Children subjected to suspensions and expulsions from schools are often more susceptible to truancy and anti-social behaviour. Therefore, the objectives of this paper are (a) to examine the adequacy of the existing legal framework in providing effective crime prevention measures in schools and whether the laws are meeting the international legal framework; and (b) to propose viable crime prevention measures that help address the disciplinary problems in schools. A qualitative study is undertaken to meet these objectives, and the findings from this study can help schools develop more holistic measures in addressing disciplinary cases of children in schools. The adverse effects of the pre-trial process on child offenders are damaging, particularly on their mental, emotional and physical developments. This study adopted the qualitative design, and the results indicate that the majority of the child offenders affirmed that they were subjected to some forms of ill-treatment during the pre-trial process, particularly during the investigation stage, where they are subjected to questioning. Thus, the results can facilitate the policymakers in strengthening and developing the current laws and policies and to introduce diversion programmes as an alternative to the juvenile justice system in Malaysia. The city of Cairo - since the beginning of the third millennium - has witnessed a constructional expansion of new cities for people of class A to live within gated communities, which provide luxury and safety. This research aims to identify the tangible and intangible needs from the occupants’ and the interior designer’s perspective, due to the diversity of these needs. This paper aimed to complete a rigorous, systematic exploration of the literature investigating the effects of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. We identified 13 papers that report empirical evidence on the effect of psychological factors on the financial well-being in Malaysia context. The findings conclude that the studies in financial well-being are focusing on four groups of respondents namely college student, young employees, singles mothers and Muslim individual and the eleven types of psychological variables are identified. This assemblage of reviewed research papers will be useful for the academia and government to cultivate understanding on the psychological rumblings of an individual and leading to greater financial well-being, hence uplifting the quality of life of affected parties.Keywords: Financial well-being; Financial behaviour; Psychological Factors;eISSN: 2398-4287 © 2020. The present research uses toy packaging as an exploratory case study to test the research design. The case study is so selected since it involves merchandizes in conflict between the needs of children and the trust of guardians. It also engages the role of playing as a learning process promoting children’s imaginary and creativity thinking. Visual stimuli along with self-report questionnaires are used to test the perceptual response of both children and guardians on the aspects of attractiveness, safety, value and taste. Civil society plays an important role in supporting the development of the country. However, the lack of current studies focuses on this aspect, especially from the fiqh approach. Thus, this paper will explore the principle of ‘La Dharar Wa La Dhirar’ as a guide in empowering the role of civil society in the built environment. This qualitative study accomplished the content analysis from Kitab al-I’lan Bi Ahkam Al-Bunyan. The findings indicated that several essences derived from the Kitab related the roles of civil society towards the sustainable built environment in the future. Over the last few years, revitalization through painting in the slum area become popular in some cities in Indonesia. The attractive colors and illustrations have escalated the village on social media, especially for youth. The study focuses on investigating the roles of art in Kampung Pelangi potential for city landmark. Interviews and observations were done as a preliminary study, and survey online intended to understand the university students’ perception as a youth representative. The Malaysian government had announced the Movement Control Order (MCO) to handle the Covid-19 crisis. During MCO, the government has used media channels to spread the information to the public. This research aims to identify the mediating part of both knowledge and awareness between students' attitude and media role during MCO. The findings from 338 respondents analysed using structural equation modelling found that knowledge and awareness mediate between media and students' attitude. This study could guide policymakers to promote a greater understanding of the coronavirus pandemic by using the mass media. This paper examines the role of culture and religion in the conception and regulation of visual privacy and design attributes affecting it. The study involves a survey interview of 381 respondents and 11 case studies of Malay Muslims living in two-storey terrace housing in urban areas in Malaysia. Findings indicate despite changes in living condition and a new paradigm in culture-housing, culture and religion play an important role in the conception and regulation of visual privacy. In this study, hypothetical model included personality variables and social psychological variables by employing narcissism and competitive worldview as predictors towards apathy about environmental issues. The study was conducted on 225 college students (138 males, 87 females; Mage = 18.25 years, SDage = 2.13 years) taken through convenience accidental sampling technique from several majors of a private university in Jakarta, Indonesia. The results of path analysis showed that narcissism was able to predict apathy towards the environment indirectly through a competitive view of the world (χ2 = 0.11, p = 0.736, RMSEA = 0.000).2398-4295 © 2016. This study aims to discover the imitation batik sarong in term of their design, which includes the motifs, colours and structure. The method is by field visit, observation and interviews. The scenario in the batik industry and detail about the characteristic that fooled consumers was stated in this study. The imitation batik is not a traditional batik sarong, because they are not aesthetically sustained the traditional technique and characteristic is also different. In a future study, this research should define how the role of innovation can continue, and the traditional batik flourishes without shading off the batik tradition.
