The development of logistics information systems that support decision-making, together with the use of business intelligence, provides assistance and support to logistics managers in the decision process, thereby impacting on the quality of business and productivity. Being better informed and having greater intelligence for decision-making can help to create new value and gain competitive advantage. Logistics business systems in a tourism destination appreciate the importance of information and communication technology in the decision process and seek to develop efficient logistics information systems that will make it possible to take better and more appropriate decisions directly aimed at improving business efficiency and productivity.

Nowadays, although the pageraji village government has implemented e-government but more to increase services through the elimination of the old and complicated bureaukasi structure. In this case more information systems are used to speed up and automate processes. There is no information system yet focused on supporting the decision process. Pakkades.id is a type of information system intended to facilitate budgeting mechanisms. In the process of drafting village development budgets, community participation or aspirations are urgently needed. However, there are often obstacles to getting aspirations from the community because the mechanism that is implemented now only through deliberations implemented one day, this will narrow the reach. Therefore, with the implementation of Pakkades.id which is the result of the study authors of the Funding Ristek Dikti 2019 is expected to efficiency and effectively process decision making through the process of capturing the aspirations of the community better.  


An information system translates data into information to support business decision making. Data, raw unorganized facts, are gathered relative to a business event. The resulting information, which has meaning in the hands of a user, must be complete and accurate in order to support timely decision making. The acquisition of an information system by a small business will be a relatively costly endeavour. The small business manager will tend to rely upon an internal individual or external organization for advice when acquiring an information system. Further, the information system will be employed to improve the efficiency of daily operations of a small business. This chapter describes information systems. In general, an information system turns data into information to support decision making. The information must be timely, complete, and accurate relative to the decisions which must be made.

The Pervasive Healthcare Information Provision (PHIP) is a concept that ensures patients are covered with healthcare services with the appropriate information provision together with the technical infrastructure when needed. Clinicians can obtain the real-time information by accessing the electronic patient record that supports decision-making in providing health services. PHIP aims to provide comprehensive healthcare services to its stakeholders covering the social and technical aspect. Information architecture is a high-level map of information requirements of an organisation that possesses business processes and information flows. Organisational semiotics, a fundamental theory for information and communication, helps in understanding the nature of information. It deals with information and information systems in a balanced way, taking account of both the physical space (when physical actions take place) and the information space (which are mainly characterised by information and communication using signs, symbols, and data). Information sharing among multi-stakeholders in decision-making is essential for pervasive healthcare. The information architecture can be reflected in information systems implementation such as Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and other forms. The aim of this chapter is to derive a conceptual model of information architecture for PHIP, including technological implementation via wireless technology. The information architecture serves as requirement engine that covers social and technical needs from both patients and clinicians. The contribution of this research is two fold: 1) establishing the theoretical perspective of information architecture, which serves as backbone to support PHIP, and 2) implementing PHIP via wireless technology and agent-based system.

Entrepreneurial activity of transition countries, such as the RS and BiH, is filled with many threats from the environment, particularly concerning the lack of adequate entrepreneurial education, institutional support as well as the communication infrastructure between them and their significant financial impotence.The potential of SME entrepreneurship represents a significant precondition in the development of the national economy as well as the prerequisite of prevention and / or exit from the economic crisis, provided that their potential is exploited by a planned, not uncontrolled approach. Maximizing of market potential and resource capabilities requires the establishment of an adequate decision-making system where problems are solved through planning, selection, application and measuring of the systemic environment from the aspect of significance, while at the same time, taking into account the internal potentialities.Adequate communication between decision-makers with theoretical models and their effective implementation in business planning enables business systems and SME to achieve maximum business efficiency and effectiveness through the optimal combination of their own potential and business environment. The theoretical model is a virtual tool which is used for symbolic - quantitative description of the real system, where the degree of conformity of the model and the reality which we described in it, is the determining factor in the success of real application of the modeled information.The control problem is solved only by an adequate theoretical model that covers, selects, quantifies and functionally linked internal and external factors of “treated” reality. Functional linking of factors in the applied model must be adapted to decision-making conditions, which concerns the conditions of certainty, uncertainty or risk. The classification of decision makers should go into the direction of recognizing input, random and output variables as well as detecting the conditions and forms of their interdependence, adapted to decision-making conditions.The business system is a goal-oriented system that requires optimization at several different levels to achieve system optimal as an adequate synergic suboptimal resultant.The proposed approach is related to the stochastic optimization of the product portfolio harmonized with market potential, and after that the deterministic optimization of production processes in the function of achieving the optimal production portfolio.The payment matrix as a virtual aid, or a brief summary of possible business results, allows the choice of optimal business strategy with maximum approval of model-based prediction and real business results.

In the article, we understand the term «administrative process» as the statutory procedure for public administration. The author considers the legal framework for introducing e-governance according to modernizing the activities of public administration, which are the main stages of administrative processes. The author believes the implementation of information and communication technologies is an important area for achieving greater efficiency of public administration. The purpose of the article is to conduct a retrospective review and systematization of regulatory and legal support of Ukraine on the implementation of e-governance aimed at modernizing the administrative processes taking place in public administration. The author examines the regulations on informatization, e-governance and digital transformation in terms of the main stages of administrative processes, namely: task definition; preparation for management decisions; decision making; bringing it to the recipients and organization of execution; control over the implementation of the decisions. The author concludes that since the proclamation of Ukraine’s independence in 1991 to the present in regulations on the introduction of information and communication technologies in public administration areas of public policy in the field of informatization and e-governance have significantly changed the administrative processes in public administration bodies. The author states that at the first stages of informatization of public administration in regulatory and legal support the greatest attention in the introduction of information and communication technologies was paid to the main stages of administrative processes. According to the author, the basic principles of information society development in Ukraine, with their focus on citizen participation in governance, have influenced all the main stages of administrative processes. To support, the author systematizes the main stages of information systems used in public administration, namely: information systems for statistical presentation of information are introduced for the stage of «task definition»; information-analytical systems are introduced for the stages «preparation for management decision-making» and «decision-making»; for the stages of «bringing it to the addressees of the decision», «organization of execution» and «control of execution of decisions» electronic document management systems are introduced. In the course of the analysis, the author finds out that the activities of public administration bodies such as «disclosure and access to public information» and «public services providing» in which administrative processes take place have become important. According to the author, the active phase of rule-making support of e-governance shows that the main focus is on providing administrative services in electronic form through web portals and mobile Internet services.

Economics of business decision-making (BDM) is target-oriented into management of the economic flow of business activities. Has a major impact on the level of quality of enterprise's operation. Business decision-making (BDM) is based on information, which shows the characteristics of the decisions and provides an additional and necessary knowledge. The main field of the management of the BDM is presented by the economic treatment of decisions, which are based on various information. The picture of the BDM is illustrated by various sorts, types and forms of information that are primarily created by the target- oriented information systems. These ensure a corresponding structured quality information for BDM at the selected levels of management. Due to the tradition, the usual business information hardly meets criteria of contemporary holism.

The goal of this chapter is to describe a set of concepts for the design of information systems supporting the global decision process in an organization from a management point of view. Managers are responsible for decisions that are crucial for the success of the organization. Supporting decision taking by management in an integrated way means to support the global decision process of the organization and increase its efficiency and resilience. The system is envisaged so that i) each manager has available a decision dashboard to support the flux of decision-making for which he or she is responsible; ii) the dashboards also allow managers to crowdsource from non-managers different aspects of decision iii) the dashboards are connected in a conversational network; iv) this conversational network is so structured to support the global decision process of the organization.

Abstract The objective of the conducted research includes examining importance of financial statements and financial statements analysis in business decision-making process. Conducted empirical research is focused on analysis of determining and evaluating the frequency of using accounting data and annual financial statements within the business decision-making process. According to obtained results, it can be concluded that more than 60% of examines frequently use accounting information and information available from annual financial statements within business decision-making process, and that they are familiar with methods of using technics of financial statements analysis for purposes of evaluating financial position and business efficiency.
