Background: E-learning is now being used in a variety of industries, including agriculture. The use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) is seen as essential for overcoming the barriers that a developing country faces in all areas and closing the digital divide. Farmers must be prepared with the most recent breakthroughs in ICTs in order to take advantage of new opportunities in the global market. Methods: By designing an e-learning module and providing farmers with a self-learning framework, the study focuses on the use of ICT instruments in climate-smart horticulture. The psychological factors in this study were investigated using the E-Learning Acceptance Model (ELAM), which was derived from the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative survey of 200 farmers were conducted. Structural equation modelling (SEM) was used to test the research hypotheses. Result: ELAM has enough predictive ability to explain farmers’ behavioural intention to utilise an e-learning module in a real world. In total, the result supports five ELAM hypotheses. The SEM findings indicate that ELAM is a valid model. In ELAM, partial mediation was also observed.

E-learning in higher education is a technique to improve learning and teaching experience, and as a tool to educate students through digital media, with or without the guidance of their instructors. STMIK BI Balikpapan has been using it since 2015, but its implementation has not been as optimal as expected. The research aims to identify the factors that influence the success of the application of e-learning in STMIK BI Balikpapan by referring to the model adopted from TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and TOE (technological, organizational and environment). The research respondents were 94 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) through the Smart PLS program. The results showed that of the four hypotheses tested, one hypotheses had significant influence (habits) and the other three hypotheses were not significant (connections, motivation and facility).

E-learning is a kind of learning by utilizing information and communication technology. The success of using e-learning influenced by various factors. Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) is a model developed by Davis (1989) that is used to find out the acceptance and use of technology. The purpose of TAM is to explain the determinants of computer acceptance in general, which can explain user behavior in various computing technologies of end-users and user populations, saving time and theoretically justified. This model aims to predict and explain the factors that need to be corrected. This study focused on six variables, namely the perception of use, the perception of ease, attitude, and behavior. The analysis technique used to analyze data was SEM (Structural Equation Model) analysis. The research subjects were 262 students. The results of this study were (1) perception of use had a strong effect on the attitude of the use of e-learning, (2) perception of ease had a strong effect on the attitude of the use of e-learning, (3) perception of use had a moderate effect on the behavior of the use of e-learning, (4) perception of ease had a moderate effect on e-learning usage behavior, and (5) strong e-learning attitude toward e-learning behavior. The use of e-learning must pay attention to the user's attitude towards the technology used and the user's perception of the ease of use. With the rapid growth of ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), the traditional educational system has been restructured into e-learning systems. E-learning adoption and acceptance is in rudimentary stages of development in Pakistan. Therefore, it is imperative to understand and evaluate the critical factors of technology adoption and acceptance considering the moderating effect of individual differences (gender and experience) based on Technology Acceptance Model. Quantitative analysis was conducted on 356 learners from the Virtual University of Pakistan. Structural Equation Modelling was used to test research models. The results illustrate that the perception of and intention to adopt technology are highly dependent on gender and experience in using e-learning systems. Computer anxiety and social influence are significant predictors of elearning adoption in female learners whereas social influence and enjoyment is significant predictors in less experienced learners than more experienced learners.

The study developed a theoretical model based on the technology acceptance model (TAM) called the e-learning acceptance model (ELAM) during 2020. Using structural equation modelling (SEM), farmers’ behavioural intention to use (BIU), an e-learning module on Climate-Smart Horticulture was investigated. The facilitating condition, followed by perceived ease of use, attitude toward e-learning, and self-efficacy, was found to be the most influential predictor of behavioural intention to use an e-learning module by the structural equation model (SEM). The endogenous variable BIU having R2 value of 0.62 indicated that the exogenous variables viz., FC (Facilitating Condition), PEU (Perceived Ease of Use), ATT (Attitude toward e-learning) and SE (Self-Efficacy) had jointly explained and predicted 62 per cent of accuracy on BIU in ELAM.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are commonly perceived as an essential part of boosting and stabilizing global economic growth. In 2018, SMEs recorded a 38.3% contribution to GDP of RM521.7 billion compared to RM491.2 billion in 2017. SMEs are expected to contribute 50% to Malaysia's GDP by 2030 relative to its present 38% contribution. However, in the context of Malaysia businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, are still not embracing the latest technology revolution sufficiently, as reported by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (2018). Malaysia is currently in the third industrial revolution (automation), and some are still under the second industrial revolution. Such matter is worrying as only a few industries in Malaysia can adopt pillars of Industry 4.0, where business owners in Malaysia were still hesitant to embrace technologies such as the cloud. To bridge the gap in this analysis, this research adopted the technology acceptance model developed by Davis (1989) and Rogers' Diffusion Innovation Theory (1995), which incorporates the contexts of technology and innovation among SMEs in Malaysia. By using survey questionnaires, data was collected among manufacturing and services SMEs in Malaysia. Structural equation model employed to assess the important factors of innovation in adopting cloud computing among SMEs in Malaysia by using Smart-PLS. Keywords: Cloud computing, Industry 4.0, Innovation, Technological

Social Network Sites (SNS) have very rapidly become part of the daily reality of Internet users in recent years. Firms also use social networks as a two-way communication with their current and potential customers. This exploratory work means to analyze if Internet users’ gender influences the behavior of using social networks. There is a reason for this. Despite Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) acceptance and use being more frequent in men, according to the previous literature, in line with different surveys on the subject, social networks are more used by women. The authors, therefore, analyze in this chapter if there are gender differences in the constructs of technology’s classic models, such as the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) and the TPB (Theory of Planned Behavior). They use a sample of 1,460 university students.

The study aims to uncover the influence of classroom technologies (i.e. a variety of audio-visual and online equipment) on an individual’s (i.e. student’s) learning attitude. The antecedents that were considered relevant in the early post implementation phase were: (1) experience with Information and Communication Technologies, (2) enhanced communications, (3) learner independence and (4) ease of technology use. The original concept for the research was derived from Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which has been a source of numerous studies exploring user attitude towards technology. The outcome indicated a positive and significant relationship between learner independence and individual learner attitude; enhanced communications and individual learner attitude and ease of technology use and individual learner attitude. However the relationship between ICTs experience and individual learner attitude was non-significant. The study outcome implicated that use of classroom technologies, in the introduction stage, does increase with the degree of perceived and encountered ease of use and extended capacity for self-directed learning.
