The learning process in the 2013 curriculum has accommodated learning models that demand and facilitate Critical Thinking skills, but the role of teaching materials namely the Student Worksheet (LKPD) used in the learning process is still lacking in facilitating Critical Thinking skills students. With the existence of quality LKPD, it is expected that learning will be able to achieve the 2013 curriculum objectives. This type of research is a research development with the stages of expert review, one to one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The subjects of the small group evaluation were six students of class XI MIA 2 in SMAN 9 Banjarmasin. The results of the study show the effectiveness of expectations based on the assessment of the critical thinking skills of the participants enjoyed in working on the LKPD which has very good categories (including interpretation, analysis, evaluation, and self-regulation) and good categories (including inference and explanation). Interpersonal (collaborating) and intrapersonal (meticulous) skills of students have excellent categories.

The 2013 curriculum learning process includes three domains, namely affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge), and psychomotor (skills). This study aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Student Worksheet. The research method used is the Tessmer design, which consists of (1) Expert review; (2) one-to-one; (3) small group. Validation subjects were three experts, individual subjects were three students in class X in high school and small group test subjects were six students in class X in high school. The results showed that: (1) the validity of LKPD based on expert testing had a valid category with an overall average of 3.59; (2) the practicality of the contents of LKPD has a good category with an overall average of 3.70 and the practicality of the LKPD's expectations based on the responses of students has a very good category with an overall average of 88.70%; and (3) the effectiveness of LKPD based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills in working on LKPD has both categories (including interpretation) and very good categories (includes analysis, evaluation, inference, explanation, and self-regulation). Interpersonal skills (collaborating) of students have a very good category with a score of 86.33% and intrapersonal skills (conscientious) students have a very good category with a score of 88.33%.

Learning in the 2013 curriculum has one component, namely the existence of teaching materials in the form of student worksheets. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of student worksheets based on critical thinking skills on the Protista concept. This study uses a formative evaluation design method from Tessmer. The student worksheet developed refers to the student worksheets structure according to Daryanto & Dwicahyono, while his critical thinking skills refer to Facione 1990. Subjects in expert review consist of three experts, subjects in one to one evaluation consist of three students in class X high school and the subjects in the small group evaluation consisted of six high school grade X students. The results of research conducted indicate that: 1) student worksheets have a valid category based on the validity test; 2) student worksheets have a good category based on content practicality tests and has a very good category on practicality expectations based on students' responses; and 3) student worksheets has a very good category based on the assessment of students' critical thinking skills on the effectiveness test and has a very good category on interpersonal skills (working together) and intrapersonal skills (thorough).

One of the demands in 21st-century education is critical thinking skills that are considered still lacking. The 2013 curriculum learning process includes three domains, namely affective (attitude), cognitive (knowledge), and psychomotor (skills). One of the learning tools that need to be improved to achieve the 2013 curriculum goals is LKPD. This study aims to develop a student worksheet that is valid, practical, and effective. Critical thinking skills are one of the cognitive skills that are necessary for learners in the 21st century. The government implements the 2013 curriculum to improve learners ' critical thinking skills with one of its components of teaching materials in a student's worksheet (LKPD). The problem is that the use of LKPD is still lacking in facilitating learners ' critical thinking skills. This research aims to develop the LKPD on the concept of biodiversity that is valid, practical, and effective. The research methods used are Tessmer design, which includes: expert review, one-to-one evaluation, and small group evaluation. The LKPD structure was developed referring to Daryanto & Dwicahyono and critical thinking skills referring to the Facione 1990. Subject validation includes three experts, one to one evaluation subjects are three learners of class X SMA, and a small group evaluation subject is six students of class X SMA. The results showed that the effectiveness of expectations seen from the assessment of critical thinking skills of learners in completing the LKPD belongs to a very good category.

The development of experiential learning methodologies is gaining attention, due to its contributions to enhancing education quality. It focuses on developing competencies, and build-up added values, such as creative and critical thinking skills, with the aim of improving the quality of learning. The interdisciplinary mechatronics field accommodates a coherent interactive concurrent design process that facilitates innovation and develops the desired skills by adopting experiential learning approaches. This educational learning process is motivated by implementation, assessment, and reflections. This requires synergizing cognition, perception, and behavior with experience sharing and evaluation. Furthermore, it is supported by knowledge accumulation. The learning process with active student’s engagement (participation and investigation) is integrated with experimental systems that are developed to facilitate experiential learning supported by properly designed lectures, laboratory experiments, and integrated with course projects. This paper aims to enhance education, learning quality, and contribute to the learning process, while stimulating creative and critical thinking skills. The paper has adopted a student-centered learning approach and focuses on developing training tools to improve the hands-on experience and integrate it with project-based learning. The developed experimental systems have their learning indicators where students acquire knowledge and learn the target skills through involvement in the process. This is inspired by collaborative knowledge sharing, brainstorming, and interactive discussions. The learning outcomes from lectures and laboratory experiments are synergized with the project-based learning approach to yield the desired promising results and exhibit the value of learning. The effectiveness of the developed experimental systems along with the adopted project-based learning approach is demonstrated and evaluated during laboratory sessions supporting different courses at Sanyo-Onoda City University, Yamaguchi, Japan, and at the American University in Cairo.

Abstract: The science learning process emphasizes providing direct experience to develop competencies in order to be able to explore and understand the nature around scientifically. students can gain direct experience, so they can add strength to accept and apply the concepts they have learned. Integrated science learning deals with the way students think and develop critical thinking skills. These skills include the ability to think critically, think creatively, and problem solving abilities. Modules are printed teaching materials that are designed to be independently studied by students, Module development is done to improve students' critical thinking skills.

This study aims to produce a science module based on mobile-collaborative-based science learning (m-CBSL) with the topic of temperature and heat and describe the resulting module's validity and practicality. The research design was Educational Design Research (EDR). The data collection techniques used were literature study, walkthrough, interview, and questionnaire. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. Data analysis techniques include descriptive data analysis, validation sheets, and questionnaires. Module validation sheets were given to 5 validators. In contrast, practicality sheets were given to 9 students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Banjarmasin (small group) and 62 students and three science teachers at SMP Negeri 6 & 12 Banjarmasin field test. The validity questionnaire analysis results concluded that the validity of the module was 3.71 "very valid" categories. The practicality level based on the teacher's questionnaire scored 87.04 in the "very practical" category. The small group questionnaire scored 85.19 in the "very practical" category, and the field trial questionnaire scored 86.42 in the "very practical" category. It means that the m-CBSL based science module is valid and practical in the learning process to improve critical thinking skills and collaboration.
