<p>COVID-19, a pandemic disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, changed the production schemes and supply chains in all spheres of the world’s economy. The agricultural sector in Mexico was no exception, although it has been so essential during the pandemic that its growth was higher than the other sectors of the Mexican economy and it stood out as a food supplier in the world in 2020. Farmers’ vocations and the integration of productive food chains led to a surplus of 1.2 billion dollars, with an annual increase of 39.92%. The pandemic is a challenge and an opportunity for the Mexican countryside in terms of digital and technological innovation derived from border investigation. However, it is crucial to establish public agricultural planning policies to help optimize this area of opportunity by focusing on new production and national and international trade models, responding efficiently to national visions to benefit  producers-consumers and guaranteeing food security in the framework of the UN’s international policies for sustainable development, the IPCC’s reduction of climate impact and ensuring human health by the WHO.</p>

The diffusion of the technological innovation can affect the agricultural sector in the three-sided (social, economic and environmental), a hand, it can contribute to solve problems of the agricultural sector: the effects of the climatic changes, the farming exodus and the migration and the problems of poverty and it can improve the agricultural productivity. But on the other hand, he can lead to new problems, such as depletion of energy resources caused by excessive use of energizing technologies, pollution of air and water and the destruction of soil by industrial waste. This paper aims to theoretically and empirically analyze the role of technological innovation in improving agricultural sustainability through the impact of mechanization on agricultural productivity, energy production and net income per capita for a panel of three Maghreb countries (Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia) during the period 1997-2012. By using simultaneous equations, the authors' finding that technological innovation cannot achieve the purpose of sustainable development in the agriculture sector in the Maghreb countries through the negative impact of mechanization and research and development on agricultural productivity.

The world populationsupposed to reach 9.8 billion by 2050 and is difficult of feed such population . So for feeding the entire population the agriculture sector should be embed with IOT and farmers also should adopt this technology [1]. It is essential to increase the productivity of farming and agricultural process with the help of technologies like IoT.IoT can make farming easier by reducing the cost by decreasing the intervention of farmers in this field through automation. This paper aim is to develop a self- autonomous agriculture system works by connecting physical devices and systems to the internet. IoT is a very promising technology to drive the agricultural sector, it is the backbone for sustainable development mainly in developing countriesthat are experiencing rapid population growth like China, India etc, stressed natural resources, agricultural productivity reduction due to climate change. Hence the paper aims at making the agriculture smart using IoT technologies. The projects include a GPS based robot to perform tasks like weeding, spraying, moisture sensing, bird scaring, keeping vigilance, etc. This project requires smart irrigation with smart control and best decision making based on accurate real time data. Thisincludes crop management, waste management, warehouse management, theft control etc. Controlling of all the operations will be through a remote smart device like phone or computer connected to Internet and the operations will be performed by using sensors, Wi-Fi or ZigBee modules, cellular, LoRa,camera and actuators with micro-controller and raspberry pi [2]

Agriculture is becoming an important growing sector throughout the world due to increasing population. Major challenge in agriculture sector is to improve farm productivity and quality of farming without continuous manual monitoring to meet the rapidly growing demand for food. Apart from increasing population, the climate change is also a big concern in agricultural sector. Thus, rather than performing outdoor irrigation; here a small indoor farming method is performed based on Internet of Things. The smart farming method enables the collection of data and automated farming technique.

The goal is to consider the priority areas of green economy concept: principles, factors, mechanisms and prerequisites for Kazakhstan's transition to the implementation of environmental policy. Objectives – to show the need to develop government programs for the long term and their stages to move towards ecosystems; substantiate that the dynamics of response and effective functioning of the labor market play a key role in facilitating transformation to a resource-saving economy, increasing the number of jobs in this industry. “Green” growth is also an opportunity to expand the labor market. At present, the totality of global environmental and economic threats and challenges has put the world economic science in front of the need to search for new ways of developing the world economy. Methods – in the research methods of scientific analysis, comparison and synthesis were used. Results – the authors carried out a search and proposed a formulation of the most accurate and capacious modern definition of eco-innovation, which unambiguously reflects their essence. Domestic and international scientific developments on the issue of sustainable development of a new model for reducing environmental deficit have been studied. Conclusions – the authors state that in order to comply with international standards, agricultural sector of the republic needs to be updated. Expansion of the organic agriculture sector could be an alternative to the existing management models. The article also focuses on the fact that the concept of "green" economy does not replace the strategy of stable forward movement, but focuses on "green" sectors as new engines of growth aimed at improving the quality of life of the population while minimizing the depletion of natural resources and preserving nature.

Wireless sensor Networks(WSN)are used in Agriculture sector to provide good production chain to meet the requirements of quality and precision. This proposed system describes the development of smart Bio-shed using Raspberry pi and sensors. This system monitors the soil moisture content, water level, Animal detection in the crop, precision agriculture, water pH level and agriculture products storage. By using this proposed system, we can monitor and maintain the farm at any place in the world through the internet. We used different sensors in this system to monitor the crop. The microcontroller controls the whole system. With the help of this system, modern technologies and new ideas can be implemented in the farm sector of our country. With the help of farming website, the farmer can monitor his farm at any place in the world. So that this system reduces the risks present in irrigation sector. This idea motivates the many entrepreneurs to invest in the agricultural sector.


Technology united with research and development has evolved as a grave differentiator of the agriculture sector in India including production, processing, and agriculture packing and marketing of given crops. Near about 50 percent of the Indian workforce was engaged in the agriculture sector but its share in GDP was only 14 percent, much lower in comparison to former. Though, certain agriculture items showed a steady annual increase in terms of kilograms per hectare. Agriculture transformed significantly over the past few decades but when it comes to investment in research and development there is a lot more which needs to be done. The paper analyzes the role of various research and development institutions in boosting the growth of the agriculture sector that helps in attaining sustainable agriculture development and self-sufficiency in the production process since independence. It also focusesed on the various issues faced by these development institutions. The findings unveiled that since independence a lot more was done to boost the research and development in the agriculture sector at both the center and state levels but a proper implementation of these policies along with transparency could bring more desirable outcomes than were gained at present.

Contemporary Yemen has an image-problem. It has long fascinated travelers and artists, and to many the country embodies both Arab and Muslim authenticity; it stands at important geostrategic and commercial crossroads. Yet, strangely, Yemen is globally perceived as somehow both marginal and passive, while also being dangerous and problematic. The Saudi offensive launched in 2015 has made Yemen a victim of regional power struggles, while the global “war on terror” has labelled it a threat to international security. This perception has had disastrous effects without generating real interest in the country or its people. On the contrary, Yemen's complex political dynamics have been largely ignored by international observers--resulting in problematic, if not counterproductive, international policies. Yemen and the World aims at correcting these misconceptions and omissions, putting aside the nature of the world's interest in Yemen to focus on Yemen's role on the global stage. Laurent Bonnefoy uses six areas of modern international exchange--globalization, diplomacy, trade, migration, culture and militant Islamism--to restore Yemen to its place at the heart of contemporary affairs. To understand Yemen, he argues, is to understand the Middle East as a whole.
