The low cost effective wireless sensor network that The low cost effective wireless sensor network that allows for embedded system to monitor and control virtually any space and environment and to form the so called Internet of Things or Internet of Everything. The research work is intended to address a general problem associated with effective water utilization management, among others is the issue of water leakages, there is the need to effectively detect cases of leakages and address them appropriately. However, the sensitivity of the flow rate sensors used poses a number of challenges, hence the need to setup an appropriate calibration scheme that will allows for the flow rate sensor, effective adoption and usage ,isolating false alarm due to deficiencies associated with operation of the flow rate sensor as well as detecting leakages . A frame work build around a flow rate sensor, solenoid valve, a microcontroller equipped with internet connectivity and a log in service monitoring and control platform on the cloud is used. Several simulated tests were carried out to explore a number of leakage scenarios. Based on the analysed data obtained overtime, appropriate algorithms were developed to allow for quick detection, remote monitoring and control of deduced cases of leakages. The work has significantly addressed the challenges poses to the effect leakages with the adopted framework.

The objective of this work is to explore the implementation of a low-cost real-time monitoring and control of water consumption together with a user feedback interface. Water usage information will be available in a cloud storage and can be accessed through a mobile application. The collected data allows access and supervision of both client- and water concessionaire. Project feasibility is analyzed in terms of hardware and software, as well as each element required for the design. The simulations were carried out with the purpose of verifying system operation, considering the following metrics: transmission rate, signal strength and transmission quality. After the simulations, the hardware and software were integrated, and the final result was presented through a mobile application. This work presents and applies a design and development methodology of Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) using Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and Smart City in water-distribution systems.

The Internet of Things is another information technology revolution and industrial wave after computer, Internet and mobile communication. It is becoming a key foundation and an important engine for the green, intelligent and sustainable development of economic society. The new networked intelligent production mode characterized by the integration innovation of the Internet of Things is shaping the core competitiveness of the future manufacturing industry. The application of sensor network data positioning and monitoring technology based on the Internet of Things in industry, power and other industries is a hot field for the development of the Internet of Things. Sensor network processing and industrial applications are becoming increasingly complex, and new features have appeared in the sensor network scale and infrastructure in these fields. Therefore, the Internet of Things perception data processing has become a research hotspot in the deep integration process between industry and the Internet of Things. This paper deeply analyzes and summarizes the characteristics of sensor network perception data under the new trend of the Internet of Things as well as the research on location monitoring technology, and makes in-depth exploration from the release and location monitoring of sensor network perception data of the Internet of Things. Sensor network technology integrated sensor technology, micro-electromechanical system technology, wireless communication technology, embedded computing technology and distributed information processing technology in one, with easy layout, easy control, low power consumption, flexible communication, low cost and other characteristics. Therefore, based on the release and location monitoring technologies of sensor network data based on the Internet of Things in different applications, this paper studies the corresponding networking technologies, energy management, data management and fusion methods. Standardization system in wireless sensor network low cost, and convenient data management needs, design the iot oriented middleware, and develops the software and hardware system, the application demonstration, the results show that the design of wireless sensor network based on iot data monitoring and positioning technology is better meet the application requirements, fine convenient integration of software and hardware, and standardized requirements and suitable for promotion.

This paper presents the development of a cost-effective automatic system for greenhouse environment control. The architectural and functional features were analyzed in the context of the realization of a controlled-environment agricultural system through all its stages: installation, deployment of the software, integration, maintenance, crop control strategy setup and daily operation of the grower. The proposed embedded platform provides remote monitoring and control of the greenhouse environment and is implemented as a distributed sensing and control network integrating wired and wireless nodes. All nodes were built with low-cost, low-power microcontrollers. The key issues that were addressed include the energy-efficient control, the robustness of the distributed control network to faults and a low-cost hardware implementation. The translation of the supervisory growth-planning information to the operational (control network) level is achieved through a specific architecture residing on a crop planning module (CPM) and an interfacing block (IB). A suite of software applications with flows and interfaces developed from a grower-centric perspective was designed and implemented on a multi-tier architecture. The operation of the platform was validated through implementation of sensing and control nodes, application of software for configuration and visualization, and deployment in typical greenhouses.

This paper proposes a novel industrial wireless sensor network for industrial machine condition monitoring. To avoid unexpected equipment failures and obtain higher accuracy in diagnostic and prognostic for the health condition of a motor, efficient and comprehensive data collecting, monitoring, and control play an important role to improve the system more reliable and effective. A novel wireless data collection for health monitoring system of electric machine based on wireless sensor network is proposed and developed in this paper. The unique characteristics of ZigBee networks such as low power, low cost, and high flexibility make them ideal for this application. The proposed system consists of wireless sensor nodes which are organized into a monitoring network by ZigBee protocols. A base station and wireless nodes have been developed to form a prototype system. Various sensors have the capability to monitor physiological as well as environmental conditions. Therefore proposed system provides a flexible solution that makes our living spaces more intelligent.

Switchyard is the interconnection of generating station and grid. The generated power from the generating station is transmitted to the grid through switchyard. Switchyard is used to give a secured power to the grid. In our process SCADA is used to operate and control the switchyard operations. SCADA is a emerging trend in WSN technology. It is a transceiver used to transmit and receive data in full duplex mode. The switchyard is controlled and monitored from the UCB room through the underground cables. But in our process it is done by SCADA MODULE. These modules are fixed in switchyard and another in UCB room. In the switchyard side it is controlled by microcontroller and in UCB room side it is by operator. If any operation such as opening/closing the isolator , generator breaker can be done by operator by giving command to SCADA module in UCB side. The SCADA module receives the command signal and transfer it to microcontroller. It will do the operation through relay module. In this concept we are replacing cables by wireless sensor network SCADA by using Mesh topology
