The article explores current theoretical and practical approaches to expanded implementation of the principles of sustainable development paradigm within corporations. The essence of Sustainable Corporation and Sustainability as a factor of formation of the long-term corporation value is determined; the relationships between corporate social and financial performance are described; the existing methods for developing sustainability key performance indicators are discussed. The authors present a structural-logical scheme and algorithm of assessment of sustainable value added using indirect method. The scheme characterizes the distribution of the value among internal and external, financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Research background: rural tourism is an economic and environmental activity that fits harmoniously into the concept of sustainable and inclusive development. In Ukraine, it is called rural green tourism, but in practice not all aspects of it can meet the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Purpose of the article: to analyze the relationship between the structures of the rural tourism goals and the SDGs, to demonstrate the evolution, possibilities of the development on the example of Ukraine’s rural tourism, especially in the framework of the European Green Deal. Methods: factor analysis – when studying the structure of the rural tourism goals and the factors that affect it, as well as when comparing it with the structure of other sustainable activities; elements of graph theory – in the graphical analysis of the Sustainable Development Goals decomposition in their projection into the plane of rural tourism. Findings & Value added: the structure of the rural green tourism goals in Ukraine have been harmonized with the Sustainable Development Goals 2030. Sustainability factors have been identified that allow the tourism and recreation sphere in the medium and long term perspective not only to form a competitive market for relevant services, but also to serve as an important component of the inclusive development. Factors of tourism sphere transformation due to the coronavirus pandemic are taken into consideration. The concept of the phased programming in sphere of rural tourism in Ukraine within the framework of the European Green Deal 2030 and 2050 has been improved.

Industry 4.0 implies sustainable production by providing green products created through environmentally responsible processes. This paper aims to analyze the two main business processes responsible for energy innovation in a telecommunications company: “develop property strategy and long-term vision” and “evaluate environmental impact of products, services, and operations”. The processes will be introduced using an initial set of key-performance indicators (KPIs) and American Productivity & Quality Center (APQC) Process Classification Framework activities. Through value stream analysis, the non-value-added activities will be eliminated. Ultimately, to provide an overview for the stakeholders, a new set of KPIs will be proposed and the processes will be modeled using Event-Driven Process Chain (EPC) and Suppliers-Inputs-Process-Outputs-Customers (SIPOC) methods.

ABSTRAK Pembangunan berkelanjutan bukan suatu hal yang tidak dapat dilakukan, tetapi mimpi besar yang dapat dicapai ketika seluruh pihak kesatuan negara yang terlibat dalam pelaksanaan CSR terjalin dalam usaha kolaborasi yang kuat. Corporate Social Responsibility merupakan suatu operasi bisnis yang berkomitmen tidak hanya untuk meningkatkan keuntungan perusahaan secara finansial tetapi untuk membantu pembangunan sosial-ekonomi kawasan secara holistik, melembaga, dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mewujudkan pembangunan berkelanjutan, PBB menetapkan SDGs ( Sustainable Development Goals ) sebagai agenda untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan prinsip universal, terintegrasi dan inklusif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah metode studi literatur dengan mencari relevansi antara teori yang sesuai dengan kasus atau permasalahan yang dikaji. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan CSR dianggap sebagai bagian integral dari pembangunan berkelanjutan, yang mana pembangunan berkelanjutan bukan hanya dijalankan oleh perusahaan dan pemerintah saja namun semua stakeholder yang terlibat menjadi partisipan dalam setiap pelaksanaan program tanggungjawab sosial suatu perusahaan. Untuk itu dalam upaya mendorong pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka membuat Kampung Konservasi Otsuka sebagai bentuk CSR yang berprinsip pada pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kampung Konservasi Otsuka merupakan program jangka panjang. Diharapkan dengan Kampung Konservasi Otsuka ini terbentuknya masyarakat yang mampu melakukan upaya konservasi mandiri, dan mampu meningkatkan pendapatan/penghasilan secara ekonomi. Keberhasilan program diharapkan juga dapat memberikan dampak yang dapat mendorong setiap orang lebih peduli dengan lingkungannya.  ABSTRACT Sustainable development is not something that cannot be done, but a big dream that can be done by a compilation of all parties involved in implementing CSR is established in a strong collaborative effort. CSR is a business operation that is approved not only to increase the company's profitability financially but also to support the socio - economic development, institutionalized and sustainable. To realize sustainable development, the U nited Nations sets the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) as an agenda for sustainable development by applying universal, integrated and inclusive. The method used in this article is the method of studying literature by looking for relevance between theo ries that correspond to the case or problem being studied. The results of the study show how the implementation of CSR is considered an integral part of sustainable development. PT. Amerta Indah Otsuka created the Otsuka Conservation Village as a form of C SR that is based on sustainable development. Otsuka Conservation Village is a long - term program. It is hoped that with this Otsuka Conservation Village, communities will be able to provide independent assistance, and be able to increase income. The sustain ability program is expected to produce results that can encourage everyone to be more concerned with their environment.

In recent years, attention has been increasingly paid to social-, environmental-, and ecology-related issues in the areas of diverse business operations. The concept of sustainable development of enterprises is an attempt to integrate a diverse set of requirements for the development of companies in the long-term future. The concept, which is set in a contradictory context of economic, social, and environmental aspects, is an attempt to balance fundamentally divergent requirements and aspirations. Sustainable enterprise development can be a source of competitiveness, provided the opportunities related to it are identified and implemented in a proper way. The research objective of this study is to diagnose the relationship between the company’s orientation towards the implementation of sustainability assumptions, the degree of implementation of the objectives of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, as well as the creation of value in a sustainable enterprise. The survey was conducted on a sample of 165 FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) sector enterprises. The results indicate the existence of a positive correlation between the variables analysed in the surveyed enterprises. Entrepreneurs guided by sustainable development pursue economic and non-economic values and have a more comprehensive set of appropriate measures necessary to create value in a sustainable enterprise, which consists of achieving economic, ecological, and social goals.

This chapter analyzes the academic debate regarding the need to adopt a long-term vision of CSR strategies. It's based on the premise that short run is the dominant approach in financial markets, and this situation could be negatively conditioning the long-term sustainability value creation. New social values may be requesting different management decisions from companies, prioritizing long-term over short term results. A thorough literature review has been done across specialized journals, international reports, and key legislation, trying to determine and model the elements facilitating this sustainable value creation. It shows the alignment needed between CEO and their shareholders within the framework of corporate governance to create long-term value within CSR. There are signs of a possible financial over-performance of companies that strategically create a shared value with stakeholders based on environmental, social, and governance objectives, selected due to their materiality. A model is proposed to consider a long-term approach creating sustainable value in organizations.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to develop and explore the policy concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a focus for sustainable development. To this end, it develops and explores the implications of a distinction between CSR as a marketing strategy and a more sustainable long-term commitment to changes in organizational culture and also society. Design/methodology/approach This a conceptual paper which develops a policy research framework for examining the CSR rationale as well as general concept as applied to the “plastic bags” public awareness campaign in the Malaysian case study. On this basis, its central inquiry approach is to develop and explore the distinction between surface and deep modes of CSR policy implementation as also related modes of social learning. Findings The findings from the conceptual inquiry recognize that corporations which fail to apply a deep rather than a surface commitment to their own CSR polices will sooner or later be judged on that basis by their customers as well as external stakeholders. Although CSR policies will always involve a corporate marketing focus, this is sustainable only if framed by a long-term organizational commitment to accountable change. Originality/value The paper makes, develops and further explores a basic accountability distinction between surface and deep modes of CSR as a management commitment, corporate policy implementation and related processes of corporate cultural change. This links to the paper’s associated innovation of linking CSR as both internal organizational learning and a larger sustainable development process of social learning.

The topic of making investment and choosing the most effective trends of investing money is becoming more acute for today’s organizations due to numerous crisis economic events and accompanying difficulties with capital reproduction. In researching options of investment special attention is paid to strategic aspects of alternative financial and technological opportunities of putting in resources and forecasting the horizon of recovery of the investment. Apart from this, the research interest is aroused by the impact of basic lines of enterprises’ investment on the level of their economic results together with trends of providing long-term sustainable development. The authors analyzed cases of the biggest Russian industrial organizations, identified correlation between investment flows within the frames of the organization and the effect of investment on the basis of consolidated accounting of these companies. The article analyzes some investment projects of the NMLK Group and the PAO Sibur, for instance, introduction of innovation model of making forecast concerning breaking-down of critical equipment and the system of corporate social responsibility. The authors made recommendations on prioritization of aspects of socially important trends of investment for today’s big companies, which could lead to raising efficiency of organizations’ work and thus to principles of sustainable development

From 1987 economic development is challenged with the sustainability paradigm that aims to promote a sustainable development of a triple bottom lines, economic, social and environmental. UNWTO and WTTC promoted Agenda 21 by stating that tourism stakeholders have to participate in sustainable development of the territories. The engagement of tourism businesses including hotels, equipped themselves with a number of tools such as CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). By the impregnation and the stage of governmental actions, sustainable development becomes a global value. Thus, transnational hotels operating in Bali are required by Indonesian law since 2007 to integrate the CSR program, requiring them to bring benefit to the local community in a holistic sense. Transnational hotels are required to participate in local sustainable development, but also to meet the requirements of Balinese traditional theological philosophy, ecological and social known as Tri Hita Karana. This research therefore challenges the western paradigm of sustainability, which aspires to universalism by questioning its ability to integrate cultural specificity in the Balinese case, by combining reflective and pragmatic approach, focused more specifically on the particular case of transnational hotels. They are essential agents of the international tourism boom in Bali since 1970.

Research background: The responsibility of organizations towards their surroundings and society is a long-term strategic goal, which is supported by various projects and concepts, at the national, and global levels. The conception of sustainable development represents a model of society development, where economic and social development should be in line with the preservation of natural values for present and future generations. Purpose of the article: The concept of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a voluntary commitment of an organization that wants to behave responsibly towards its surroundings. The concept is generally understood as a strategic initiative and it is applied mainly by large companies. Small and medium-sized companies are rather not interested in the concept, they are afraid of the burden for the company. The paper focuses on the potential of systematic use of the CSR concept by small organizations. Methods: The survey was conducted in selected small organizations. The degree of acquaintance with the principles of the concept and especially with the possibilities of the concept was determined, the current state was analyzed and activities for implementation were proposed, and indicators for long-term monitoring were proposed. Findings & Value added: CSR concept encourages the company to make a positive impact on the environment. Small organizations often apply some of its principles, unknowingly by their natural responsible behavior. However, a systems-conscious approach is important. Small businesses can use the potential of the concept and implement its principles for the benefit of themselves and their surroundings.
