Semarang has various types of business. One of them is Batik Hatta Boutique, a small and medium business under the guidance of the Bank of Central Java that deals specifically in the world of batik art. This business develops and maintains its existence by participating in various exhibitions in several shopping centers as a media product promotion. To minimize losses, it needs accurate calculation in making decision of determining the location of establishment. It is reviewed by rental cost, location, layout, profit, and security. However, that calculation is still manual so it is inefficient and susceptible to error. Therefore, Decision Support System (DSS) is made to help in getting recommended location of best establishment at the Butik Batik Hatta. The method used in this research is the HYBRID MCDM AHP-TOPSIS Method. Validation process of this research has been done by using comparison of actual data and its result is 0.90 in the Sparman Correlation Coefficient. The conclusion is that the AHP-TOPSIS HYBRID MCDM method can be used in determining  the location of establishment stand at the Batik Hatta Boutique.

Critical land has become a problem in the world. Critical land is very detrimental to the health of the land. Several factors cause the land to become critical. One of them is the use of land that is not by the capabilities of the land. If no repairs made, the land will be physically, chemically, and biologically damaged. Klaten Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java Province, which has quite extensive critical land. It is necessary to monitor and improve land quality regularly to avoid critical land problems. Data and information on critical land obtained from Klaten Regency processed into a decision support system. Decision Support System uses a combination of Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique For Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. In this research, a Web-based Decision Support System created to determine the critical land area in Klaten Regency. The information system created has an alternative menu and criteria that determine the potential of critical land in Klaten Regency, making it easier for users to obtain information.

This research aims to build a decision support system (DSS), that is used to recommend a place of Industrial Practice (in Indonesia known as PRAKERIN) for students who will plunge into the world of industrial world (DUDI). The reason why this research is raised is due to the frequent difficulties faced by students in determining which location suits their needs. In this research, location selection is calculated using weighted product (WP) method. WP method is one of Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method that can solve one dimensional and multi dimensional problems. From the results of research conducted found that the WP method can help determine the location prakerin for students, so for students it is very helpful to them in determining prakerin location in accordance with the criteria specified.

The number of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the field of screen printing and convection that use websites in marketing is one of them CV. Ini Sablon. but in the production process there are obstacles in working on orders that come to be done first in accordance with predetermined criteria, namely deadlines, number of orders, design, profit, and availability of goods. The use of Decision Support System (DSS) aims to provide recommendations to owners of screen printing companies. This study uses the SMART method to weight the criteria and the TOPSIS method for product selection. This system is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database. The results of the study were a screen printing production priority website with the best final value of 0.62 and the worst final value of 0.35 with the level of accuracy between manual and system calculations reaching 100%. In this study the criteria cannot be updated, it is expected that further research criteria can be updated and use a combination of methods that have not been done.

Employee is a part of the company's most important asset in its efforts to maintain survival, growth, ability to compete and profit. At this time the process of assessment of employees in Jakarta Smart City is still in the form of manual and the decision only from one party only, so the process is still not accurate. So it takes the methods that must be able to replace that system. For that reason, a Decision Support System (SPK) was created to determine the best employees in Jakarta Smart City. In the system implemented the method of Entropy and TOPSIS. Entropy method can be trusted in determining the weight of the criteria to be used. And TOPSIS method can quickly perform the ranking process. Criteria to be used are quality and quantity of work, obedience, cooperation, morale, and work discipline. The index of satisfaction level of respondents to the decision support system ranges from 70% -80%, meaning that the assessment of the system created gives results at a fairly good level. Index Terms—employee, nter key words or phrases in alphabetical order, separated by commas

This paper presents the use of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) for the evaluation of smart cities. During the development of the method, the importance of the decision-making approach in the linear ordering of cities was presented. The method of using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) was proposed for the preparation of ranking. The method was verified by the application in the measurement of energy performance in smart cities. The authors conducted a literature review of research papers related to urban energy and MCDM published in the period from 2010 to 2020. The paper uses data from the World Council on City Data (WCCD). The research conducted allowed for the identification of the most popular MCDM techniques in the field of urban energy such as TOPSIS, AHP and DEA. The TOPSIS technique was used to organize and group the analyzed cities. Porto took the top position, whereas Buenos Aries was the last.

Numerous argumentation systems have been proposed in the literature. Yet there often appears to be a shortfall between proposed systems and possible applications. In other words, there seems to be a need for further development of proposals for argumentation systems before they can be used widely in decision-support or knowledge management. I believe that this shortfall can be bridged by taking a hybrid approach. Whilst formal foundations are vital, systems that incorporate some of the practical ideas found in some of the informal approaches may make the resulting hybrid systems more useful. In informal approaches, there is often an emphasis on using graphical notation with symbols that relate more closely to the real-world concepts to be modelled. There may also be the incorporation of an argument ontology oriented to the user domain. Furthermore, in informal approaches there can be greater consideration of how users interact with the models, such as allowing users to edit arguments and to weight influences on graphs representing arguments. In this paper, I discuss some of the features of argumentation, review some key formal argumentation systems, identify some of the strengths and weaknesses of these formal proposals and finally consider some ways to develop formal proposals to give hybrid argumentation systems. To focus my discussions, I will consider some applications, in particular an application in analysing structured news reports.

<p><em>During this time the determination of the best homeroom teacher at MIS Nurul Huda Pantai Labu  was still using a manual process , so the results were not optimal. In this study the  decision support system was built to facilitate the school in determining the best homeroom teacher using the Topsis method. The criteria used are 5: attendance, organizational experience, data on student achievement, interaction with students, and final education. This system design application is expected to help the school principal in making decisions about determining the best homeroom teacher</em></p>
