digital Energy of Asia.

The debate about whether the digital divide between Africa and the developed world is narrowing or widening has intensified over the last five years. Some believe that access to technology is positively correlated to economic development and wealth creation, however, since the dawn of the last century, the gap between the rich and the poor within and between developed and developing countries has continued to grow. The protagonists in this debate do not seem to appreciate the notion that the digital divide is not about a single technology, and is driven by a complex set of factors that exist beyond wires. This paper attempts to deconstruct the concept of the digital divide beyond access to PCs, telephones, Internet, cable TV, etc… The authors argue that the phenomenon as currently conceived is misleading and flawed, and so are the indices for its measurement. Suggestions that a new model for mapping the phenomenon is made in order to bridge the divide between developed and developing countries. In deconstructing the digital divide, the authors use the Declaration of Principles of the World Summit on Information Society and the indices used to measure e-readiness, information society, digital opportunity, and e-government.

The 1995 Beijing Platform for Action posed strategies to have in media and information technologies an ally for gender equality. “Chapter J” identified core areas for this agenda: content and representation, access of women to decision-making positions at media and ICTs, gender mainstreaming in communication policy, access and use of women to media and ICTs. These strategies were reinforced by the World Summit on Information Society, that pointed out the prominent role of ICTs in women's human rights. The aim of this paper is to contribute to a constructive debate on gender and ICTs, by presenting some of the most significative trends in Latin America.

ABSTRACTBatik is a skill that has high artistic value and has become part of Indonesian culture. Pandono Batik Abstract has unique techniques, patterns and motifs, even more than others, so that it has one style and motif, only one in the world. Given that batik is written batik, the results of the patterns and motifs of Pandono Batik Abstract also have no limitations on certain standards, tend to be abstract and must always be different, this is the advantage of Batik Pandono Abstract Laweyan Surakarta. This research method is carried out by applying a qualitative approach. Qualitative research is a study conducted by conducting observations, observations and interviews. The strategy that will be used in this study is single-embedded. The purpose of this embedded research is that the research is directed at one goal (one location, or one subject) as its main focus. AbstractIndonesia is currently focus in increasing the number of foreign tourists visiting the destination with leisure and business (MICE) purpose. Various ways have been done by Ministry of Tourism, one of them is made applications for mobile users. Applications that have been launched by Ministry of Tourism are 'Pesona Indonesia eBrochure', 'Wonderful Indonesia', and '100 You Must See in Indonesia' which all of that promote Indonesia's famous destination. The applications are quite effective in describing the wonderful things of Indonesian destinations, but has not been able to provide information related to the MICE industry. In this journal will be discussed about the important role of applications on the smartphone as a promotional tool, comparing the three types of applications that have been launched by the Ministry of Tourism of Indonesia, feature plan in 'MICE Indonesia' applications as a result of the development of the previous three applications. The aims of this journal are to describe the important role of mobile application as a promotional tool in the digital era, knowing the advantages and disadvantages of features in the application launched by the Ministry of Tourism, and to make feature design on 'MICE Indonesia' application as MICE promotion tool to the world. This research method is use case study by making comparison with previous product (applications). Pada jurnal ini akan dibahas mengenai peran penting aplikasi pada smartphone sebagai alat promosi, membandingkan ketiga jenis aplikasi yang telah diluncurkan oleh Kementerian Pariwisata Indonesia, serta membuat rancangan aplikasi ‘MICE Indonesia’ sebagai hasil pengembangan ketiga aplikasi sebelumnya. Tujuan yang akan dicapai adalah mengetahui peran penting penggunaan aplikasi pada smartphone sebagai alat promosi di era digital saat ini, mengetahui kekurangan serta kelebihan fitur-fitur dalam aplikasi yang diluncurkan Kementerian Pariwisata, dan membuat rancangan fitur pada aplikasi ‘MICE Indonesia’ sebagai alat promosi MICE kepada dunia. Metode penelitian ini adalah studi kasus yaitu dengan membuat perbandingan dengan produk sebelumnya. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah aplikasi ‘MICE Indonesia’ merupakan alat yang efektif dalam menyajikan informasi terkait MICE dan mampu mendorong pelaku bisnis dunia untuk melakukan kegiatan MICE nya di Indonesia.Kata Kunci: aplikasi, MICE, promosi, smartphone., contribution and important role
