Today, Information Technology (IT) becomes an integral part of human life. IT boosts every sector, such as infrastructure, economics, agriculture, social, organization, and politics. The institutional systems are developed according to the specific business requirements, processes, flows, and security. Pos Lintas Batas Negara ‘integrated cross-border post’ (PLBN) is a designated authority consisting of the Custom, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ). Each section has a different Standard Operation Procedure (SOP). This research aims to develop a secure information system based on Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) concepts. The CIA is embedded in the ISO 27001 and McCumber Cube approach. The research focuses on the Secure Immigration Information System (SIIS). This research is conducted in the Wini immigration office. The researchers observe the immigration activities on the location, interview the immigration officers, and collect information. The researchers produce an effective, efficient, and security application prototype system.

The practical recommendations for the implementation of Advance Passenger Information System (API / PNR) were described in the article with the aim to use such system as a counteracting cross-border threats tool. The national approaches to the legal regulation of API / PNR data collection, storage and processing data on air passengers are analyzed. Since there is no complete system for processing Advance Passenger Information in Ukraine and currently it is possible only to check API information through national databases, tactical tasks for the system implementation in Ukraine have been identified based on a foreign experience review. It is argued that the implementation of such a systems will assist to ensure more effective and reliable protection of border security, in particular: helps to improve border control and increase the effectiveness of the fight against terrorism, organized crime, as well as facilitates to regulate migration; allows to reduce the workload of border control officers through the use of technology and automated means; improves people’s perception of security and facilitates more comfortable and smooth border crossing for law-abiding passengers; complements the procedures for checking documents and data (checking passports according to databases). The order of actions for system implementing is proposed. It is includes: development of needs and goals, determination of basic parameters of the national system, regulation of legal support for the functioning of the system (legal guarantees of personal data protection, legal base of data collection, exchange and processing), establishing of interagency cooperation mechanism.

This paper presents analysis of Micro-Porosity defect in product Crankshaft - Ductile cast iron (FCD 700/2), which has been carried out at one of Automotive Foundry Company in Malaysia. Systematic analyses like cause-effect diagram and defect diagnostic study approach were carried out to understand the root causes of the micro-porosity. From the data analysis there are two significant factors are identified that affect the formation of micro-porosity, they are mold factor and metal factor. Four remedial countermeasures have been proposed to prevent micro-porosity; increase squeezes pressure at molding machine, control sand moisture, increase radius at edge of mold, and reduce Magnesium (Mg) content. Result of the trials showed substantial reduction of micro-porosity defect in crankshaft (casting). The company has accepted the countermeasure and incorporated in the standard operation procedure.

Due to their behavior, they tend to have obsessive interest, no empathy and moral reasoning. Previous cases in Western countries show that some of them are also involved with serious criminal offences such as killing, arson, random shooting, cybercrime and sexual offences. In Malaysia, increasing amount of autism with the ratio of 1 to 68 of normal or mentally sound individual resulted in the necessity to address specific legal rights of autism who may involve in criminal. Meanwhile, the standard operation procedure (SOP) used during detention and interrogation procedure of mentally sound individual is also applied towards any suspect including individual with autism. The enforcement of the SOP eventually lead to arises of various problems, reaction and question from the aspect of the validity of the action and legal rights of autism. The objective of the study is to analyze the character of autism that tends to criminal’s behavior and the need to create specific SOP for detention and interrogation of individual with autism. The research framework is content analysis. The method of gathering data is semi-structure interview with police, senior counselor and psychiatrist in the field of autism as well as teachers of special education programmed. The implication of the discussion discovers the need to have specific SOP of detention and interrogation for individual with autism in order to guarantee criminal legal rights of individual with autism.

Abstract This study aims to ascertain the long-term epidemic trends of malaria and evaluates the probability of achieving the eradication goal by 2020 in China. Data on malaria incidence and deaths were extracted from the China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention. The epidemic trends by sex, age and spatial distribution and predictions of malaria were estimated by using Joinpoint and Poisson regressions. From 1950 to 2016, 227 668 374 malaria cases were reported in China, with an annualised average incidence of 337.02 (336.98–337.07, 95% confidence interval (CI)) per 100 000 population. The incidence decreased with an average annual per cent change (AAPC) of −11.4% (−16.6 to −6.0). There were 36 085 malaria deaths, with an annualised average mortality of 0.534 (0.529–0.540) per 1 000 000 population. The mortality decreased with an AAPC of −8.7% (−13.7 to −3.4). The predicted number of malaria cases and deaths for 2020 is 2 562 and 10, respectively, and zero for indigenous cases. The disease burden of malaria dramatically decreased in China. Though, the goal of malaria elimination is realistic by 2020 in China, routine clinical and entomological surveillance should be continually conducted, especially for the cross-border areas and imported malaria cases.

Phacoemulsification combined with intraocular lens (IOL) implantation is the international standard operation procedure for cataract and has been generalized worldwide. However, lens capsule opacification, one of the common complications after cataract surgery, impacts the recovery of patients’ visual function to a large extent. Lens capsule opacification has two types, anterior capsule opacification (ACO) and posterior capsule opacification (PCO), according to the location. There is not an accepted approach to treat ACO. Nd : YAG laser capsulotomy, the common treatment of PCO, can effectively improve the vision, but may cause a series of complications and is inappropriate for children who are too young to cooperate with this treatment. It is generally known that the responses of lens epithelial cells (LECs) after cataract surgery, including cell proliferation, migration, and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), play a key role in the pathogenesis of lens capsule opacification. Scholars found that substantial drugs can reduce the occurrence of lens capsule opacification by inhibiting, clearing, or killing LECs, and made great efforts as well as innovations on the exploration of drug species or modes of administration. This article is a systematic interpretation and elaboration about how to prevent lens capsule opacification after cataract surgery via different drugs.
