Currently, 50-60 percents of power consumption in oil fields falls on mechanized oil production. The specificity of the operation of a submersible electric centrifugal pump (ESP), powered by a submersible electric motor (SEM) as consumers of electricity, is due to their operation at a considerable distance from the earth’s surface, the variable nature of the load, the aggressiveness of the produced fluid, and the presence of an extended cable line. (Research objective) To study devices for improving the quality of electricity in the oil industry. (Materials and methods) The results of the survey of the parameters of power consumption of the Novoportovskoe oil and gas condensate field of the PREO «Yamal» Network district No. 1 Kust 18 KTP 10 / 0.4 kV No. 1 input-2. (Results and discussion) The results of studies of the parameters of electricity at the Novoportovskoye oil and gas condensate field have shown that it is advisable to use devices that improve the quality of electricity. Devices can be different, both in design and in scope. Assessing the quality of environmental objects, identifying the causes of pollution and predicting the future state is an urgent and important task, since it is the quality of natural objects that largely determines the state of human health. This paper presents results of the statistical analysis of the data of water quality monitoring in the rivers within oil fields of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Yugra during 20182019. The correlation analysis (according to Pearson) was carried out to identify the relationships between the samples of hydrochemical parameters and the number of microorganisms of various ecological-trophic groups. As a result of the correlation analysis of the relationship between the indicators of the chemical composition of water, a direct and inverse correlation was obtained for the following indicators: total iron, anionic surfactants, nickel, phenols, copper, sulfates, ammonium ions, lead, phosphates, manganese. The maximum value of the correlation coefficient is observed for Ni and Cr concentrations. For total iron and manganese, a significant positive correlation is also revealed. The distribution of chemical compounds in the rivers doesnt have a pronounced correlation dependence, which is probably due to the heterogeneity of the composition of the waters, as well as to the increasing impact on the environment of the oil and gas complex.

The question of research of dependence of efficiency on loading of the drilling machine is considered. To achieve this goal in the work were set and solved the following tasks: - to analyze the design and technological features of the drilling machine part; - to develop a new design of a drilling machine with a network analyzer; - to investigate the new design of a drilling machine with a network analyzer. About 80 % of drilling machines at Ukrainian enterprises are operated in excess of the established shelf life, which leads to their low quality of operation, high accident rate and failure of electromechanical equipment. The average shelf life of the electric drive in the industry does not exceed 6 years. Up to 10–18 % of electric motors and up to 30 % of auxiliary equipment fail and are repaired annually. The vast majority of engines can be repaired 4-5 times and after repair often do not work even for one year. The operation of drilling machines with an induction motor (short-circuited rotor), which are in poor technical condition, leads to an increase in financial costs due to increased power consumption. The cost of electricity consumed by the electric drive of drilling machines during the service life is significantly higher than the cost of equipment and maintenance costs and more than 4 times higher than its own. The electricity bill includes a system of surcharges for additional reactive power consumption. Reactive power charges at enterprises account for up to 10% of total electricity costs, and these costs tend to increase. Today, there is a need to apply the latest technical solutions and scientific approaches to solving the problem of improving the quality of operation of asynchronous electric drives of drilling machines. A research stand has been developed to determine the asynchronous motor of a drilling machine, which allows to identify the dependence of efficiency on the magnitude of the load, calculate the parameters of the substitution scheme and energy characteristics for the nominal mode of operation of the electric drive. Key words: drilling machine, network analyzer, research stand

Today, the increase in reactive power consumption far exceeds the increase in active power consumption. Due to the increasing demands of the end-users for the quality of the supply of electricity, the problem of joint selection of rational sections and places of installation of reactive power compensation in the distribution line becomes relevant. A mathematical model and algorithm allowing such a choice are proposed. The mathematical model can be used both in the design of new lines and in the reconstruction of existing lines. An example is given.

The application of the fast-growing information and communications technologies (ICT) in the industry has led to an increase in the quality of industrial processes. Through the application of Internet of Things (IoT) considered as a new technological concept in the oil and gas industry, it is possible to provide a high level of security by detecting previously the errors, the faults in real-time, to minimize the costs of production processes such as exploration, search, monitoring in the oil industry, to achieve the optimization of the activity to ensure highly productive performance. The application of IoT in the industry can lead to collect an exponential volume of data and, consequently, to some challenges in the analysis phase. Taking these into account, the article deals with the research on IoT technologies and the application of industrial processes to improve the quality of production processes in the oil and gas industry. In this paper, multi-layered analysis architecture for processing big data in the oil & gas industry is proposed.

The power transfer capability of a system determines the power quality and the reliability of the power system. The transmission side of the power system is of different configuration. This paper involves the modeling of a three-phase multi-machine system with nine bus configurations. The system is subjected to different fault conditions. The system is modeled with the help of MATLAB- Simulink. The power quality of the system is analyzed. The system active and the reactive power can be compensated by the FACTS devices. The FACTS devices are power compensating devices that play a vital role in increasing the power quality of the system. The three-phase multi-machine system is integrated with the FACTS devices like STATCOM and UPFC and different parameters where analyzed

Relevance of the work. Quantifying these oil reserves allows Venezuela to lead the ranking as the country with the largest oil reserves worldwide Purpose of the work. Is related to the need of quantification in the recoverable oil reserves in the field of Husepin (Monagas state, Venezuela) for the oil industry. The methodology of the research. The La Pica 01 Field is made up of 509 wells, of which 49 wells were used to elaborate the correlations, since they have spontaneous potential and resistivity curves. For each well, the tops and bases of the units were determined by analyzing the behavior of the electrical responses of each of the sands, applying the basic concepts of stratigraphy, as well as a detailed compilation of all the information that corresponds to the wells that form part of the study to obtain a standard record that contains all the favorable data and be able to carry out the correlations. Research results. In the S6 sand, 4 oil deposits were found and an Original Oil In Place of 15,875.32 thousands of normal barrels and recoverable reserves of 2,857. 5576 thousands of normal barrels were estimated. For S8 sand, 5 oil fields were defined and an Original Oil In Place of 25,940.86 thousands of normal barrels and recoverable reserves of 4,669. 3548 thousands of normal barrels were estimated. Original Oil In Place was not calculated in the S7 sand because it has no deposits. Recommendations. Review the production history and verify which wells can be re-incorporated into an oil extraction plan and Submit the reserves of the study fields to the Ministry of Popular Power for Energy and Petroleum (MENPET) taking into account the results obtained in this investigation. Conclusions. 4 oil deposits were found in the S6 sand and 5 oil deposits were found in the S8 sand and each of them were with stratigraphic limits, structural limits and fluid contact. The article is devoted to increasing the efficiency of well testing in the construction of seismic models of oil and gas objects. We suggest using the adaptive approach, which has been developed by us, to processing and interpretation of well testing data; it will increase the efficiency of management of the processing and interpretation of well testing data. The essence of the approach consists of dividing the process into stages, developing for each stage a multivariate decision scheme, and formal criteria for evaluating the results.A conceptual framework has been developed for the implementation of the proposed approach as applied to the processing and interpretation of well testing data in order to construct seismic models of terrigenous deposits in Western Siberia. We propose formalized criteria for assessing the quality of processing results of well testing data, modeling of well testing curves, and determination of petro-physical parameters. The results obtained are illustrated on practical data on oil fields in Western Siberia.

Reactive power has a significant impact on the parameters of the power supply system in the oil and gas industry; as a result, there is a decrease in the quality of the electric network. The relevance of the study is justified by the tasks of improving the quality of electricity in the load nodes consisting of asynchronous motors, one of which is the reactive power compensation, including the calculation and automatic regulation of compensating devices. The aim of the article is to design and research a reactive power compensation control system to improve the quality of electricity. The article proposes a solution to the actual problem of reactive power compensation based on the proposed power quality control algorithm. The system of automatic control of reactive power compensation developed in the Matlab and Simulink software package allows us to generate parameters according to current measurements and adjust the voltage when the load operation mode changes. The use of MOSFET transistors in the control system made it possible to create the necessary compensation currents with a low content of higher harmonics that create distortions in the supply voltage and ensure high speed of the reactive power compensation unit operation.
