The connotation of autonomous learning is expanding as time progressed. Under the background of “Internet plus” education, colleges and universities pay more attention to the application of network teaching resources in teaching. Universities intensified the reform of college English teaching and built platforms for autonomous learning, supplementing the shortcomings of English classroom teaching and improving students' autonomous learning ability. This paper takes local college students as the research object, makes an investigation and analyzes the situations of college students autonomous learning. The findings suggested that the following questions are addressed: lack of motivation of autonomous learning, lack of self-exploration of effective learning strategies, lack of the ability of multiple interactions. This paper will give relevant strategies for building a platform for college English autonomous learning to promote and cultivate students' independent learning ability of foreign languages.

Since the 21st century, the cultivation and improvement of college students' English autonomous learning ability have become an important symbol of deepening the reform of College English teaching. The reform of teaching model is the critical to it. With the help of the self-constructed flipped classroom teaching model, this paper designs the corresponding teaching process, aiming at investigating the three dimensions of self-management learning ability, self-learning psychology and self-learning behavior of non-English majors. After the investigation and experiment on the control class and the experimental class for the whole semester, the experimental results show that the self-regulated learning model of College English based on the flipped classroom can greatly improve the comprehensive English level of College students, and the flipped classroom teaching model of College English can effectively improve the students' self-management learning ability, stimulate students 'motivation of autonomous learning and activate students' autonomous learning behavior. Thus, it opens up a new path for the cultivation of College Students 'autonomous learning ability.

The research investigates undergraduates’ English abilities of autonomous learning in the environment of ecological affordance. It proves that their abilities are significantly different before and after independent learning in one semester, and they can actively try their own learning strategies and achieve good results in English learning, which reflects the success of cultivating the ability of autonomous learning. And it also holds that it is a good ecological affordance when learners could sense and understand abundant learning resources under their teachers’ effective guidance, and thus arouse enough enthusiasm for English learning to guarantee the quality of College English instruction.

In college education, more emphasis is placed on the subjectivity and freedom of students, so weak self-control often affects the final learning effect in English learning. Learning foreign language needs patience, so how to cultivate college students' self-learning ability is one of the problems worth thinking about in the current education. The cultivation of students' autonomous learning ability will directly affect the teaching efficiency of teachers, so in the process of teaching, teachers should consciously cultivate students' autonomous awareness of English learning, so as to improve students' self-control ability and optimize the effect of English learning. This paper is mainly based on the current situation of college students' autonomous learning ability, and gives corresponding optimization strategies, in order to better enhance students' enthusiasm in English learning.

With College English teaching reform unceasingly moving forward, the network language learning mode requires that students should have stronger autonomous learning ability. The use of learning strategies tends to determine the effects of the autonomous language learning in the network autonomous learning environment. The empirical study in this paper aims to explore the effective and efficient use of learning strategies in the network autonomous learning environment through a questionnaire. The results of the survey show that students’ ineffective use of learning strategies has undermined the effect of their network mode of learning. It is suggested that teachers should consciously strengthen teaching and training students how to use learning strategies in the network autonomous learning environment.

Motivation for reform and development for teaching of college English is strengthened by the increasing popularity of computers and global network technology. This paper analyzes the relationship between computer network teaching and the improvement of students’ autonomous learning ability, and the advantage of computer network teaching in actual teaching based on reviewing the theoretical basis and several learning models for autonomous learning done in the spirit of College English Curriculum Requirements issued in 2008. The promotion of a new teaching model for the improvement of students’ autonomous learning ability has been verified by the research and survey on teaching model of college English under the environment of computer network in Xi-dian University.

With the rapid development of information technology, flipped classroom as a new type of mixed teaching mode relying on computer technology has changed the traditional teaching mode and formed a teaching process of “learning first and teaching later,” and it has been used in many fields of teaching. Flipped classroom reverses the sequence of traditional teaching knowledge transfer and knowledge internalization and improves students’ autonomy. However, it is still in the exploratory stage of the specific impact of the flipped classroom teaching model on college students’ English autonomous learning ability. Therefore, this article proposes a novel college English flipped classroom teaching model based on big data and deep neural networks. The study has selected a total of 230 students in two classes of the second-year English major of a university as the research objects. Data are utilized to investigate the changes of the two groups of students’ English autonomous learning ability and English academic performance, to explore the specific changes of college students’ English autonomous learning ability and its influencing factors through interviews, and to predict and effectively analyze the weight of influencing factors through the deep neural network. This research enriches the theoretical research results of college students’ English autonomous learning ability under the flipped classroom teaching model, provides reference for the cultivation of college students’ English autonomous learning ability, and has certain reference significance for the optimization of the flipped classroom teaching model. The proposed research will support researchers and practitioners at college and university level.

College English, as a compulsory course in college, requires students to put a lot of energy into it. While providing students with high-quality teachers, colleges and universities should also create a good English learning environment for students. According to each student's learning habits and English foundation, an English learning platform should be built for students to meet the needs of different students as much as possible, that is, college English teaching resource database. The establishment of English teaching resource base should be based on information and network technology and popularized through campus network. At present, online English teaching resources on campus are insufficient, relevant equipment is idle, and teaching resources are seriously wasted, which cannot stimulate students' interest in learning English and cultivate their self-learning ability. This paper discusses the application and improvement of the existing college English resource base.

The cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability is one of the significant and essential tasks of college English teaching. In this paper, the current situation of college students’ insufficient autonomous English learning ability is thoroughly analyzed. Some effective and feasible strategies to cultivate students’ autonomous English learning ability are put forward based on the factors that influence this ability. Interaction, continuous thinking, cultural introduction and a good network environment are indispensable to develop and enhance this autonomous learning ability.
