The article is devoted to increasing the efficiency of well testing in the construction of seismic models of oil and gas objects. We suggest using the adaptive approach, which has been developed by us, to processing and interpretation of well testing data; it will increase the efficiency of management of the processing and interpretation of well testing data. The essence of the approach consists of dividing the process into stages, developing for each stage a multivariate decision scheme, and formal criteria for evaluating the results.A conceptual framework has been developed for the implementation of the proposed approach as applied to the processing and interpretation of well testing data in order to construct seismic models of terrigenous deposits in Western Siberia. We propose formalized criteria for assessing the quality of processing results of well testing data, modeling of well testing curves, and determination of petro-physical parameters. The results obtained are illustrated on practical data on oil fields in Western Siberia.

The resource base of Western Siberia needs to be replenished to maintain the current development indicators. The reserves associated with the classic structural traps were diagnosed and mapped for the main horizons in Western Siberia. Replenishment of the resource base at the expense of such reserves is ineffective due to the fact that undiscovered traps of these types are thin, or lie at great depths, which ultimately negatively affects the quality of the resource base and the economic efficiency of their involvement in development. The driver of the growth and replenishment of the resource base under current conditions is the Achimov deposits, which are ubiquitous in this area at depths of 2500–3500 m and are genetically deep-water deposits of fans. The advantage of involving these deposits in development is often associated with the confinement to existing assets, where production is carried out from above and below-lying geological objects, the complexity is associated with the lithological type of traps, which is not diagnosed by direct analysis of seismic materials, as well as the extremely poor knowledge of the deposits over the area. Considering that the variability of properties over the area is a distinctive feature of Achimov deposits, the factor of poor knowledge by drilling significantly complicates the understanding of the potential of the deposits. In order to identify and assess the most promising areas for involvement in the development of the Achimov deposits, in PJSC Gazprom Neft the work “Regional assessment and zonal study of the prospects for oil and gas potential of the Achimov formation in the Western Siberia” was carried out. The goal and objectives is to form a reliable tool for searching and forecasting potential options using the generated regional maps of criteria (various characteristic properties and their combinations) built on the basis of data generalization throughout Western Siberia.

The article presents a method for determining the quality of spraying a mixture of oil and synthetic fuels obtained from the pro-cessing of polymer materials. Laboratory tests of physical parameters of such a mixture were carried out, which made it possible to determine the limit values for the volume fraction of synthetic fuels. The method of determining the suitability of this type of fuel takes into account the criterion numbers Re and Oh, which include physical parameters such as viscosity, density, and surface tension. The experimental part concerning the distribution of droplets of injected fuel and determination of Sauter Mean Diameter using laser diffrac-tion confirmed the usefulness of the developed method for the assessment of the possibility of using a mixture of petroleum-based and synthetic fuels in self-ignition engines.

Assessing the quality of environmental objects, identifying the causes of pollution and predicting the future state is an urgent and important task, since it is the quality of natural objects that largely determines the state of human health. This paper presents results of the statistical analysis of the data of water quality monitoring in the rivers within oil fields of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug Yugra during 20182019. The correlation analysis (according to Pearson) was carried out to identify the relationships between the samples of hydrochemical parameters and the number of microorganisms of various ecological-trophic groups. As a result of the correlation analysis of the relationship between the indicators of the chemical composition of water, a direct and inverse correlation was obtained for the following indicators: total iron, anionic surfactants, nickel, phenols, copper, sulfates, ammonium ions, lead, phosphates, manganese. The maximum value of the correlation coefficient is observed for Ni and Cr concentrations. For total iron and manganese, a significant positive correlation is also revealed. The distribution of chemical compounds in the rivers doesnt have a pronounced correlation dependence, which is probably due to the heterogeneity of the composition of the waters, as well as to the increasing impact on the environment of the oil and gas complex.

Currently, 50-60 percents of power consumption in oil fields falls on mechanized oil production. The specificity of the operation of a submersible electric centrifugal pump (ESP), powered by a submersible electric motor (SEM) as consumers of electricity, is due to their operation at a considerable distance from the earth’s surface, the variable nature of the load, the aggressiveness of the produced fluid, and the presence of an extended cable line. (Research objective) To study devices for improving the quality of electricity in the oil industry. (Materials and methods) The results of the survey of the parameters of power consumption of the Novoportovskoe oil and gas condensate field of the PREO «Yamal» Network district No. 1 Kust 18 KTP 10 / 0.4 kV No. 1 input-2. (Results and discussion) The results of studies of the parameters of electricity at the Novoportovskoye oil and gas condensate field have shown that it is advisable to use devices that improve the quality of electricity. Devices can be different, both in design and in scope. The present study was undertaken with the aim of investigating the physical parameters (e.g. organoleptic and specific gravity of raw milk) and also to study the microbiological quality of raw milk (total viable count, Coliform count and Staphylococcal count) from different villages and Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) Dairy Farm of Mymensingh District of Bangladesh, during the period from July to November 2007. A total number of 100 raw milk samples were collected at morning and evening from BAU dairy farm and surrounding four villages of BAU campus. The organoleptic and bacteriological qualities of each sample were analyzed. The organoleptic examination included taste panel score to assess consumer's acceptance and the bacteriological analysis comprised enumeration of total viable count (TVC), total colifrom count (TCC) and total staphylococcal count (TSC) for the determination of sanitary quality. The organoleptic quality of the milk samples is more or less same except the Churkhai milk samples which had flat taste (in 16% milk sample). The average values of TVC/ml were log 5.920, 5.934, 6.007, 6.075 and 6.127 for BAU Dairy Farm, Boira, Shutiakhali, Churkahai and Paglabazar respectively; coliform count were log 2.501, 2.522, 2.550, 2.620 and 2.619 respectively; staphylococcal count were log 2.832, 2.812, 2.866, 2.931 and 2.988 respectively. So, it may be concluded that the raw milk samples of BAU Dairy Farm were superior to others collected from the selected villages which may be due to maintaining better hygienic condition. This paper takes Yingtai area which is located in the south of Qijia-Gulong sag and part of central sag area in the north of the Songliao Basin as the research area. Then combining all information of core, logging, three-dimensional seism and well testing data, it studies the reservoir type and oil-water distribution characteristics of Heidimiao by analyzing the comparison charts of sandstone, profile map of reservoir, T07 structure diagram, well testing data, stratum thickness, sandstone thickness, ratio of sandstone thickness to stratum thickness, porosity values, permeability contour maps. The reservoir lithology of Heidimiao oil layer is siltstone-oriented with poor physical property. The main controlling factor of oil-water distribution is the lithology, followed by the structure. Heidimiao oil layer mainly includes three types, lithological oil reservoir, lithological - structural oil reservoir and structural oil reservoir, among which lithological reservoir plays a dominant role. Its oil-water distribution is characterized by the pattern of upper-water and bottom-oil; when the fault acts as the pathway for the longitudinal migration of oil and gas, the pattern changes to the upper-oil and bottom-water. This research could provide reliable geological basis for the research of old well re-examination, favorable area evaluation and horizontal well drilling design.

Five percent of the world’s gas supply is wasted by being flared or vented into the atmosphere, leading to a huge loss of potential revenue, not to mention a significant impact on the environment. This is equivalent to 150 billion cubic metres of natural gas per year and the release of 400 million metric tons of CO2 equivalent. The industry does this for a variety of valid reasons, including well testing, emergencies, commissioning, maintenance, or simply because an economic solution for capturing and using the gas has not been discovered. Capture of flared gas, therefore, presents an economic and environmentally beneficial opportunity to create new value chains that can benefit not only the industry but also people’s quality of life. This extended abstract draws on a recent DNV GL project to assess existing and future technologies and concepts for capturing small volumes of associated gas that are normally flared from oil fields, both onshore and offshore. The following four technology options that can be used to capture associated gas, convert it, and either utilise the product onsite or transport it to market for consumption are considered. Using more cost-effective ways of transporting natural gas where there is no existing pipeline. Converting gas into products with a higher economic value through chemical processes. Novel concepts—bringing the solution closer to the source of gas flaring. Other solutions. The extended abstract then focuses on cost-effective ways of transporting gas, in particular the use of micro-LNG solutions

During the development of oil and gas fields, the permeability of the reservoirs decreases due to a decrease in reservoir pressure and an increase in effective pressure, as a result of which significant reserves of oil and gas remain in the reservoir. To predict the rate of decrease in oil production rates during field development and to respond quickly, it is necessary to know the law of permeability decrease with an increase in effective pressure. Existing methods for describing the change in the permeability of rocks were analyzed in the paper. Numerical analysis of the results of core studies from previously published papers and the results of field well testing on the examples of the north Perm region oil fields showed that in both cases, regardless of the type of rock and the type of reservoir, the change in permeability can be described by the same equations (exponential and power-law). Obtained equations can be used to predict changes in the permeability of terrigenous reservoirs of the north Perm region oil fields. At the same time, according to the results of well testing, an intensive decrease in permeability is observed with an increase in effective pressure. Analysis of the nature of permeability changes using the Two-Part Hooke’s Model showed that significant irreversible deformations are currently taking place in the formations of the oil fields under consideration. Predicting the change in permeability from effective pressure can allow to optimize the development of oil deposits.
