Zurri waqf stands as an alternative for estate planning upon the death of one’s parents. Despite having current alternative such as will writing, faraid and hibah, zurri waqf is viable as instrument to distribute wealth to the loved ones. Data given by Jabatan Ketua Pengarah Tanah dan Galian (JKPTG) in 2019 shows a total of RM60 billion of unclaimed property had been recorded. Amongst of the causes are; absence of will writing and little knowledge of wealth management from the heirs. Thus, zurri waqf stand as one mechanism which can be practiced to assist the parentless child in surviving their lifes. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the zurri waqf instrument as an estate planning and to identify the zurri waqf management procedures in Malaysia. Technology parks are considered innovative environments for the development of new technologies, in a dynamic that can be explained by the micro level of multilevel analysis of the theory of sociotechnical transition, by contributing to explain the actors responsible for the process of development and dissemination of technology. The cases analyzed were composed of companies and eco-innovative projects in the renewable energy area of the Itaipu Technological Park. The methodology was based on a study of multiple cases of qualitative nature, supported by content analysis and triangulation of information. The main results showed that the ITP, with the support of its maintainer Itaipu Binacional, created an environment conducive to the development of eco-innovative companies in renewable energies, stimulating the exchange of knowledge between companies and favoring partnerships with national and international companies for technological development.

Survey and laboratory studies provide support for the self-regulation of prejudice, but it is unclear whether people similarly self-regulate in“real life. Using a phenomenological approach, 153 non-Black participants recalled racial experiences in which they responded in ways they later wished had been different. Participants internally motivated to control prejudice reported discrepancies regardless of their external motivation, but even participants low on internal motivation reported prejudice-related discrepancies if they were externally motivated. Content analysis results are presented to summarize participants discrepancy experiences. Also, most participants discrepancies produced negative self-directed affect and the self-regulation of prejudice in the future. Findings suggest that self-regulation generalizes beyond the laboratory and occurs even among people who are not internally motivated to control their prejudice.

Abstract At a governmental level, the introduction of a Swiss law on trusts is currently being reviewed. One of the arguments is that Switzerland does not provide for a suitable instrument to be used for estate planning or asset protection purposes. Many scholars and practitioners take the view, though, that a common law trust is not a suitable instrument and that therefore it would be more advisable to review the existing instruments, such as the Swiss family foundation or the fiducie (Treuhand), and to amend them accordingly. This article shall shed some light on the Swiss family foundation, on its use and limits and how it could be used de lege ferenda in the future if its legal limits were finally to be released.

This article emphasizes the contribution of International FrameworkAgreements (IFAs) to collective bargaining within multinational companies(MNC). For this purpose, we used various data, including content analysis of 42IFAs and interviews with representatives of the five Global Union Federations(GUFs) involved in the negotiation of these IFAs, in order to assess the contentand efficiency of these agreements. Our analysis reveals that IFAs usuallyinclude a commitment by the signatory MNC to conform to ILO’s coreconventions in all its operations, and toinform its business partners of theirobligations under the agreement. Regular meetings are held with unions’representatives for the monitoring of these agreements to ensure their respect bythe signatory multinational companies andtheir business partners. According toGUFs’ representatives, the IFAs have been effective in protecting basic tradeunion rights covered by ILO conventions 87 and 98. In the last part, weemphasize the IFAs’ contribution to collective bargaining within MNCs anddiscuss the prospects for future development of international collectivebargaining, particularly in light of Levinson’s seminal work (1972) on thissubject.
