This objective of this study to determine the influence of sukuk ratings on corporate governance. Proxy of the corporate governance that used is institutional ownership, frequency of board meeting, board size, and audit committee. The population in this studies are financial and non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), and issue bonds that are rated by PEFINDO in 2012-2017. The research was conducted with quantitative methods. The analysis methods used in this study is multiple linear regression and assisted by SPSS version 20. The results of this research indicate that institutional ownership has significantly positive affect on sukuk rating, frequency of board meeting has insignificantly negative affect on sukuk rating and board size has significantly negative affect on sukuk rating and audit committee has  significantly positive affect on sukuk rating..

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and good corporate governance on earnings quality in food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2015-2018 period. Profitability is calculated using Return on Assets (ROA). The proxy of Good Corporate Governance are institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, and independent commissioner. The dependent variable in this study is earnings quality measured by discretionary accrual using Modified Jones Model to detect earning management. This study used secondary data from the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id) and the sampling method in this study uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability and audit committee have a positive effect on earnings quality, while the independent commissioner has a negative effect on earnings quality. Other independent variables i.e. institutional ownership and managerial ownership have no significant effect on earnings quality

Earnings management practice is the decision to choose a particular accounting method that can achieve the goal of increasing reported profits or reducing investment losses. Misappropriation of financial statements by management can affect the amount of reported income. This study aims to determine whether ownership structure and good corporate governance have a significant influence on earnings management. The study was conducted on pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in a row for the 2016-2020 period. The sample technique used is purposive sampling, so as many as 7 samples of companies are used. The data testing method uses multiple linear analysis. The results of the data test show that partially institutional ownership has a negative and significant effect on earnings management, independent commissioners, the audit committee, and the board of directors has a negative but not significant effect on earnings management. Simultaneously the results state that institutional ownership, independent commissioners, audit committees, and the board of directors have an effect but not significantly on earnings management.

This research aimed to get empirical evidence about the effect of profitability and good corporate governance as proxied by the proportion of independent board commissioners, number of board commissioners meetings, proportion of audit committee, number of audit committee meetings, managerial ownersip and institutional ownership. The population of this research was companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2017. The sample of this research was fixed by purposive sampling method so that was found 88 samples. Technique of data analysis was multiple linear regression. The result of research showed that profibility, the proportion of independent board commissioners, proporsion of audit committee, managerial ownership and institutional ownership had significant positive effect on firm value, while commissioners meetings and audit committee meetings had no effect on firm value

<p>The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of good corporate governance on stock returns. Return is the level of profit obtained by investors on investment activities. Good corporate governance used in this study is an independent board of commissioners, audit committee, managerial ownership, and institutional ownership. This research was conducted using the annual report documentation method of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2016 to 2019. The sampling method in this study was purposive sampling with the number of samples obtained is 106 samples. Data processing is done by quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that the audit committee and institutional ownership have a negative and significant effect on stock returns, while independent commissioners and managerial ownership have no effect on stock returns.<em></em></p><p><strong>BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRAK</strong></p><p>Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh <em>good corporate governance</em> terhadap pengembalian saham. <em>Return</em> adalah tingkat keuntungan yang diperoleh investor atas kegiatan investasi. <em>Good corporate governance </em>yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dewan komisaris independen, komite audit, kepemilikan manajerial dan kepemilikan institusional. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode dokumentasi laporan tahunan perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) 2016–2019. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah <em>purposive sampling</em> dengan jumlah sampel yang diperoleh sebanyak 106 sampel. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel komite audit dan kepemilikan institusional berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap <em>return</em> saham, sedangkan dewan komisaris independen dan kepemilikan manajerial tidak berpengaruh terhadap <em>return</em> saham.</p><p><strong><br /></strong></p>

This study aims to investigate the relationship earnings management and mechanisms of goodcorporate governance (managerial ownership, institutional ownership, public ownership, the auditcommittee, board size, and proportion of independent board) on the disclosure of corporate socialresponsibility on companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2009-2013. Analysis techniqueused is multiple linear regression. This study aims to determine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG) proxied through the proportion of independent board of commissioners, the size of the board of commissioners, the number of board meetings, and the size of the audit committee to the environmental disclosure. This research is causality. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange and included in PROPER 2012 until 2016. The sample in this study is determined based on purposive sampling and produce a sample of 10 sample companies. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis.The results of multiple regression tests indicate that corporate governance (GCG) proxied through the proportion of independent commissioners, board size, number of board meetings, and the size of the audit committee, simultaneously affect the environmental disclosure. The independent variables influenced 61.4% of the dependent variable, while the rest influenced by other factors outside the study. Partially, the proportion of independent commissioners influences the environmental disclosure. The size of the board of commissioners has no effect on the disclosure of the environment. The number of board of commissioners meeting the effect on the disclosure of the environment. The size of the audit committee did not affect the disclosure of the environment.Keywords: Corporate Governance (GCG), proportion of independent commissioners, board size, number of board of commissioners meeting, audit committee size, environmental disclosure. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh good corporate governance (GCG) yang diproksikan melalui proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, dan ukuran komite audit terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bersifat kausalitas. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI dan termasuk dalam PROPER tahun 2012 sampai dengan 2016. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling dan menghasilkan sampel sebanyak 10 perusahaan sampel. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil pengujian regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa, good corporate governance (GCG) yang diproksikan melalui proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, dan ukuran komite audit. Variabel independen berpengaruh sebesar 61.4% terhadap variabel dependen, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain di luar penelitian. Secara parsial, proporsi komisaris independen berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Ukuran dewan komisaris tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Jumlah rapat dewan komisaris berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Ukuran komite audit tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengungkapan lingkungan. Kata kunci: Good Corporate Governance(GCG), proporsi komisaris independen, ukuran dewan komisaris, jumlah rapat dewan komisaris, ukuran komite audit

This research aims to analyze the effect of earnings, cash flow, and corporate governance to predict financial distress. The Corporate governance in this study using the indicator frequency of board meeting,  competence of audit committee, and  institutional ownership. This research used annual report of the manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange at the period of 2016-2018. The technique of selecting samples in this research uses purposive sampling and analyze data using logistic regression analysis. The result of this research showed that earnings and institutional ownership has an effect on the financial distress condition. While cash flow, frequency of board meeting, and competence of audit committee doesn’t has an effect on the financial distress condition.

The objective of this research was to prove empirically the factors affecting the good corporate governance and the return on assets onthe tax avoidance of the manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period of 2014-2016. The independent variables of this research werethe institutional ownership, the managerial ownership, the proportion of independent board of Commissioners, the audit committee, the audit quality, the return on assets; while, the dependent variable of this research wasthe tax avoidance. The data collectingtechnique used in this research was the purposive sampling. The number of sample used in this research was 57 manufacturing companies indexed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2016. The data analysis technique used in this research was the multiple linear regressionby using IBM SPSS Version 20 program. The result of this research showed that the managerial ownership, the audit quality, and the return on assets affected the tax avoidance; while, the institutional ownership, the proportion of independent board of commissioners, and theaudit committee did not have any effect on the tax avoidance

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance on corporate social responsibility. The Data that used in this research are all form of annual reports published by companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website. The population used is transportation sub Sector Company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018 which amounted to 37 companies. Purposive sampling is used in this research to obtain 8 companies as research sample. The data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis using SPSS Version 25. The results of the research showed audit committee negatively influence on the corporate social responsibility, the board of commissioners has no influence on the corporate social responsibility, the institutional ownership negatively affected on the corporate social responsibility, and the independent commissioner no impact on the corporate social responsibility.

Abstract The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of good corporate governance (GCG)  using GCG mechanism to tax management. The sample used in this study was chosen based on purposive sampling, 18 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2015 with 54 observation data was collected as sampels. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on data processing, it can be seen that institutional ownership, managerial ownership, and audit committee have a positive effect on tax management, while independent commissioners have no effect on tax management. Keywords: GCG, Independent Commissioner and Audit Committee Tax Management, Institutional Ownership, Managerial Ownership
