Employee performance remains a challenge for companies because of the increasingly competitive level of competition. Organizations are increasingly required to focus on Human Resource Management (HRM) to improve organizational sustainability. Achieving organizational sustainability becomes unrealistic without employee participation and commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance, job demands, job insecurity on employee performance with employee well-being as a mediating variable. The research method used is explanatory quantitative with SEM-PLS. The sample in this study were 100 employees of PT Jaya Lautan Global. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sampling (census). The results showed that Work-Life Balance and Job Demands had a positive and significant effect on Employee Well-Being. Job Insecurity has a negative and significant effect on Employee Well-Being. Work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job Demands have a negative and significant effect on employee performance, while Job Insecurity has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance. Employee well-being has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the mediation show that employee well-being can partially mediate the effect of work-life balance and job insecurity on employee performance, while employee well-being can fully mediate the effect of job demands on employee performance.

The study aims to identify how workplace stress and employee behaviour impair the work-life balance of faculty members of Higher Education Institutes in Karachi, Pakistan. This study has included a quantitative survey research design. The study collected 386 sample responses from faculty members using the purposive sampling technique. The PLS-SEM analysis was used for data analysis through SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results have shown that employee behaviour has a positive and significant effect on ER, IR, and WLB; workplace stress has a positive and significant effect on anxiety; workplace stress has a positive and significant effect on time stress, and workplace stress has a negative and significant effect on work-life balance. Furthermore, the study recommends using person-centered stress management techniques for possible work-life stress and employee well-being. Offering relaxation/care exercise classes, enabling wellness, and supplying facilities, such as gymnasiums, encouraging safe living, healthy eating options, and providing guidance are just a few examples. This study is significant for employee’s well-being because the findings will allow them to understand and negotiate their roles throughout the family and work-life. By understanding the importance of WLB, employees would be able to introspect themselves to cope with their job and relationship management. Similarly, management can identify career stages and help employees with the development tasks they experience at each stage. Lastly, the study implications accentuate that by formulating appropriate strategies, management can help employees and retain them as essential organizational assets.

Work-life balance entails to the working arrangements that ensure an employee's personal and professional duties are balanced. Poor work-life balance is a key risk that jeopardizes employee well-being, performance, and organizational effectiveness. Most employees find it difficult to strike a balance between their personal lives and their work obligations. Work-life balance is linked to the stability between the time and effort employees devote to work and also attend personal responsibilities to maintain an overall sense of synchronization in life. State corporations such as Geothermal Development Company are currently operating in an extremely competitive environment. This demand for more responsiveness and efficiency of employees that is brought about by Work-life balance as adopted in private organizations. The main objective of this study was to investigate the influence of work-centred life and employee performance at Geothermal Development Company. The anchor theory of the study was Spill-over Theory that was reinforced by Compensation Theory. The study adopted a descriptive research design. Data was collected using structured questionnaires from the senior management, middle management, and lower-level support staffs of Geothermal Development Company. The target population of the study was 341 and the study’s sample size was 102. The study used stratified random sampling. The researcher conducted a pilot study using 10% of the respondents before the questionnaires were distributed for data collection. Pre-testing and expert opinion were used to examine the instrument's validity. The instrument's dependability was tested using the Cronbach’s alpha reliability test. The qualitative data was analyzed with the aid of SPSS version 26.0. Inferential statistics (correlations and regression analysis) was used by the researcher to show the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Pearson correlation helped in envisaging and defining the relationship between the variables. Data was presented on tables and figures. The study concluded that work-centered life had significant influence on employee performance. The researcher recommends that the management of GDC should enhance their policies on work-centred life by formulation and implementation of modern policies, and this should be cascaded down to departmental level. Employee is an asset to the company. Employees have a very important role for companies to achieve corporate goals. To keep employee performance to remain productive then it is necessary. Job satisfaction of an employee within the organization can’t be separated from career development, and work life balance. This research was conducted to determine the effect of Work-life Balance and Career Development on Job Satisfaction. This type of research uses a causal quantitative method. The data used for the research is primary data obtained from questionnaires distributed to 30 respondents employees of PT. Telkomsel, Tbk Branch Malang. The sampling technique used was the census. Data analysis method used is multiple linear regression. The results of research indicate that Work-Life Balance and Career Development affect simultaneously to Employee Satisfaction. Partially, work life balance significantly to employee job satisfaction. Career development has a significant effect on employee job satisfaction, will be falling again. The most dominant effect on employee job satisfaction is the work balance.

Human capital is a key factor in achieving high performance by a company. However, employees who are dissatisfied with their work have low productivity, which has a negative impact on the company's performance. Therefore, it is important for company management to identify and evaluate the factors that have a significant impact on the employee performance in modern conditions. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of job satisfaction and work-life balance on employee performance and organizational commitment as mediating variable. The object of this study is group customer operations in telecommunication companies. Data was collected using the online questionnaire on Microsoft 365. This sampling technique uses a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling method where six divisions of customer operations groups in a telecommunications company used as respondents can return 195 questionnaires. The sample consisted of males 116 (59.5%) and 79 females (40.5%). In this study the authors use the data analysis method using SEM (Structural Equation Model) with calculation tools. The study results show that job satisfaction and organizational commitment are the main factors that can improve employee performance and employee resilience. At the same time, work-life balance does not affect the employee performance in the studied telecommunication companies. Job satisfaction and organizational commitment in group customer operation in telecommunication must be further improved so that management gets more productive and effective human resources in increasing the company's target to become a superior company in the telecommunications industry.

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a phenomenon that collaborates with cyber technology and automation technology. this research aims to conduct scientific research on the role of work-life balance and the level of welfare of millennial employees through work engagement as a variable intervening. The participation of respondents to this study is the general of millennials who has worked in the Jakarta area, aged 21-36 years. Researchers used the purposive sampling method. This study uses a work-life balance measurement tool with a balance dimension in time management, engagement balance, balance in expectation fulfillment, and satisfaction balance. Besides, at the level of well-being with meaningful work-life factors, good social relationships, work attachment, self-actualization, comfortable circumstances, self-acceptance. While employee performance is measured through the work environment, ability to do work, and motivation. Work Engagement is measured by vigor, dedication, and absorption indicators. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling based on VB-SEM using SmartPLS software. The results showed that five hypotheses of direct influence were accepted and one rejected. While the two hypotheses of indirect influence are each rejected and accepted. Work Engagement variables as intervening variables are only capable of mediating Work-Life Balance against Employee Performance.

Work-life balance is one of the prevailing issues in many organizations. Inability of workers to balance work and family could lead to increased rates of absenteeism, stress, employee turnover, job dissatisfaction and poor work performance. It is therefore essential for employees to maintain stability between work and their private lives. This research examined the effect of work-life balance on employee performance of selected deposit money banks in Lagos State, Nigeria. Survey research design was adopted. The target population was 54,028 employees, which consisted of all employees of the six selected Deposit Money Banks in Lagos State, Nigeria. A sample size comprising 520 employees were selected using random sampling technique. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire. Data were analysed using descriptive statistics and simple regression analysis. The findings revealed that job stress significantly affects quality of work of employees (F= 33.500, p< 0.05); and long working hours significantly affects motivation of employees in the selected deposit money banks in Lagos State (F= 8.716, p< 0.05). However, the study reveals that role overload has no significant effect on job satisfaction of employees in selected deposit money banks in Lagos State (F= 0.011, p> 0.05). This study concludes that work-life balance has significant effect on employee performance in the selected deposit money banks in Lagos State, Nigeria.

Employee satisfaction with organizational policies causes greater organizational productivity as a result of employee performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of work-life balance, job stress and job satisfaction on employee performance at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Makassar Panakkukang Branch. This study uses a saturated sampling technique, used a sample of 62 respondents employees of Makassar Panakkukang Branch Office. This writing data is obtained from questionnaires (primary), literature studies and direct interviews with related parties according to the purpose of writing. The analysis technique uses PLS data analysis consisting of structural models, measurement models, and Sobel models. The writing results show that work-life balance has a significant and negative effect on employee work stress, work-life balance also has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, while work-life balance does not directly influence employee performance, work stress has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work-life balance through work stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and work-life balance through job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance

This study examines work life balance and employees performance in money deposit bank in South West Nigeria using GT Bank, Access Bank and WEMA Bank as a case study. Many organizations in western countries recognize the importance of work-life balance, where employees now prefer work-life balance over higher wages. Companies must realize the importance of work-life balance consistently concerning productivity, employee performance, and improving the quality of life of employees. A stratified sampling technique was adopted for this study and survey research method using questionnaire a research instrument. A total number of 1200 employees were selected for this study. The result of the study shows that there is a significant positive relationship between work life balance and Employee performance among employees of Deposit Monetary banks (r = .510; P<.05). The study recommends that recommends that banks in South West Nigeria implement non-monetary rewards as a cost-effective way of boosting morale of the workforce.

Work-Life balance has its importance from ancient days and the concept is very old, from the day the world has been created. There was a drastic change that has occurred in the market of teachers and their personal profiles. There are tremendous changes in various families which have bartered from the ‘breadwinner’ role of traditional men to single parent families and dual earning couples. This study furnishes an insight into work life balance and job satisfaction of teachers working in School of Villupuram District. The sample comprises of 75 school teachers from Government and private schools in Villupuram District. The Study results that there is increasing mediating evidence in Work-life balance as well as Job satisfaction of teachers are not affected by the type of school in which they are working. Job satisfaction or Pleasure of life will be affected as a whole by Work life balance of an individual which is the main which can be calculated by construct of subjective well being.
