This study assesses the effects of inception ecopsychology elements in an environmental education as to strengthen the attitudes towards the environment among teacher trainees based on the affective learning domain.  A mixed method design was used to evaluate the effects of the inception ecopsychology element in environmental education. Initial findings showed that there was a significant difference on attitudes towards environment between experimental and control groups. Qualitative findings also showed that the respondents from the experimental groups believed they were considered to have changed after participating in the class. Findings from this study suggested that the implementation of environmental education should incept ecopsychology elements. © 2016 The Author. Environmental stewardship starts with education. This paper aims to discuss how preschools can be used to nurture environmental stewards among Malaysian children. In summary, elements of preschool physical environments can be manipulated to enhance environmental education while landscape elements such as vegetation and topography can be manipulated to maximize interaction with nature. Effective interaction with nature is the most important factor to ensure environmental awareness. Findings are useful for Malaysian designers and policy makers to ensure that preschool’s physical settings support environmental education to respond to climate change and preserve the planet for future generations.© 2016. Today’s customers tend to select eating-places to satisfy pleasures through experiential socialization. This study explores how colors, lighting and décor have effects on customers’ perceived social, emotional and behavioral intention on social dining occasions. The experimental method is used and 162 senior students are involved. The results show that the restaurant with monochromatic color scheme, dim lighting and plain décors yield a statistically significant difference on the entire dependent variables with almost any other interior conditions observed on romantic dining, as opposed to that in the case of casual dining. Further research on subtler and diverse dimensions of interior element is suggested to enrich previous findings. Pretend play emerged at the age of 18 months in children. The imagination of children creates new play ideas it has incorporated into their play. But Autism children find difficulty in play. Hence, this study aimed to find the different types of pretend and preference play among autistic and typical children. The total sample of 40 is divided into 20 each group respectively. Data analyzed by using Chi-Square result in the significant difference between the pretend play and play preference X² = 42.81 (p=0.05 and p=0.01).  Aim of this study is to determine the effect of environmental education program integrated into preschool education aged between 48-66 months on children’s mental model development about “environment” concept. Triangular mixed design was used in this research. Quantitative dimension of the study was carried out with quasi-experimental design with control group and qualitative dimension of the study was carried out with using phenomenological method based on social constructivist philosophy. Study group of the research consisted of 52 children from experimental and control groups. Statistically significant difference was observed in the scores of children in the experimental and control groups from DAET-R (U= 44, z= -5.44, p= .000, r= .75). Mental model development about environment of the majority of the children from the experimental group reached to an expected level. However, no development was obtained in the mental model development of the children in the control group. Results also showed that 80.8% of the children from experimental group defined environment as a place which people, animals and plants live together and the amount of the children from control group who defined environment similar to this level is 26.9%. In addition, there was no significant difference in the total pre-test and post-test DAET-R scores of children from the control group (z= -1.401, p > .05) and significant difference was observed in the pre-test and post-test DAET-R scores of children in the experimental group in support of post-test results (z= -4.126, p < .05). Enrolment of students in Malaysia tertiary level programs related to STEM-based has shown a significant reduction in numbers which resulted in a decreasing number of enrolment in the Degree of Civil Engineering programs.  The purpose of this study is to identify the level of student’s awareness; factors that influence the students; and suggestions for improvement. The respondents are students from secondary school in Negeri Sembilan and UiTM.  The findings of this study indicate that there is a significant difference in the level of awareness according to areas; misled perception towards the program; and lack of participation from school and parent.     Keywords: STEM-based education, Civil Engineering, awareness, secondary-level students eISSN: 2398-4287© 2020. This study aims to compare the accommodation microfluctuation before and after 5 mins of digital reading in the dark with night shift mode. Nineteen subjects were recruited using convenient sampling and a crossover design was used to compare the accommodation microfluctuations two viewing conditions. There was no significant difference in accommodation microfluctuations before and after 5-minute reading with night shift mode and without night shift mode. The insignificant findings in the accommodation microfluctuation comparison seemed to suggest that Night Shift Mode did not display as an advantage in controlling accommodation. Children are the future guardian of the Earth. Environmental Education (EE) at preschool level is crucial for instilling environmental stewardship. This paper discusses how preschool designs can be manipulated to facilitate and enhance the EE implementation. In summary, it is suggested that preschool settings should be designed to maximise children’s interaction with nature. It not only helps to optimise children’s development and literacy but also contributes to the prediction of their intentions to appreciate and to protect the environment. Contextual learning combines examples taken from everyday experience. The purpose of this research is to identify whether learning contextually will improve students' achievement. A quasi-experimental design used. The engineering students were divided into contextual and non-contextual groups. The Neuro-Linguistics Programming (NLP) VAKD Preferred Representational Systems Test shows, majority of both groups use auditory digital learning styles. There is a significant difference at a significance level of .05, in the achievement test where the contextual groups performed better. The majority of the students in both groups are auditory digital learning styles, learning statistics contextually is an effective method for engineering students. Saliva cortisol response was investigated from the motorcycling exposure for approximately 50 minutes between low and high noise-sensitive (Weinstein Noise Sensitivity Scale) young riders (19-25 years). The results showed significant difference (p < 0.05) in salivary cortisol concentrations in High-Noise Sensitive group (n=27). Significant gender differences were found (p < 0.05) among the Low-Noise sensitive group (n=30), after ride. Cross-analysis between groups was significant (p < 0.05) for before ride cortisol levels of Low-Noise sensitive group. This study suggests that subjective noise sensitivity plays a vital role in increased cortisol level among noise sensitive riders.Keywords: Noise; Salivary cortisol; Noise sensitivity; Motorcycle.eISSN 2398-4279 © 2018.
