This study aims to determine the effect of mathematical problem solving ability of learners who follow the learning by using an instructional model of maple assisted software assisted, with learners who use, study group investigation model, as well as learners who follow the conventional learning model conducted by researchers on participants Students of class X SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro. This type of research is a quasi experimental research with posttest only control design design. Hypothesis test using a one-way anava test with unequal cells and obtained the conclusion that the model of group investigation learning is better than an instructional model of maple assisted software group and both models of learning is better than conventional learning model. Based on the results of analysis and discussion of research data obtained that there is an influence on the ability of solving mathematical problems among students in class applying group investigation model assisted maple software, students in class apply only group investigation learning model, and students whose class apply the conventional learning model on the principal Discussion of the matrix.

This study aims to determine whether the learning model of Quantum Teaching can improve the ability of solving mathematical problems of students in grade VIII SMPN 1 Cinangka Serang District Academic Year 2017/2018. This study used quasi experimental research, the research design used was pretest-posttest control group design and sampling using cluster random sampling with class VIII E as many as 32 students as experimental class and class VIII D as many as 32 students as control class. The result of posttest hypothesis test shows that learning with Quantum Teaching model is better than conventional learning with tcount = 3.087 and ttable = 1,999 so H0 is rejected. The result of the gain test shows thitung = 2,922 so H0 is rejected then it shows that the learning model of Quantum Teaching can improve the mathematical problem solving ability of the students of grade VIII SMPN 1 Cinangka Serang regency for academic year 2017/2018.

The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) model of learning ability to solve mathematical problems of learners; (2) to know the effect of learning habit on students' mathematical problem solving ability; (3) to know the interaction between learning model and study habit to students' mathematical problem solving ability. The type of research used is quasi experiment with 3 × 3 factorial research design. The hypothesis test used is a parametric test with data analysis technique using Anova test. The result of the research for the prerequisite test is based on normality test which can be known by using Liliefors test and homogeneity test can be known by using Barlett test, it is obtained that the test result data from both groups are normal and homogeneous, so it can be continued for parametric test by using anava test two paths with unequal cells. Based on data processing, it is found that: (1) there is influence of Think Talk Write (TTW) learning model to students' mathematical problem-solving ability; (2) there is the influence of learning habit on the ability of mathematical problem of learners; (3) there is no interaction between the learning model and the learning habits of the mathematical problems of the learners. This means that the learning model Think Talk Write (TTW) is more effective than the conventional model so that Think Talk Write (TTW) model more influence on the problem-solving ability of learners.

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah yang dianalisis melalui lembar jawaban siswa Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Salapian dengan sampel penelitian adalah Kelas VII-B yang diberikan perlakukan pembelajaran kontekstual dan kelas VII-C yang diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Terdapat perbedaan kemamuan pemecahan masalah matematika antara siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kontekstual dengan siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Pada penelitian ini didapat bahwa proses jawaban siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran kontekstual lebih baik dari proses jawaban siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran berbasis masalah.Kata kunci:   Pembelajaran kontekstual, pembelajaran berbasis masalah, kemampuanpemecahan masalah ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the differences in mathematical problem solving abilities of students who obtain contextual learning with students who obtain problem-based learning which is analyzed through student answer sheets. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The population in this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Salapian with a sample of the study was Class VII-B which was given the treatment of contextual learning and class VII-C given the treatment of problem-based learning. There are differences in the ability to solve mathematical problems between students who get contextual learning with students who get problem-based learning. In this study it was found that the answer process of students who get contextual learning is better than the answer process of students who get problem-based learning.Keywords: Contextual Learning, Problem Based Learning,Problem solving skill

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model were better than the mathematics problem-solving abilities of students who received the Problem Solving learning model. The research was conducted at MTs Al-Iman Bulus Purworejo class IX A and IX B. The research method used was a quasi-experimental design, which refers to the instrument of students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. The study population came from grade IX students, with a total of 401 students. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling. The prerequisite test of normality, homogeneity, and balance before treatment showed that the data were normally distributed, homogeneous, and balanced. The prerequisite test for normality and homogeneity of the data after treatment showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The hypothesis test calculation using the t-test obtained of 2,2431 and with α = 5% ( ) of 1,6667. Based on the hypothesis testing results, the value of then is rejected; this means that the problem-solving ability of students who receive the MMP learning model is better than students who receive the Problem Solving learning model.

This writing aims to see the effect of using the SAVI learning model on students' problem solving abilities. The type of writing is quantitative writing. The sampling technique used was randomized class. The data collection technique used is the essay test technique. The data analysis technique used is the two jaur anava test. Based on the hypothesis test obtained, the results show that there are influences of students with treatment using the SAVI learning model to improve mathematical problem solving skills in algebraic factorization material better than students with the treatment of learning using conventional learning both in general and in each category. the independence of students' mathematical learning. There is interaction between mathematical problem solving abilities of students who have high mathematical learning independence better than students who have moderate and low mathematical learning independence. While students who have mathematical learning independence are better than students who have low mathematical learning independence. In addition, there is no interaction between the treatment of learning and the category of self-reliance on students 'mathematical learning towards improving students' mathematical problem solving abilities.

Abstract:This study aims to determine the application of discovery learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This research is experimental research with a quasi experimental design. The population in this study were all students of grade VII SMPN 4 Sungguminasa with grade VII.A as samples an experimental class and grade VII.C as a control class. The research instruments used a test to solve mathematical problems. Data analysis techniques were descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the application of discovery learning model is effective on students' mathematical problem solving abilities.Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian yaitu quasi eksperimental design. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 4 Sungguminasa dengan sampel pada kelas VII.A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII.C sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa.

AbstrakDiperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang masih rendah, misalnya menggunakan model pembelajaran tipe Think Pair Share. Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengetahui peningkatan dan seberapa jauh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa dapat meningkat dengan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share. Metode penelitian yaitu kuasi eksperimen, dengan populasi siswa kelas VIII di satu SMP di Kabupaten Garut. Sampel yaitu kelas VIII-A sejumlah 33 siswa, dipilih berdasarkan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen berupa soal tes uraian kemampuan pemecahan masalah diujikan sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Hasil analisis data pada kelas Think Pair Share menunjukkan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berkategori sedang. Pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share terbukti cukup efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Think Pair Share Type Cooperative Learning Model to improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability AbstractEfforts are needed to improve the achievement of mathematical problem-solving abilities that are still low, for example using the Think Pair Share type of learning model. The purpose of this research is to find out how much improvement and how much the students' mathematical problem-solving ability increases through the Think Pair Share learning model. The research method is quasi-experimental, with a population of eighth-grade students in one junior high school in Garut Regency. The sample is class VIII-A with 33 students, selected based on purposive sampling technique. Instruments in the form of test questions describing problem-solving abilities were tested before and after learning. The results of data analysis in the Think Pair Share class showed an increase in the ability to solve mathematical problems in the medium category. Cooperative learning Think Pair Share type proved effective enough to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.

AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan bukti empirik peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa, untuk mengetahui bagaimana sikap siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving, dan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara sikap siswa dengan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di MTs At-tarbiyah dengan sampel kelas eksperimen 24 siswa dan kelas kontrol 20 siswa, dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dan kelas kontrol menggunakan modell pembelajaran biasa. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving lebih baik daripada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa, sikap siswa terhadap model  pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving positif, dan tidak terdapat hubungan antara sikap siswa dengan peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Abstract (Use of Creative Problem Solving Learning Model to Improve Students Mathematical Problem Solving bility)The aims of this research are to get empirical evidence of enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability which students use Creative Problem Solving learning model better than students use ordinary learning model, to know how students’ attitude toward Creative Problem Solving learning model, and to know the correlation between students’ attitude and enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability. The research method uses Quasi Experimental with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this research are grade VIII students at MTs At-tarbiyah, with a sample of, 24 students for the experimental class and 20 students for the control class are determined by purposive sampling. The experimental class uses the Creative Problem Solving learning model and the control class uses the ordinary learning model. Based on the results and discussions, it can be concluded that enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability of students that use Creative Problem Solving learning model better than students use ordinary learning model, students’ attitude toward Creative Problem Solving learning model is positive, and there is no correlation between students’ attitude and enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability.

<p class="AfiliasiCxSpFirst" align="left"><strong>Abstrak:</strong></p><p class="AfiliasiCxSpMiddle">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together </em>dan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>di kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 11 Medan yang terdiri dari 2 kelas dan berjumlah 60 siswa, yang juga dijadikan sampel pada penelitian ini yakni sebagai sampel jenuh. Instrumen tes yang digunakan adalah dengan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbentuk uraian. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis vaian (ANAVA). Hasil temuan ini menunjukkan: 1) Kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 2)Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> tidak lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 3) Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran <em>Numbered Head Together</em> lebih baik dari pada siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran <em>Realistics Mathematic Education </em>pada materi turunan fungsi; 4) Terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara model pembelajaran yang digunakan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi turunan fungsi. This research is a quantitative research with the type of research that is quasi experiment. The population of this study was all students of class XI of SMA Negeri 11 Medan consisting of 2 classes and totaling 60 students, who were also sampled in this study as saturated samples. The test instrument used was a critical thinking ability test and a problem solving ability test in the form of a description. Data analysis was performed by analysis of variants (ANAVA). These findings show: 1) The ability to think critically the mathematics of students taught using the Numbered Head Together learning model is better than students taught with the Realistic Mathematic Education learning model on functional derivative material; 2) The ability to solve mathematical problems of students who are taught using the Numbered Head Together learning model is no better than students who are taught with Realistic Mathematic Education learning models on functional derivative material; 3) The ability to think critically and solve mathematical problems of students taught using the Numbered Head Together learning model is better than students taught with Realistic Mathematic Education learning models on functional derivative materials; 4) There is a significant interaction between the learning models used in critical thinking skills and students' mathematical problem solving on functional derivative material. AbstractThis research is based on the problem of the low mathematical problem solving ability of students who have a relationship with someone's success in solving a problem that they face. In this case, to overcome this, a class of research was conducted using an open ended approach and ordinary learning. In addition, this research is a quasi-experimental. The population in this study were students of class X MA in Bandung in 2018/2019 academic year. The research sample is all Class X students in one MA in Bandung. Quantitative analysis was performed using the two-difference test and descriptive qualitative analysis was also carried out. The results showed that the ability to solve mathematical problems using the open ended approach was better than those using the usual approach.
