This is a mini research by using literature review to examine the extent of the thought concept about dzahir and bathin meaning by Husain al Dzahabi and other interpreters and then analyzed by linguistics-semantics. Based on the study, the author concludes that: first, the dialogue of thought about dhahir and bathin meaning has produced various characteristics of Qur'anic interpretation as dynamic and meaningful text. Second, dzahir meaning has a clearer character, and is considered stronger as hujjah, but the bathin meaning can also be accepted scientifically if it is supported by the right dalil or qarinah. Third, both in aqli and naqli, the existence of dzahir and bathin meaning is justified. Fourth, the Qur'anic discourse is the more suitable approach in line with the rules of  Qur’anic understanding and the standard of interpretation in Islam.

In the discipline of Islamic law research, strong proofing and clear Istinbat method are key pillars in the construction of Islamic law based on the application of the science of usul al-fiqh and maqasid al-shari'ah. However, what happens at the state of Johor’s fatwa institution is the opposite. The fatwa research methods applied by the Fatwa Committee of Johor in resolving current fatwa issues is not based on the right and true discipline of Islamic law research. In fact, current inputs related to fatwa issues are not explicitly stated in the method of determining the law either in the form of reality or scientifically verified. Therefore, this paper will discuss the fatwa procedures undertaken by the Fatwa Committee of Johor based on the methods applied in resolving current issues. The research methodology adopted is library and interview methods. This study shows that fatwa management and production in the state of Johor is placed under the jurisdiction of the Mufti of Johor’s Department. The methods adopted by the Fatwa Committee of Johor covers two methods, namely: internal research methods including literature review through the application of original source and proofs based on syarak. Second: field research method that includes an external review or going to the location of study such as conducting observation, questionnaires and interviews including referrals to specialists of different fields. Maslahah and mafsdah consideration are also implemented by the Fatwa Committee in every fatwa decision based on the standard that meets the interests of maqasid al-shari'ah. Keywords: Metode, fatwa, istinbat, usul al-fiqh, maqasid al-shari’ah ABSTRAK Dalam disiplin penyelidikan hukum Islam, kekuatan pendalilan dan kaedah istinbat yang jelas merupakan tunggak utama dalam pembinaan hukum Islam berasaskan kepada aplikasi ilmu usul al-fiqh dan maqasid al-shari’ah. Namun begitu, apa yang berlaku di institusi fatwa negeri Johor adalah sebaliknya. Kaedah penyelidikan fatwa yang diaplikasi oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor dalam menyelesaikan isu fatwa semasa tidak berasaskan kepada disiplin penyelidikan hukum Islam yang tepat dan sebenar. Malahan input-input semasa yang berkaitan dengan isu fatwa juga tidak dinyatakan secara jelas dalam kaedah penentuan hukum sama ada dalam bentuk realiti yang berlaku atau pembuktian secara saintifik. Justeru, kertas kerja ini akan membincangkan prosedur fatwa Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor berdasarkan metode-metode yang diaplikasi dalam menyelesaikan isu-isu yang bersifat semasa. Metodologi kajian yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah melalui metode perpustakaan dan metode lapangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahawa pengurusan dan pengeluaran fatwa di negeri Johor hanya terletak di bawah bidang kuasa Jabatan Mufti Johor. Metode fatwa yang diamalkan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa Negeri Johor merangkumi dua metode iaitu pertama, kaedah penyelidikan dalaman yang merangkumi kajian kepustakaan menerusi pengaplikasian dari sumber asas dan dalil-dalil syarak. Kedua, kaedah penyelidikan lapangan yang meliputi kajian luaran atau turun ke lokasi kajian seperti observasi, soal selidik dan temubual dan rujukan kepada pakar dalam bidang yang berlainan. Pertimbangan maslahah dan mafsdah juga dimplementasikan oleh Jawatankuasa Fatwa dalam setiap keputusan fatwanya berasaskan standard yang menepati kepentingan maqasid al-shari’ah. We report a very rare case of squamous cell cancer of the right foot which had metastasize to the ipsilateral popliteal lymph node after initial diagnosis and treatment for the loco-regional disease.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to review and discuss evidence of good practice in respecting care home residents’ right to privacy. The right to privacy is a fundamental human right as enshrined in international and domestic law and standards. In the context of increasing interest in using a human rights approach to social care in care homes for older people, this literature review summarises research evidence on what respecting the human right to privacy of care home residents entails in practice. Design/methodology/approach This literature review followed a rigorous systematic approach to the scoping review, inspired by the Joanna Biggs Institute’s guidelines for conducting systematic reviews. A total of 12 articles were included in the review. Findings The research took a multidimensional understanding of privacy in their studies. The dimensions can be categorised as physical, inter-relational or related to personal data. The review highlights three good practice points. First, it is good privacy practice in care homes to make available single-occupancy bedrooms to residents since this offers the opportunity to personalising this physical space with furniture and web belongings, adding a sense of ownership over the space. Second, residents appreciate being able to choose when and how they spend their time in their own bedrooms. Third, it is good practice to respect residents’ private physical space and private choices, for example by knocking on doors before entering or agreeing with the resident when it is permissible to enter. The review also found that in some studies privacy considerations were relevant to communal living areas within care homes, including the use of surveillance cameras and the sharing of personal data. Originality/value This literature review adds to the body of academic literature on human rights and social care in practice. It also highlights areas for future research relating to the right to privacy in care homes.

AbstractThe background of this article is the author’s concern of students character in using Java language programs at SDN Rejosari, Kemiri Subdistrict, Purworejo. The purpose of this article is to present the importance of Java language programs to strengthen students character. The method used by the author in compiling this article is by literature review. In addition, the author also observed the students’ ability to use Java language programs especially in grade IV, V, and VI. The writer also discussed with the class teachers to find the right solutions in an effort to revive the use of Java language programs. The results of the study in this article find a solution that cultivating Java language programs can be done through exemplary and habituation. Exemplary in using Java language programs can be applied in conversations between teachers in the school environment and between teachers and students. The use of Java language programs in schools can be done during Javanese learning, in informal situations outside the classroom, or on the sidelines of learning activities.AbstrakPenulisan artikel ini dilatarbelakangi oleh keprihatinan penulis akan lunturnya karakter siswa dalam menggunakan unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa di SDN Rejosari, Kecamatan Kemiri, Kabupaten Purworejo. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menyajikan kajian tentang pentingnya unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa dalam penguatan karakter siswa. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam menyusun artikel ini adalah dengan telaah pustaka. Selain itu, penulis juga melakukan observasi terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa utamanya pada siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI, serta berdiskusi dengan guru kelas untuk menemukan solusi yang tepat dalam upaya menggiatkan kembali penggunaan unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa. Hasil kajian dalam artikel ini menemukan solusi bahwa penanaman unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa dapat dilakukan melalui keteladanan dan pembiasaan. Keteladanan dalam menggunakan unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa dapat diterapkan dalam percakapan antarguru di lingkungan sekolah dan antara guru dengan siswa. Pembiasaan penggunaan unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa di sekolah dapat dilakukan pada saat pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa, pada situasi informal di luar kelas, maupun di sela-sela kegiatan pembelajaran.

It is a necessity when the interaction of teachers and students in the learning process will face various problems and obstacles. This article aims to parse what problems occur in the classroom during the Arabic learning process and to find the right solution so that the problems faced can be resolved. This research is qualitative. Collecting data related to writing this article using interviews and direct observation of research subjects and literature review for about two months the author did an internship or PPL. When the writer did observation or mini research, the writer found several problems when the learning process occurred in the classroom. Starting from students getting rowdy when learning, not paying attention to learning, not being able to answer when asked, and there are many other problems when learning Arabic. This can be used as material for evaluation and collective reflection so that our education will be of more quality and quality. Abstrak: Sebuah keniscayaan ketika interaksi guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran akan menghadapi berbagai persoalan dan kendala. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengurai persoalan-persolan apa saja yang terjadi di dalam kelas pada saat proses pembelajaran bahasa Arab berlangsung dan mencarikan solusi yang tepat sehingga persoalan yang dihadapi dapat terselesaikan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data terkait penulisan artikel ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi langsung terhadap subjek penelitian serta kajian pustaka selama kurang lebih dua bulan penulis melakukan magang atau PPL. Saat penulis melakukan obeservasi atau mini riset, penulis menemukan beberapa problematika saat terjadi proses pembelajaran di kelas. Mulai dari siswa gaduh saat pembelajaran, tidak memperhatikan pembelajaran, tidak bisa menjawab saat ditanya, dan masih banyak problem lain saat pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Ini dapat menjadi bahan evaluasi dan renungan bersama, agar pendidikan kita semakin bermutu dan berkualiatas.

All languages, natural and programming, have rules and styles in how to write. These rules and styles mainly aim to make sure that anyone, who understand a language, can understand what the sentence say. In other words, the aim of rules and styles in a language is to deliver an information to reader, and the reader must get the right information. The literature review shows a lack of studies focusing on the code writing standards measurement processes. In this paper, we proposed a framework that can be applied on any programming language, using any standard of that language.
