This study aims to examine the mathematical connection ability of students between the learning using problem posing and the scientific approach. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design involving two groups and random sampling is taken at the beginning, at the beginning and end of learning the two classes are given a test. The population in this study were junior high school students in Bandung, while the sample consisted of two classes chosen randomly. One class is givenlearning problem posing and the other class is given a scientific approach. The instrument used is a set of 5 test questions describing mathematical connection ability, then the score data is analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics using SPSS Statistics 21. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the achievementabilities of students' mathematical connectionbetween learning using problem posing was better than students who used a scientific approach.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in creative thinking skills of junior high school students who use learning by using the problem posing approach and the scientific approach to classroom learning, especially in mathematics. Quasi experiment is this type of research with the control group pre test and post test design. The research was conducted at one of the junior high schools in Cimahi City. As many as 62 students of class VII being sampled in this study consisted of 30 students in the experimental class with problem posing learning and 32 students in the control class with scientific learning. The testing in this study uses IBM SPSS version 22 software. The conclusions from the results of this study are 1) Increasing the ability of mathematical creative thinking by using a problem posing approach better than the scientific approach, 2) A problem posing approach if it is well planned for effectiveness when learning takes place, and 3) Students who are inaccurate in solving the problem of the ability to think creatively because they do not understand the problems asked in the questions. This can be seen from several responses of students who are incomplete in giving responses

Pada konteks penilaian berskala internasional seperti PISA, kompetensi pemecahan masalah dalam bidang matematika dan sains terkait permasalahan nyata merupakan fokus pengembangan kompetensi representasi dan literasi matematis siswa. Mengingat pentingnya pemecahan masalah, kemampuan representasi dan literasi matematis, maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan problem solving terhadap kemampuan representasi dan literasi matematis siswa SMP. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen kuasi (quasi experimental), dengan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Randomized Posttest-Only Control Group Design, yakni dua kelas yang telah dipilih secara acak, selanjutnya diberikan perlakukan yang diakhiri dengan tes kemampuan representasi dan literasi matematis pada kedua kelas tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil kajian dan analisis data dengan bantuan SPSS 24, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan pendekatan problem solving berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi dan literasi matematis siswa SMP, khususnya di kelas VIII SMP Negeri Banjarmasin. Terlihat jelas perbedaan cara menyelesaikan masalah yang diujikan kepada siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Melalui pendekatan problem solving, terbukti dapat menjadikan siswa terbiasa ketika menjumpai soal-soal pemecahan masalah selevel PISA atau TIMSS.The effect of problem solving approach to the ability mathematic representation and literature students AbstractIn the context of international scale assessment such as PISA, problem-solving competence in the field of mathematics and science related to real problems is the focus of developing students' mathematical representation competence and literacy. Given the importance of problem solving, the ability of representation and mathematical literacy, this study aims to determine the effect of problem solving approach on the ability of representation and mathematical literacy of junior high school students. The method used in this research is quasi experimental method, with the research design used is Randomized Posttest-Only Control Group Design, ie two classes that have been chosen randomly, then given treatment which ends with the test of representation ability and mathematical literacy in both classes. Based on the results of study and data analysis with the help of SPSS 24, it can be concluded that mathematics learning with problem solving approach affects the ability of representation and mathematical literacy of junior high school students, especially in class VIII SMP Negeri Banjarmasin. There is a clear difference in how to solve the problems tested to the experiment class and control class students. Through the problem solving approach, it is proven to make the students accustomed when encountering problem solving problems at PISA or TIMSS level.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh penggunaan Lembar Aktivitas Siswa (LAS) berbasis metode penemuan terbimbing terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMPN 3 Rambah pada siswa kelas VII. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal essay yang disusun berdasarkan indikator kemampuan representasi matematis. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji Mann Whitney diperoleh nilai Zhitung yaitu 2,13 dan nilai Ztabel yaitu 1,96. Hal ini berarti Zhitung > Ztabel dengan demikian sesuai kriteria penguhian hipotesis, Ho ditolak. Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan LAS berbasis metode penemuan terbimbing terhadap peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa SMP. The Effect of Use of Student Activity Sheets Based on Guided Discovery Method on Increasing Students Mathematical Representation Ability AbstractThis study aims to determine whether or not the influence of the use of Student Activity Sheet (SAS) based on guided discovery methods on the mathematical representation ability of junior high school students. This research was a quasi-experimental study with Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 Rambah in class VII students. The data collected was data on improving students mathematical representation abilities. The instrument used was an essay test which was arranged based on indicators of mathematical representation ability. The results of data analysis using the Mann Whitney test obtained a calculated value of 2.13 and a Ztable value of 1.96. This means that Zhitung> Ztable is thus according to the criteria of hypothesis testing, Ho was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the use of SAS based guided discovery method on improving the mathematical representation ability of junior high school students.

<p>The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of learning using SETS and local wisdom based colloids teaching material on 10th-gradesenior high school students. Pretest-posttest control group design was used as the study method. Two classes have participated. X<sub>A</sub> class was chosen as experiment group which was taught using SETS and local wisdom based colloids teaching material, while on the other hand X<sub>B </sub>class was chosen as the control group which was taught using conventional colloids teaching material. The study showed that there were significant differences between two treatments given. Entrepreneurial passion and concept understanding of experiment group were better than the control group. Overall, students’ entrepreneurial passion was good. Therefore, learning using SETS and local wisdom based colloids teaching material was effective to improve entrepreneurial passion and concept understanding of students</p><p> </p>

Background  : The main nutritional problem that many teenagers experience is Anemia. The World Health Organization (WHO) predicts about 27% of female adolescents in developing countries suffer from anemia. anemia in adolescents can be caused by several things such as teenagers' knowledge and attitudes to anemia. The provision of nutritional education is expected to increase student knowledge and attitudes about nutrition in anemia, especially for female students.Objective  :  The aims to Knowing effect of Providing Nutrition Education on Knowledge and Attitudes Regarding Anemia in students SMP N 31 Semarang.Method  : This study uses the True Experiment method design with a mixture of pre test post test control group design. The sample consisted of 27 treatment groups and 27 control groups. The data collected were data on knowledge and attitudes regarding anemia nutrition. The data explorer uses a questionnaire that was filled in by the respondent himself. Data analysis using Man Whitney test, Independent T Test and Anova Repeater measure.Result  : There was an effect of providing nutrition education on female students 'knowledge of anemia (p = 0,000) and there was an influence on the provision of nutrition education on female students' attitudes about anemia (p = 0,000).Conclusion  : The provision of nutritional education affects the knowledge and attitudes about anemia in Semarang City 31 Junior High School Students.

This study aims to analyze the investigative skills of Junior High School students upon the use of tracker video analysis for 21th century skill.This reasearch was quasy experimental reasearch using non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was 8th grade of SMP Negeri 4 Depok in academic year of 2018/2019, which consists of 4 classes with a total of 127 students. The samples consist of 30 students of class VIII A and 30 students of class VIII B, which are selected using cluster sampling technique. The Class VIII A was chosen as the control class, which used powerpoint and video, whereas Class VIII B was prepared as the experiment class, which used Tracker Video Analysis. The instruments used were pretest-posttest questions and observation sheet of investigative skill. The data analysis technique used was t-test. The result of this reasearch shows that the analysis through t-test gives a significance level value of investigative skill of 0.024 (Sig. α). This shows that there is an infuence of investigative skill of students upon Tracker Video Analysis.

The misconception of the Solar System topic is still found in students so that it becomes one of the obstacles in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of Predict-Observe-Explain-Apply (POEA) learning to change the junior high school students' conception in the Solar System topic. Quasi-experimental research with the non-equivalent control group design was conducted in one of the private junior high schools in Bandung city. Samples were selected based on the test of the average significance of the pretest score of the population. Furthermore, 30 students of the experimental class and 32 students of control class were selected. The research instrument, which consisted of 15 four-tier diagnostic test questions about Solar System were used to collect data before and after treatment. The tests were analyzed quantitatively by using the Mann-Whitney statistical test to determine the significance of the difference in the acceptable conception changes (Acceptable Change) of students in the experimental class with changes in the conception of students in the control class. The results of the research show that the implementation of POEA learning is significantly more effective than POE learning in changing the conception of Solar System topic. The findings of this study can be an alternative for junior high school teachers in planning learning about the Solar System, especially in an effort to change students' misconception about the Solar System.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran yang biasa digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode eksperimen semu. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Lampung Selatan. Simple random sampling merupakan teknik dalam pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini. Kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis N-gain kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi relasi dan fungsi diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa. Kata kunci: Auditory Intellectually Repetition, pemahaman konsep.   ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether the increasing of students mathematical concepts understanding on the class with Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model is better than on the class with usual learning models. This study is a quantitative research by using the quasi-experimental method. The design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population is all of eighth grade students of a Junior High School in South Lampung. Simple random sampling technique is used to get the sample. The VIII A class is the experimental class and VIII B class is the control class. Based on the results of the N-gain hypothesis test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts in relation and function material, the understanding of students' mathematical concepts with the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model is better than students who use usual learning models. The purpose of this study was to implement the tactical approach in developing junior high school students’ understanding and games performance in football. The method used in this research was experimental method with pre-test post-test control group design. The research involved two groups, including experimental group with tactical approach intervention and a group with technical approach intervention for developing understanding and skills in playing football of junior high school students. Two instruments were used in this study, namely (1) cognition instrument, multiple choice type, with C1 to C3 difficulty levels to measure students’ understanding in football games learning and (2) Game Performance Assessment Instrumen (GPAI) for measuring football games performance. The reseach involved junior high school students in Bandung. The data collected were analysed by using one-way MANOVA to see the relationship between the groups related to the development of uderstanding and enjoyment. The result of the analysis showed that the t value of understanding variable was -1.64 and significant at the level 0,05 (0,05≤ 0,05) with mean differences -1.32. It showed that there was a significant difference between the tactical and technical group in understanding aspect. Meanwhile, in football games performancevariable, the t value was -5.71 and significant at the level 0,00 (0,00 ≤ 0,05) with mean difference -3.97. It showed that there was a significant difference between the tactical and technical group in football playing skills. According to the result of analysis, it concludes that (1) The implementation of the tactical approach had an effect on students’ understanding in football games learning, (2) The implementation of tactical approach had an effect on games performance of the students in football games learning. AbstrakTujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengimplementasikan pendekatan taktis terhadap pengembangan pemahaman dan keterampilan bermain sepak bola siswa SMP. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan pretest posttest control group design. Melibatkan  dua kelompok, yaitu satu kelompok eksperimen dengan intervensi pendekatan taktis dan satu kelompok dengan intervensi pendekatan teknis (tradisional) terhadap pengembangan  pemahaman  dan keterampilan bermain sepakbola siswa SMP. Terdapat dua instrument yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu (1) instrument kognisi jenis multiple choise pada tingkat kesukaran C1 sampai dengan C3 yang akan digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman siswa dalam permbelajaran bermain sepak bola, (2) instrument tes keterampilan bermain sepakbola dengan menggunakan Game Permomance Assessment Instrumen (GPAI). Penelitian akan dilakukan pada siswa-siswi SMP dilingkungan kota Bandung. Semua data yang diperoleh akan analisis dengan menggunakan teknik manova satu jalur yang bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh antar kelompok baik pada pengembangan pemahaman dan kesenangan secara bersama-sama maupun masing-masing variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa pada variable pemahaman diperoleh nilai t sebesar -1.64 dan signifikan pada 0,05 (0,05 ≤ 0,05) dengan mean difference sebesar -1.32. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok taktis dan teknis terhadap pemahaman Sedangkan pada variable keterampilan bermain sepak bola diperoleh nilai t sebesar -5.71 dan signifikan pada 0,00 (0,00 ≤ 0,05) dengan mean difference sebesar -3.97. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok taktis dan teknis terhadap keterampilan bermain sepak bola. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Implementasi pendekatan taktis memberikan pengaruh terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam pembalajaran sepak bola, (2) Implementasi pendekatan taktis memberikan pengaruh terhadap keterampilan dasar bermain sepak bola siswa dalam pembalajaran sepak bola.

ABSTRACTThe research aimed is to describe and analyze: (1) increase the ability of students fractional arithmetic operation, (2) problem posing ability students, (3) students responses, and (4) implementing of teacher in the learning activity, when the learning problem posing by using buttons media on material fractional arithmetic operations in grade 4 elementary school of SD Negeri Telaga Asih 03 Bekasi district. The research was using Quasi Eksperimental design pattern with The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques were using test and non test techniques. Data obtained through the technique of statistical test were analyzed by Independent T-test trials using aid SPSS 24.0 for Windows. The research result show that: (1) n-gain score fractional arithmetic operation ability of students of two classes gain significancy value 0,000 ˃ 0,05, than the hypothesis of fractional arithmetic operation capability experimental class students who apply problem posing learning by using buttons media better than the fractional arithmetic operation capability control class that implements conventional learning be accepted, (2) the average score of students posttest problem posing ability experimental class students at 14,87 with medium qualifying better than the average score of posttest problem posing ability control class at 10,10 with low qualifications, (3) the percentage of students response to the learning reached 88.27% categorized as very positive, (4) the percentage of teacher implementing in the learning activity reached 97.1% with very good categories.Based on data analysis can be concluded that the Problem Posing Learning by Using Buttons Media can improve students fractional arithmetic operations and effectively applied to the material fractional arithmetic operations in the 4th grade of primary school. Keywords: Problem Posing Learning, Buttons Media, Fractional Arithmetic Operation Capability. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis: (1) peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung pecahan siswa, (2) kemampuan pengajuan masalah siswa, (3) tanggapan siswa, dan (4) aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran, saat pembelajaran pengajuan masalah berbantuan media kancing pada materi operasi hitung pecahan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pola rancangan Quasi Eksperimental dengan desain penelitian The Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik tes digunakan untuk mengukur peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung dan kemampuan pengajuan masalah siswa dengan instrumen berupa pretest dan posttest. Teknik non tes digunakan untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa dengan instrumen berupa angket serta untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan instrumen berupa lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh melalui teknik tes kemudian dianalisis statistik dengan uji Independent Sample T-test menggunakan bantuan SPSS 24.0 for Windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) skor n-gain kemampuan operasi hitung pecahan siswa dari kedua kelas memperoleh nilai signifkansi 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga hipotesis kemampuan operasi hitung pecahan siswa kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan pembelajaran pengajuan masalah berbantuan media kancing lebih baik dibandingkan dengan kemampuan operasi hitung pecahan siswa kelas kontrol yang menerapkan pembelajaran konvensional dapat diterima, (2) rata-rata skor posttest kemampuan pengajuan masalah siswa kelas eksperimen sebesar 14,87 dengan kualifikasi sedang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan rata-rata skor posttest kemampuan pengajuan masalah siswa kelas kontrol sebesar 10,10 dengan kualifikasi rendah, (3) persentase respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran  mencapai 88,27% dengan kategori sangat positif, (4) persentase aktivitas guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran mencapai 97,1% dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pengajuan masalah berbantuan media kancing dapat meningkatkan kemampuan operasi hitung pecahan siswa dan efektif diterapkan pada materi operasi hitung pecahan di kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Pengajuan Masalah, Media Kancing, Kemampuan Operasi Hitung Pecahan.
