Development of bilateral ties between Russia and Republic of Korea since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1990 are discussed: key trends in evaluation from bilateral cooperation to strategic partnership. Role of PDRK and the ROK in Russia’s foreign policy towards the Korean Peninsula and North East Asia. Close bilateral cooperation in high-tech industries, joint programs of economic development of the Russian Far East are the main factors for successful expansion of Russia-South Korean economic relations in the next 20 years.

The article considers all stages of development of Russian-Chinese interregional cross-border cooperation in the Far East, from chaotic «shuttle trade» to large infrastructure and energy projects. The role of the state in structuring of interregional relations and subordinating them to common ideas is demonstrated with the use of programmatic approach. The implementation of the program of cooperation between the regions of the Far East, Eastern Siberia of the Russian Federation and the North-East of the People's Republic of China (2009-2018) and its significance for the further development of interregional cooperation between countries are ana-lyzed. The role of major infrastructure and energy projects, as well as territories of advanced socio-economic development in Russian-Chinese cross-border cooperation, is considered. The main aspects of the new Program for the Development of Russian-Chinese Cooperation in Trade, Economic and Investment fields in the Russian Far East for 2018-2024 are defined. The prospects for its implementation are estimated

Abstract A description is provided for Arthrocladiella mougeotii. Information is included on the disease caused by the organism, its transmission, geographical distribution, and hosts. DISEASE: Powdery mildew of Lycium species only. The mycelium, conidiophores, conidia and ascomata form first white, then dirty-grey patches on damaged green parts of the host. Infected parts are deformed slightly and, in cases of high infection, plants can lose their ornamental qualities. Damaged leaves can fall prematurely. HOSTS: Lycium barbarum (= L. europaeum), L. chinense, L. dasystemum, L. halimifolium, L. ovatum, L. potaninii, L. rhombifolium, L. ruthenicum. [Type host - Lycium barbarum] GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION: Africa: Canary Islands. The monograph presents the search for solutions to the problems of the Far Eastern region. The proximity of China and the remoteness from the center of Russia make us look for effective measures to overcome the problems of settling the Far East in the context of sustainable economic development of modern Russia. The paper analyzes the problems of the Far East: in industry, agriculture, forestry, energy problems, environmental problems, and provides recommendations for their solution. Considerable attention is paid to migration problems. The experience of China is studied through the prism of bilateral cooperation with Russia. It is intended for students, masters, postgraduates, researchers dealing with issues of macroeconomic regulation and forecasting.

We describe wide distribution and considerable biological and genetical heterogeneity of Rickettsiales in Russia and Ka- zakhstan. R. sibirica subsp. sibirica, R. sibirica subsp. BJ-90, R. slovaca, R. helvetica, R.heilongjiangensis, R.aeschlimannii, R.tarasevichiae were detected in Siberia and Russian Far East. Our results show circulation of R.massiliae genotypes (R.sp.RpA4, R.sp.DnS14, R.sp.DnS28) in Dermacentor ticks, Ehrlichia muris, Anaplasma phagocytophila, «Schotti variant» — in I. persulcatus, H. concinna — in A. bovis. Role of new genotypes of .1Proteobacteria in infectology is in need of further specification.

The article examines the role of the Far East in modern Russian-Mongolian trade and economic relations. Based on the data of customs statistics, the features of mutual trade of the Far Eastern subjects with Mongolia are determined. The factors determining the growing interest of Ulaanbaatar to Russian Far Eastern ports are identified. Author highlights the Mongolian projects of railways construction, potentially aimed at enhancing transport connectivity with Russian territories, especially in the context of mineral raw materials supply diversification. The «bottlenecks» of the transport and logistics environment in the region bordering on Mongolia – the Republic of Buryatia, are shown. The research findings are applicable to management practices, especially those concerning transport and logistics solutions to ensure Russian-Mongolian trade.

The present paper reviews the taxonomic studies of the mite suborder Oribatida in the Russian Far East South and Chinese North-East Territories. At present, 746 species of oribatid mites are registered in China, including 175 species in the soils of Northeast China. In the Russian Far East, there were 605 species of oribatids, including 344 species in the south of the Far East. The fauna of the oribatid mites of the Northeast of China and the south of the Russian Far East has 446 species and subspecies representing 190 genera and 80 families. 72 species of oribatid are common for both territories. The modern fauna of the oribatid mites of the Northeast of China and the south of the Far East was formed as a result of prolonged interaction between the boreal and palaearchaearctic faunas. The oribatid fauna of this region is distinguished by the presence of a large number of endemics, some of which are relics of the late Tertiary time and which can be considered as autochthonous. The checklist includes data from more than 100 locations of this enormous region. In addition, a short climatic and historical review of oribatid mites study is presented.
