Objective of this paper is to analyze determinant of implementation quality ofcorporate governance in companies listing in Indonesian Stock Exchange during period 2004-2008.Population in this study is entire listed companies in Indonesia Capital Market amountto 389 companies. Purposive samping is used to determine sample usage. The samples arefifty companies but one company is relaxed because of outlier. Analysis method used in thisstudy is multiple regression.This study concludes that determinants of implementation quality of corporategovernance are ownership concentration, investment opportunity set, and leverage.Simultaneously, they affect significantly to implementation quality of corporate governancewith F-value is 3.301 (sig. 0.029). Meanwhile, individually variable leverage affectssignificantly to implementation quality of corporate governance with t-value is 2.694 (sig.0.016).Key words: corporate governance, ownership concentration, investment opportunity set,leverage.

The quality of earnings reported in the financial statements is one of the key factors to make a decision. This study aims to examine the effect of the mechanism of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), which is proxied by board of commissioner and institutional ownership, the investment opportunity set and the size of the company to the quality of earnings.<br />The sample used in this researchwere LQ45 companies listed at the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012-2015.Samples are collected by purposive sampling and resulted in 15 firms as the final sample. The statistic method used was multiplied analysis linear regression, with hypotheses testing of statistic t tests (α = 5%).<br />The results of this research showed that the institutional ownership has a significant influence to the quality of earnings, while board of commissioner, investment opportunity set and the size of the company has no significant influence to the quality of earnings.<br />Keywords : good corporate governance, board of commissioner, institutional ownership, investment opportunity set, size of the company, quality of earnings.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to test the impact of corporate governance and investment opportunity set toward dividend policy with earnings management as intervening variable. The sample of this study is non-financial firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and also a member of Corporate Governance Perception Index on 2012 and 2013. The method that used in this study is multiple regression. The results showed that company with strong corporate governance really cared about shareholders interests by giving high dividend for them. Meanwhile, earnings management has no impact toward dividend policy.

This research is aimed at examining and analyzing the effect of investment opportunity set (IOS), liquidity, leverage and accounting conservatism on the quality of profit at manufacturing company before and after the adoption of IFRS. This research was classified as associative research. The samples used are 52 manufacturing companies registred at Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period of 2008-2013. The analysis employed multiple linear regression and paired sample t-test. The research showed that IOS variable and liquidity do not significantly affect on the quality of profit before and after the adoption of IFRS. While, leverage variable does not significantly affect the quality of profit before the adoption, but it does significantly after the adoption. Then, accounting conservatism variable had significantly affect on the quality of profit before and after the adoption of IFRS. The paired sample t-test showed that there is difference in quality of profit, liquidity, and accounting conservatism before and after the adoption of IFRS. While this research showed that IOS and leverage are different either before or after the adoption of IFRS.Keywords : quality of profit, investment opportunity set (IOS), liquidity, leverage and acounting conservatism.

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance mechanisms (consisting of institutional ownership and managerial ownership) and investment opportunity set (IOS) on earnings quality. The population in this study are companies with types of manufacturing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013 to 2017. The sample was obtained using a purposive random sampling method. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that the mechanism of good corporate governance did not affect earnings quality, and investment opportunity set (IOS) affected earnings quality. This research aims to test, analyse and explain the influence of corporate assets and Investment Opportnity Set to profit. The method used in this research is a descriptive method of verifiable with a quantitative approach that is sourced from financial statements and annual reports in various industry sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013-2018. Sampling techniques using the purposive sampling method. The Data obtained is analyzed by classical assumption test testing, multiple linear regression analysis and hypotheses test using T test and F test. This research uses SPPS version 25 program to process data. The results showed that the company asset has significant effect on the profit and investment opportunity set has no effect on the quality of profit while simultaneously the company size and investment opportunity set does not affect the quality of profit

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of investment opportunity set, total asset turn over, and earning per share on cash dividend at manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during 2009 until 2013. The method used in this research is purposive sampling method. The sample of this research is manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2009 until 2013, there are 35 manufacturing company observations fulfilling the sample criteria. The analysis method used in the research is multiple regression analysis. The result of this research show that (1) investment opportunity set, total asset turn over, and earning per share simultaneously have an effect on the cash dividend, (2) total asset turn over, and earning per share partially have an effect on the cash dividend (3) investment opportunity set have not effect on the cash dividend.

The manufacturing company's profit information is useful for the right decision-making. This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, liquidity, audit firm reputation, conservatism, investment opportunity set (IOS), independent commissioner and institutional ownership of earnings quality at manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2012-2016. This research also use control variable that is return on asset (ROA). The sampling method used is purposive sampling technique. The sample used is as many as 100 manufacturing companies listed on the IDX. Data analysis in this research use multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that leverage, liquidity, conservatism, independent commissioner and institutional ownership have no effect on earnings quality either using control variable or without control variable. Investment opportunity set variables affect the quality of earnings when testing without using control variables. While when tested by using control variables, investment opportunity set has no effect on earnings quality. Audit firm reputation has an effect on the quality of earnings both when using control variables and without control variables.

There were two aims of the research. The first one was to test the influence of corporate governance structures: institution ownership, public ownership, and board of director structure--toward the corporate performance, and the second aim was to test the possibility of investment opportunity set variable (IOS) play the role as a mediated variable between corporate governance structure and corporate performance. Previous researches done on the same topic had dominantly focused on direct relationship of corporate governance and corporate performance. So far, the results of those researches were not conclusive yet. The banking corporations used as the sample were taken from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (Jakarta Stock Exchange) which were active during the period of 2005-2011. Among 27 corporations, there were only 20 that fulfilled the sample requirements. The data were collecting by using pooling method ( data panel ) within 147 investigations. The test results substructure one that examines the effect of institutional ownership, public ownership and composition of the board of directors of the investment opportunity set, showing the ownership structure (institutional ownership and public) did not significantly influence the investment opportunity, while the composition of the board of commissioners statistically have an influence on the investment opportunity set , Based on testing substructure 2 which tested the effect of the structure of institutional ownership, structure of public ownership, the board and the investment opportunity set on firm performance indicate ownership variables Institutional has no significant effect on the performance of commercial banks Conventional loan portfolio on SMEs, while public ownership, the composition of the board of commissioners and the investment opportunity set has a significant influence on the company's performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the efect of frm size, capital structure, liquidity and investment opportunity set (IOS) simultaneously and partially on the quality of earnings. Population in the study was all manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange in 2008-2012. Sampling using purposive sampling technique that is specifc sample selection criteria, so that in can be sampled in this study were 360 companies manufacturing (72 per company). The analytical method used was the multiple linear regression. Te result shows simultaneous testing showed that the size of the company, capital structure, liquidity and investment opportunity set (IOS) efect on earnings quality. Partially, company size and liquidity signifcant positive efect on the quality of earnings. Capital structure and investment opportunity set (IOS) signifcant negative efect on the quality of earnings.Keywords: company size, capital structure, liquidity, investment opportunity set (IOS) and the quality of earnings.
