Strategic Supply Chain Partnering in Industrialised Building System

The purpose of this paper is to explore the concept of supply chain partnering practiced in Industrialised Building System. The relationship was based on the elements of trust, share a vision, decision-making and continuous improvement. The methodology adopted used quantitative and qualitative approach. Outcomes of the results, the public clients point out on the element of trust in between contractors were based effectiveness of communication. There are queries on the halal status of food among Muslim consumers due to the accessibility of halal knowledge via mass media, and this needs for the jurists’ clarification (fatwa). Thus, this paper seeks to examine the determinant factors of fatwa’s decisions on food-related issues based on the approach of ‘urf. A qualitative approach which involved document analysis technique was applied from various authoritative sources. Furthermore, content analysis and constant comparative methods were used to analyze the data. This study will assist policymakers in dealing with food-related issues and help the public in identifying the rationale of the fatwa’s decisions. WOM has been acknowledged as the ultimate driver for a success of restaurant business and these studies focus attributes of WOM toward purchase decision. This study focuses on the relationship between attributes of WOM towards purchase decision in Malay Upscale Restaurant. The study analyses service quality, food quality, physical environment quality and price as the focus attributes towards decision making of the Malay upscale post purchase. 300 respondents were used for this studies. A multiple regression analysis was undertaken to analyse the data. The results has shown that physical environment quality bring the most impact on the (WOM).2398-4279 © 2016. The Authors. Fear of crimes has been led to restrictions on freedom residents and prevented them from participating in the public domain. One of the strategies to overcome the crime is (CPTED) which emphasizes on decreasing delinquencies by urban design and through modelling it's principles in public open spaces. A survey on the perception of the relationship between support of social activities and fear of crime among 60 residents in Omid Residential Complex was conducted. The results found that the usage location, providing usage in the abandoned spaces and usage combination, have the highest impact on the residents' place attachment, respectively. The extraordinary societal challenges demand cities to be innovative and adaptable to the needs of urban citizens. In the Malaysian context, the Blue-Green Infrastructure (BGI) has not been well incorporated into the ULLs. This paper seeks to address this gap by exploring the potential of the Blue-Green Urban Living Labs (BGULLs) at the Sungai Bunus catchment area. Using Google Form, survey questionnaire is conducted among professionals and the public. Pruning is one of the most crucial tree maintenance activities which give an impact on the tree's health and structure. Besides, improper pruning will contribute to the risk of injury to property and the public. This study aims to assess pruning knowledge among four Local authorities in Malaysia. Results found that 69.3 percent of tree pruning workers have a Good pruning knowledge level. However, Topping, pruning types and pruning cut dimension shows the lowest mean percentage of the correct answer. The findings also show that there is a significant positive relationship between pruning knowledge and education level and frequency attending pruning courses.Keywords: Tree pruning; knowledge; sustainable practices; urban treeseISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. The work satisfaction among nurses is essential in a healthcare system. Nurse satisfaction may refer to the motivation to stay in the nursing profession and the organization in which they are satisfied with. The study aim to determine the level of work satisfaction among Intensive Care nurses and examined the relationship between Herzberg’s motivation and hygiene factors. The study used a quantitative design with a theoretical framework based on Herzberg’s theory. A total of 218 nurses from the Intensive Care Unit were selected. The objective of the main research is to investigate the current state of implementation of mechanisation and automation in the Industrialised Building System (IBS). The aim of this paper however, is to provide an overview on the implementation of mechanisation and automation in the IBS construction approach. Questionnaire survey and semi structured interviews were conducted to collect the viewpoints among contractors and manufacturers of IBS to ensure the richness of the data collected. The results illustrated that although most respondents have agreed on most critical issues in the implementation of mechanisation and automation, they were not ready to move forward. These responses were quite consistent across the professions. Since the open space quality and quantity becomes decline in many cities of developing countries, the research means to identify the relationship between quality of public open space (POS) and quality of life (QOL) in Medan, Indonesia. The study measured the level of satisfaction of the visitors of POS by using five scale Likert Scale. The analysis shows that people perceived ‘function’ as the most significant factor for POS and ‘health’ as the most important aspect for QOL.
