There are some anomalies happenning when the shares are traded in the secondary market or stock exchange. When the shares price at the secondary market is higher than the primary market, then we say that there is a positive initial return or underpricing happened. The opposite is negative initial return or overpricing. The purpose of this research is to to study whether the underwriter’s reputation, auditor’s reputation, value of the share offering, percentage of the share offering, and earnings per share towards the IPO price influence the one day initial return, one month return, and one year return after the IPO. The objects of the research are 92 companies that went public through the Jakarta stock exchange market during 1999-2005 that had either positive or negative initial return. This research is done using multiple regression analysis with F Test, t Test, R2 Test, and classic assumption testing. The result indicates that only the value of the share offering variable that significantly influence the one day initial return and one month initial return negatively. For the one year return regression model, only the one month return that significantly influence the return one year after the IPO positively. It can be concluded that the higher the value of the share offering the smaller the one day initial return and one month initial return will be, and thus minimizing the positive initial return. Furthermore, the higher the one month initial return the higher also the one year return after the IPO.

The colleting data techniques used are library research and documentation from the Jakarta Stock Exchange. After data collected, it will be calculated and tested with statistic test in order to get a result. This research conducted at mining manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2014 and obtained 76 sample companies. The method used is multiple regression analysis. The result showed only institutional ownership affecting CSR disclosure. This suggests institutional ownership structure can act in monitoring the company. Independent board has not effected on CSR, it failed to monitor the actions of top management. Profitability has not effected on the disclosure of CSR, it enabled the company to have two perspectives on CSR. The most companies view CSR as a deduction from earnings. CSR disclosure has not affect the size of the CSR disclosure area.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v16i2.5236

This study investigates the short-run performance of initial public offerings in Australia. Based on sources from the Morningstar DatAnalysis database, we analyzed 211 Australian publicly traded initial public offerings (IPO) listed on the Australian stock exchange between January 2011 and December 2015 using multiple regression analysis with dummies to represent industry and listing year. According to our analysis, total market return indicates an IPO underpricing phenomenon whereas secondary market shows an overpricing scenario. Moreover, this analysis supports the contention that short-run performance fluctuations were based on the listing year and industry settings. This study contributes to the literature by analysing the short-run performance of both the primary and secondary markets
