The aim of this study is to design, build and validate a scale for the measurement of Saudi industrial Organizations' SC Management Practices (SCMP), and also to evaluate its efficiency at various SCM measurements. The analysis identified 20 constructs of (SCMPs) based on a comprehensive literature review; namely Strategic Partnership of Suppliers (SPS), Customer Relationship (CR), Information Sharing (IS), Information Quality (IQ), Postponement (PST), Agreed Vision and Goals (AVG), Sharing of Risks and Rewards (SRR), Lean Manufacturing (LM), Total Quality Management (TQM), Organizational Culture (OC), Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Benchmarking and Performance Measurement (BPM), Agile Manufacturing (AM), Outsourcing (OUT), Just In Time Manufacturing (JIT), Green SC Management (GSCM), Reverse Logistics (RL), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), and SC Integration (SCI), and four SCM performance structures in particular namely; Flexibility Perspective (FLP), Efficiency Perspective (EFP), Customer’s Perspective (CSP), Product Innovation Perspective (PIP). A survey tool based on the existing literature was developed and relevant data were collected from 351 Industrial Saudi organizations on this tool. In the data analysis the validation of the instrument is mainly carried out with confirmatory factor analysis in terms of unidimensionality, durability, convergent validity, discriminant validity, nomological validity, and the associated validity criteria. A parsimonious instrument that makes an important contribution to the SCM literature is generated by the results of this research. The instrument will allow an enterprise to incorporate various SCMPs, to keep track of the implementation status, and then to evaluate SCM performance to the SCM dimensions.

AbstractThe pandemic has hit the tourism industry in various ways. P2P accommodation (P2PA) is one of most disrupted sectors. Different types of P2PA hosts are confronting different levels of challenges. From an angle of social equity, the study adopted a resilience model to examine the resilience of P2PA hosts’ business during the first COVID outbreak in Florida, USA. Statistical results show P2PA hosts’ business resilience negatively associates with their housing liability and hosting experience. Social superiority in owning more assets can be a defect in coping with COVID crisis. P2PA operators need to maintain an appropriate level of financial flexibility when faced with the threat of COVID outbreaks. We suggest the government and industrial organizations to distinguish the types of P2PA operators when carrying out rescue plans for the industry.

The article substantiates the urgent need for the formation of import-substituting clusters in the agro-industrial complex to ensure food security. In modern reality, carrying out business activities, agro-industrial organizations are already using the advantages of integration to a certain extent, but at the same time, the key interests and guidelines of allied participants in entrepreneurial activities are insufficiently balanced. The authors have identified the methodological features of the formation of the subject of integration (agri-food polycluster formation), using the cluster tools of intersectoral reengineering. The basis for the introduction of the subjects of integration - allied participants in entrepreneurial activity - was their initial assessment and analysis of the factors and conditions of business activity, where the negative results of import substitution, which is an effective threat to food security, can be traced as much as possible. Evaluation of the target pairing through the integration of related business participants allows one to quantitatively assess the predominance of the target points of integration subjects - related business participants using information at the macro and micro levels.

Risk management is particularly important at the present time and constitute a new approach in firms, has seen all industries acceleration and great changes in recent years, in order to benefit from risk management to provide protection for firms and continuity performance its activities should provide the critical success factors for risk management. The research problem is represented in the role of risk management on the performance of industrial firms in Sudan, the research aims to deepen the understanding of risk management and its application to firms and to know the reasons that led to the failure and faltering of the performance of these firms as well as finding appropriate solutions ,The researcher used the descriptive-analytical method in conducting this study and designed a questionnaire as the main tool for data collection, This research develops through the assumption that there is a positive relationship between risk management and the performance of the firm where the study found that risk management practices are applied in moderate proportions by the leaders and employees of the Sudanese industrial firms and dominated by the reactive method rather than proactive, One of the most important recommendations of the study is that industrial organizations have to adopt effective systems for managing organizational risks and that they be monitored and reviewed for deviations in order to be in line with the strategy of the firm.

Abstract Studies and production experience show that with an increase in the mass and power-weight factor of tractors, the return on investment in this technical progress field decreases. The paper justifies that at the current stage, the priority is to reduce the energy consumption of mechanized processes and comply with agro-technological requirements in the changing natural and production conditions. It reflects the areas of designing tractors and the effectiveness of their operation. The compaction effect on the soil is shown, taking into account the types of movers. The authors propose to complete the tractor fleet for various agro-industrial organizations.

The e-learning and assessment systems became a dominant technology nowadays and distribute across the globe. With severe consequences of COVID19-like crises, the key importance of such technology appeared in which courses, quizzes and questionnaires have to be conducted remotely. Moreover, the use of Learning Management Systems (LMSs), such as blackboard, eCollege, and Moodle, has been sanctioned in all respects of education. This paper presents an open-source interactive Quiz Maker and Management System (QMMS) that suits the research, education (under-grad, grad, or post-grad), and industrial organizations to perform distant quizzes, training and questionnaires with an integration facility with other LMS tools such as Moodle. The proposed system supports three basic levels: 1) administration, 2) instructors, and 3) learners at the micro-level teaching. The proposed system is adopted using .Net framework integrated with SQL-Server database engine that compromise between performance, security and stability. The proposed QMMS is described through different phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including detailed analysis, design, implementation, testing, verification, and maintenance in order to exploit the importance of the analysis and design of LMS from the software engineering point of view. A comparative analysis, among the proposed system and a recent list of challenging ones, is presented in different aspects that shows the effectiveness, reliability and validity of proposed tool. Moreover, the proposed QMMS shows an enhancement ratio of up to 42.19% in response time perspective as compared to Moodle system in the case of massive concurrent transactions.

This article examines the main aspects of the economic policy of the German administration within the Kolomyia region during 1941-1944. On the bases of „Vollia Pokuttya“ news, the directions of Germany economic governance in the agrarian and trade commercial sector were singled out. The economic policy pursued by the German occupation authorities in the Kolomyia region vividly reflected the general trend of expansionist use of industrial and human potential in the district of Galicia. This led to acts of disobedience and sabotage of grain supplies by the peasants and a harsh reaction from the authorities. Nazi officials pursued a similar policy in the cities. By allowing the resumption of business and cooperatives, the Germans hoped to gain the loyalty of local residents. However, support could not be achieved, as de facto control over the above institutions continued to be exercised by various governmental economic groups, which included all existing industrial organizations, craft associations, and consumer cooperatives. Mobilization and organization government measures concerning the departure of the population for job to the Reich were illuminated, and also described their life conditions and social-legal status. In particular, the goal of agricultural and handicraft courses, which operated in Kolomyia’s county, was analyzed. The paper highlights that the organization of professional education was suitable for pragmatic considerations of the Nazi administration, as military failures give the power a push to attract local population to spend active agricultural life. This study is the first attempt of complex assessment of economic policy of the German occupation regime in the mentioned terrains. Therefore, the results of this paper are important both for the further development of historical regionalism and in the context of studies devoted to the Second World War

The knowledge available in the organization has become a competitive advantage that distinguishes it from other industrial organizations, and the knowledge is represented by the availability of individuals who have information, stored knowledge, and different technologies. The grace of reason and through it thinking is now the most powerful and influential weapon most objective to determine the progress of societies, countries and industrial organizations, so most countries and industrial organizations have worked to take advantage of these capabilities that humans enjoy by investing in it, which leads to obtaining several benefits. The dimensions of intellectual capital management in industrial organizations, or what are called the main areas of their work, are determined to (strategic leadership in industrial organizations, planning intellectual capital, owning, developing, and retaining talent, the organizational culture of industrial organizations geared to results). From the above, the research problem can be formulated in a major question: Which of these four dimensions is the most important dimension, and what is the arrangement of dimensions in terms of importance? The aim of the research is to shed light on the intellectual capital and depend on a clear of a researcher with the aims that it seek to achieves, a descriptive analytical approach has been use, and a research has reaches the sets of result, a most impertinent of which: that after a strategic leadership of a educational institution achieved higher importance in terms of averages followed by the dimension Regarding the organizational culture of industrial organizations, in light of the research results, it is recommended to carry out a broader comprehensive survey of all members of the industrial organization and classify the members according to the affiliation in order to find the differences in the philosophical concept of the importance of removing intellectual capital.
