This study explores the state of tourists' perception of Pahang heritage food. Data were obtained from 164 tourists through social media applications. The survey outcomes were encouraging, which showed a positive and significant influence between food consumption values and a domestic tourist's behavioral intentions to consume heritage foods. These findings will help Pahang's destination managers better understand how the promotion of heritage foods can be utilized to attract future domestic tourism. Marketers should increase familiarity with heritage foods, particularly among potential domestic tourists, as familiarity may increase emotional values. Recent times have seen social media influencers becoming the foundation of ‘influencer’ based marketing practices. This phenomenon raises certain legal concerns, including the issue of disclosure. This study examined influencer marketing practices in Malaysia on Instagram and explored Malaysia’s need to review its regulation, especially when it comes to disclosure. Although preliminary, the findings of this study give an overview of the marketing practices undertaken by these influencers and the lack of disclosure of ‘material connection’ between the business or brand and the influencers. Emerging technological environments and social media networking have led many design companies in Malaysia to select qualified employees with the required skillset. Towards this, graphic design graduates must have an individual portfolio but placing them for a job with relevant skills requirements is not easy. Thus, this paper aims to ascertain the competencies and skillset required by employers. The researcher analyzed 30 internet job advertising to determine three key competencies and skill sets connected with the study's objectives. This study investigated how domestic tourists perceive Malaysian heritage food and how this may influence behavioral intentions. A survey was distributed through social media applications, and 164 tourists responded, with three being international, which were then discarded. In this study, correlation and regression analyses are used to analyze the responses and found that a positive and significant influence exists between emotional value, quality value, epistemic value, and a domestic tourist’s behavioral intentions to consume heritage foods. This study helps expand the understanding of Pahang’s heritage food's consumption value elements and its influence on the domestic tourists' behavioral intentions. This paper discusses an action research on the use of social media in millennials’ teaching and learning activities in a design-related course. The objective is to investigate students’ feedback on their experience of utilizing social media as a platform to submit and present an assignment. The method employed is a questionnaire survey on students’ experience of utilizing such method in their study. Many respondents also provided additional comments regarding this unconventional approach. Tourism is a sector that always has a dynamic movement which will benefit the local community. Lumban Suhi-suhi is a tourist village famous for its ulos on Samosir Island that has become one of the tourist attraction. Due to the limitations of facilities arrangement make it becomes less of the attraction itself. Therefore, the environment-based mechanism becomes one of the concepts that will be applied to improve the tourist facilities in which could increase tourists in that area. The rapid increase in solid waste is a major environmental problem and recycling is argued to be a better solution to the problem. However, there is a broad agreement that there is a gap between the increasing awareness for recycling and the recycling behaviour among the consumers. The aim of this study is to investigate the recycling behaviour among 62 residents of Tioman Island. A structured questionnaire that included 33 items is used to obtain the data. The findings show a significant relationship between recycling behaviour and collectivism; a positive, weak relationship with recycling attitudes; and a negative relationship with materialism. There is a close relationship between the creation of urban spaces and ergonomics. To make new stimulating and satisfying urban spaces, ergonomics criteria should consider. In this study, two main urban squares from Istanbul examined. Selected urban squares evaluated by site observation according to the classified ergonomics criteria. Strong and weak points of chosen squares discussed and some suggestions proposed. Banana is a topical fruit consumed worldwide. Since bananas lifecycle is short, prolonging its' shelf life is necessary to cater for the increasing demand of globalization. This study aims to evaluate frozen bananas' quality proportional to nutritional profile and the products' acceptability as traditional ready-to-eat food. A pilot study with 30 respondents looking at the attributions between Saba Crispy and raw Saba using a 5-point Likert scale yielded 50% agreeing to texture, taste, and flavor of Saba Crispy and 66.67% for colors. The paper presents preliminary results of legal and illegal settlement extraction in Pulau Gaya, Sabah using high resolution Quickbird and SPOT- 5 multi-spectral imageries using automated house detection technique. The technique developed is spatial-based using tree counting approach. From the results, edge to edge of the house features was found precisely separated and can be delineated between houses that less than 2m distance. Results show that the technique able to delineate legal houses from Quickbird image more than SPOT-5. Differs results would be due to different spatial and spectral resolution of images.
