This research aimed to develop an instrument to measure the intrapersonal students’ of skill Electrical Engineering Program at Vocational High School in Bali by using Likert scale. This capability is important in regulating and monitoring personal’s goals during vocational education at SMK. This instrument has been tested to 110 students at Engineering Utilization of Electricity Program in the entire province of Bali. The validation of the instrument through the content validation by the experts, the validation grains measure with Momment Product engineering, and the validation of the construct done by factor analysis. Factor analysis uses the confirmation method Maximum Likelihood (ML) with the conformity or suitability obtained Chi Square amounted to 113,8 (p-value = 0,2622) and Goodness of Fit Index (GFI) by 0.92.

The study aimed to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Appraisal of Self-Care Agency Scale–Revised (ASAS-R-CHI). A cross-sectional design was used to conduct this study, and the sample consisted of 1,219 older people, collected by a demographic questionnaire, ASAS-R-CHI and the Exercise of Self-Care Agency (ESCA) scale. The Cronbach’s alpha (α) of ASAS-R-CHI was .79, the test–retest correlation was 0.95, and the item-to-total correlations ranged from r = .41 to r = .74. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) resulted in three factors that explained 65.31% of the total variance; all 15 items had strong factor loadings ranging from 0.54 to 0.91. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) indicated the three-factor solution of ASAS-R-CHI had a good fit (x2,chi-square/degree of freedom [CMIN/DF] = 2.61, goodness of fitness index [GFI] = 0.93, adjusted goodness of fit index [AGFI] = 0.92,, comparative fit index [CFI = 0.92], Tucker Lewis index [TLI] = 0.91, root mean square error of approximation [RMSEA] = 0.04, root mean residual [RMR] = 0.02, P-value for test of close fit [PCLOSE] = 0.68). ASAS-R-CHI is a short, reliable, and valid instrument for measuring self-care agency among Chinese older adults.

The purpose of this research was to examine the reliability and validity of Bull’s Mental Skills Questionnaire (BMSQ), measuring seven psychological skills resulting in a total scale score, within Turkey. The sample consisting of 163 males and 131 females, totaling 294 athletes, completed the 28 item BMSQ. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were undertaken. EFA results yielded a satisfactory seven-factor solution, the same as the English version. Cronbach alpha (α) reliability indices were as follows: concentration ability (0.71), anxiety and worry management (0.63), relaxation ability (0.69), imagery ability (0.73), self-confidence (0.72), motivation (0.64) and mental preparation (0.52). The BMSQ explained 62% of the total variance. Moreover, model fit indices calculated during CFA for the 28 item and 7 sub-dimensions model of BMSQ indicated an acceptable fit [Chi-Square (ꭓ²)=541.2, df=328, ꭓ²/df=1.65, Root Mean Square Error Approximation (RMSEA)=0.05, Comparative Fit Index (CFI)=0.95, Goodness of Fit Index (GFI)=0.90, Normed Fit Index (NFI)=0.89, and Non Normed Fit Index (NNFI)=0.90]. Thus, the original 7-factor solution was supported with the data collected from Turkish participants. Results demonstrated that the BMSQ is a valid and reliable instrument for the Turkish population.

Back ground and Purpose: Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by excessive and prolonged stress. The purpose of this study is to validate the Vietnamese version of Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey (MBI-GS) for burnout measuring in Vietnam. Methods: using cross-sectional study, factorial validity of MBI-GS was tested by exploratory factor analysis then accompanied by confirmatory factor analysis. Pearson’s correlation is used to check criterion-related validity. Results: the model of three factors structure without item 8 and 9 was suggested as the best fit model with chi-square (X2 = 285.13, P < .0001), root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA = 0.07), comparative fit index (CFI = 0.92), goodness of fit index (GFI = 0.91). Conclusions: The construct validity of Vietnamese version of Maslach Burnout Inventory-General Survey is acceptable for use in future investigations regarding burnout.

AbstractThis research aims to get a proof of the validity career adapt-ability scale in the field of electrical construction. The samples in this research are electrical engineering education students, amounting to 146 students. The data analysis technique used in this research is second order confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The compatibility of theoretical models with empirical data is determined with the coefficients of Chi-Square, p-value, CFI (Comparative Fit Index), and RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation). The validity of each item in the career adapt-ability scale is determined with the value of factor loading, t value, and the significance level. Item is considered valid if the factor load is more than 0.3, the t-value is greater than 1.96, and the significance level is less than 5%. The validity of each factor of career adapt-ability is determined with CR (Construct Reliability) and average variance extracted (AVE). Based on the results of the analysis, it is found that the career adapt-ability instrument in the field of electricity consists of 20 items representing four factors, namely concern, control, curiosity, and confidence are categorized valid. Keywords: Construct Validity, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and Career Adaptability. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh bukti validitas instrumen pengukur konstrak adaptabilitas karier bidang kelistrikan. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah mahasiswa pendidikan teknik elektro yang berjumlah 146 mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis faktor konfirmatori orde kedua. Kesusuaian model teoritis dengan data empiris ditentukan dengan melihat koefisien Chi-Square, p-value, CFI (Comparatie Fit Index), dan RMSEA (Root Mean Square Error of Approxiamation). Validititas tiap item dalam konstrak adaptabilitas karier ditentukan dengan melihat nilai muatan faktor, nilai t, dan taraf signifikasinsi. Item dianggap valid jika muatan faktor lebih dari 0,3, nilai-t lebih besar daripada 1,96, dan taraf signifikansi kurang dari  5%. Validitas tiap faktor dari adaptabilitas karier ditentukan dengan melihat nilai CR (Construct Reliability) dan rerata varian terekstrak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa instrumen adaptabilitas karier bidang kelistrikan terdiri atas 20 butir yang mewakili empat faktor, yaitu perhatian, kontrol, kengintahuan, dan kepercayaan  dapat dinyatakan valid.   Kata Kunci: Validitas Konstrak, Analisis Faktor Konfirmatori, dan Adaptabilitas Karier.

This study focused on developing a scale for measuring Investment Importance Perception in Equity shares (IIPe) of individual investors. Item generation (from equity share investors) and content validity was performed (with expert panel) to gather the initial pool of items for the scale. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was used for item reduction and for establishing the dimensions of IIPe. Further, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was used test the measurement validity. Parameters were estimated with maximum likelihood (ML) through the use of AMOS (version 16). The assumptions for multivariate normality were checked by looking into the skewness and kurtosis value of the individual items of the scale. The chi-square goodness-of-fit test guided evaluation of model fit along with established fit indices such as goodness of fit index (GFI), comparative fit index (CFI), incremental fit index (IFI), standardized root mean square residual (SRMR), root-mean-square error of approximation (RMSEA) and Akaike Information Criterion (AIC).

Burnout is known to negatively impact healthcare providers both physically and mentally and is assessed using the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey (MBI-HSS). Many versions of this tool have been developed for different parts of the world, but there is currently no valid version specifically designed for use in the Gulf Cooperation Council Region. This study aims to use data collected across six different regions in the Gulf Cooperation Council Region to assess the validity and reliability of the MBI-HSS model and develop a version of the MBI-HSS best suited for evaluating burnout levels among the healthcare providers in this region. The MBI-HSS questionnaire adapted by Maslach was distributed to 888 healthcare providers aged 32 years ± 7 years, 231 (26.1%) of whom were males and 651 (73.9%) of whom were females, between 2017 and 2018. The data collected were randomly divided into two subsamples, resulting in a sample with the data of 300 healthcare professionals for exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and 588 healthcare professionals for confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The CFA of the original version of the MBI-HSS yielded a chi-square value of 1897 (p < 0.001), indicating the need for revision. EFA was then used to construct a new model of the MBI-HSS, and a CFA was performed on the second subsample to evaluate the model fit to the data. The EFA produced a 3-factor version that accounted for 56.3% of the total variance, with item 11 of the MBI moved to the Emotional Exhaustion (EE) subscale and item 16 loaded onto Depersonalisation (DP) instead of EE. Additionally, items 18 and 20 were omitted. The reconstructed version had a Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA) value of 0.065 (<0.08), a goodness of fit index (GFI) value of 0.915 (>0.90) and an adjusted goodness of fit index (AGFI) value of 0.893 (>0.8). These results when compared to the CFA of the original model, which produced a GFI value of 0.79, an AGFI value of 0.74 and an RMSEA value of 0.09 (>0.08), indicate that this new version has a more satisfactory fit to the data and should be used when assessing burnout in the Gulf Cooperation Council Region.

Background: The theory of Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing (TCCN) was developed by Locsin (2005) to guide the expression of “technological competency as caring in nursing” among practicing nurses. While the Technological Competency as Caring in Nursing Instrument (TCCNI) was developed and translated into other languages, no instrument measuring the TCCN among Japanese nurses was developed and tested. Thus, the Perceived Inventory of Technological Competency of Caring in Nursing (PITCCN) was developed and improved. Aim: The aim of this study was to validate the PITCCN using construct validity through structural equation modeling (SEM). Methods: The PITCCN is a four-factor questionnaire. The PITCCN was distributed to four hospitals (402 nurses) from selected Shikoku District in Japan. The theoretical model was tested using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). Exploratory factor analysis and CFA via a SEM were used to justify construct validity, and Cronbach’s alpha coefficient was determined to establish reliability of constructs using SPSS and AMOS 25.0. Results: Finding shows that the chosen fit index test like Tucker Lewis Index (TLI), Goodness of Fit Index (GFI), and Normed Fit Index (NFI) are greater than 0.80 as set by the requirement. The values of the chi-square/degree of freedom (CMIN/DF), Comparative Fit Index (CFI), Incremental Fit Index (IFI), and Root Mean Square of Error Approximation (RMSEA) showed acceptable to good fit. Conclusion: GFI of the structure model was acceptable.

The current study includes Urdu translation and validation of Borderline Personality Features Scale–11 (BPFS-11) in two phases. Phase 1 included forward and back translation of BPFS-11, and Phase 2 included establishment of psychometric properties for BPFS-11. For this purpose, 930 adolescents were selected from different hospitals, schools, and colleges. The reliability value of the scale was .72. Exploratory factor analysis revealed factor structure with four principal dimensions; besides confirmatory factor analysis, goodness-of-fit indices indicated good fit of model to data, and two dimensions of scale and factors showed good values of internal consistency. The obtained value for goodness-of-fit index was .995, for adjusted goodness-of-fit index was .989, for comparative fit index was .998, for incremental fit index was .998, and for root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) value was .019. Good values of composite reliability and convergent validity were measured for both dimensions of the scale. The analysis of criterion-related validity showed significant positive correlation of BPFS-11 with Affective Lability Scale, Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory, and neuroticism scale of Big Five Inventory. Significant differences were found between scores of individuals having borderline personality disorder and scores of normal individuals. The results of the current study indicated that BPFS-11 is short and easily administered diagnostic tool that has good psychometric properties and can be helpful for diagnosis of borderline personality features in adolescents. It can enhance the understanding of the participants regarding the statements of the scale for Urdu natives.

Konflik, perselisihan, dan pertentangan dapat terjadi dimana saja, kapan saja, antar siapa saja dan menyangkut hal apa saja, sehingga konflik pun dapat terjadi ditempat kerja. Dalam lingkungan kerja, konflik antar karyawan yang terjadi sebaiknya diselesaikan dengan baik karena konflik yang dapat diselesaikan akan menurunkan tingkat stres dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Dari latar belakang tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyelesaian konflik antar karyawan terhadap stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan pada PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk Surabaya. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian maka teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan program AMOS 4.01. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah penyelesaian konflik antar karyawan yang terdiri dari : variabel kerjasama, variabel bersaing, variabel menghindar, variabel akomodasi dan variabel kompromi, sedangkan variabel terikat yang digunakan adalah variabel stres kerja dan variabel kinerja karyawan. Data yang digunakan didasarkan pada hasil kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden, responden pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk Surabaya. Analisis hasil pengujian Goodness-Of Fit Index, menunjukkan data mempunyai kecocokan yang baik dengan model penelitian dengan hasil Chi Square = 154,229 dan koefisien determinan ( R2 ) dalam model SEM ditunjukkan oleh nilai AGFI = 0,792 yang masih berada di bawah Cut Off Value, namun sudah dapat dikatakan bahwa model sudah Fit dalam uji model SEM. Model menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh langsung antara variabel kerjasama, bersaing, menghindar, akomodasi dan kompromi terhadap stres kerja dan kinerja karyawan. Karyawan PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, Tbk Surabaya lebih menyukai penyelesaian konflik dengan cara Kompromi hal ini didasarkan pada perhitungan dari data yang diolah bahwa penyelesaian konflik antar karyawan dengan cara ini memberikan kontribusi terbesar dalam menurunkan stres kerja, sedangkan penyelesaian konflik antar karyawan dengan cara bersaing memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap kinerja karyawan. Karyawan menganggap bahwa kedua cara ini dianggap sebagai cara yang efektif dalam menciptakan hubungan kerja dan terciptanya keharmonisan dalam berorganisasi.
